I don’t know where to start! What an incredible experience it was to get married at the Notley Tythe Barn. Alison helped us plan and made sure our day reflected us as a couple. Her support with the nitty gritty details was invaluable and helped our day run smoothly. Alison is a joy to work with and took all the stress away from planning. Lorraine was also very helpful answering questions too, particularly when Alison was out of office and we needed answers quickly. Jules looked after us beautifully on the day! We felt like complete celebrities and our day felt relaxed but also contained all the extra fun elements we were looking to include, including, beer donkey, signature cocktails, champagne popping and cold spark machines. Jules’ run through before hand was very helpful and we loved spending quality time with her before the big day. Petr and Daniela wowed us with their food! They completely personalised our menu to include our favourite meals and made sure, when designing it with us, that we covered a range of options that would cater for all guest preferences. We also had a range of guest with allergies and dietary requirements. These guests were glowing about not only their food but also their experience of service during the meal throughout, which made them feel very comfortable and reassured. Notley’s DJ, was incredible at taking a sample of our preferred music tastes and creating a set that had all ages dancing the whole night long! He worked seamlessly with an outside sax and bongo player to create an electric atmosphere! Finally the waiters and waitresses that work at Notley, really are second to none! Not only were they professional but they are clearly a strong knit team that did everything with a smile on their faces and nothing seemed too much trouble. We have had so many guests get in touch saying it was the best wedding they have ever been too and that it was not only luxurious but completely unique! The phrase that was mentioned endlessly was ‘If Carlsberg did weddings!’ Thank you the whole Notley Team for making our dream wedding come true!

Notley Tythe Barn is a beautiful venue, with gorgeous grounds and a fantastic team. We communicated with Alison via email in the years/months leading up to our big day, and Jules and her team then coordinated and conducted the big day for us. The attention to detail, attentiveness and care from the whole team was outstanding! The food was delicious, and all our guests were very complimentary of the food/drinks. All dietary requirements were catered for, and the selection of menu choices is brilliant. The venue has had a makeover since we booked it almost two years ago, and while it always looked beautiful, the new flooring and special touches in the dancefloor area really have made the venue look fabulous. We had the wedding day of our dreams, and we cannot thank the whole Notley team enough. Thank you!

The venue is beautiful no question. The day itself went very well and I was very happy with our host which is why I've given the stars I have. Our guests enjoyed their food. Our only complaint, and it's a big one, was a disagreement over what we agreed when it came to the skulls hanging up around the venue. We requested all stags heads be taken down, they agreed, but later stated that only encompassed the stuffed ones and refused point blank to take down the skulls when I'd made a point to say when booking that I wouldn't book unless it was done. They only offered to refund us everything we'd paid when they knew by that point (only six months before a bank holiday weekend wedding) that we wouldn't be able to rebook anywhere. This was a very upsetting part of the experience. However as I've said, the day itself was wonderful and everything went as planned so I wouldn't say snub this venue, just get everything in writing.

Where to start with Notley. From the beginning of our wedding planning to the day itself, they were nothing but seamless, hugely accommodating and just the easiest people to work with. They accommodated our every wish - including letting us hire in long tables and letting my brother do a guest DJ set, as well as organising a last minute cocktail hour! The team are wonderful and really work with you to make sure your day is perfect - offering amazing advice to ensure the day runs without issue. On the day itself, Jules the event manager was phenomenal. She managed the whole day expertly - we barely noticed it was an event and not just a day we got to spend with all our loved ones. And I can’t forget the food - my goodness we’ve had so many compliments from our guests about the standard of the food. It was honestly incredible! Cannot recommend Notley highly enough.

We had the perfect day at Notley Tythe Barn. From our first visit - we were sold on this venue due to the food, which the chef was kind enough to let us try and was just incredible! Very large portions and incredible quality and choice, with guests with allergies catered for amazingly. Our guests couldn't stop talking about it!
The barn itself is beautiful so needs very little extra decorations to make it special.
All in all - would recommend this venue to anyone - pure perfection!

Notley Tythe Barn was a magical venue for our wedding. The setting and the incredible 'old barn features' gave our wedding the look we were after. The food, all prepared by their own chef, was definitely a highlight. All the produce is locally sourced too. And finally, the staff on the day were absolutely amazing. We can definitely recommend Notley Tythe Barn!

We recently got married at Notley Tythe Barn and it was just perfect. The teams were brilliant from start to finish. We only had our ceremony there and it didn't feel rushed, there wasn't any stress and it just looks stunning in our wedding photo's. From the first visit i know this was the barn i wanted to get married in.
