Lots of people asked us why we chose Brookfield Barn for our wedding as we weren't exactly local and the answer was simply it was by far the nicest venue we had seen (and we did a lot of research)! It's nicely tucked away in the countryside but still close to main roads and towns (we had a family breakfast at Bills in Horsham the day after which was lovely).

You can choose to have your ceremony inside or outside, we opted for inside with the windows open and the views were stunning. There's also lots of space on the patio for garden games and a few of the family brought their golf clubs to play a couple of holes in the evening!

The whole team were amazing at setting up and ensuring everything ran on time. Even in the planning stages beforehand they made us feel totally at ease and gave us some helpful suggestions for things we were unsure of like seating plans etc.

They also provide an online wedding planning questionnaire to fill out as you go through the planning process, which I admit was a little daunting at first, but was a complete life saver closer to the day as I felt safe in the knowledge that everything had been thought of and meant I could just relax and enjoy the day!

Would certainly recommend to anyone, we had a fantastic day.

From the moment we visited Brookfield Barn we both fell in love with this venue. Once we had decided on this venue, they gave us a meeting to chat about dates, prices and menu options with their in-house catering. I felt the whole process, from start to finish the venue was really present with our whole wedding day and not just with the location. Our wedding co-ordinator Emily had regular zoom meetings to check in, give advice and create a wedding schedule which helped me feel so at ease with how things were coming together. The pricing of everything is explained to you at the start so everything feels super transparent, then you can budget accordingly and you're able to add things on right up until a few weeks before the big day. On my wedding day Emily ensured everything ran smoothly, making sure I was never stressed and could just enjoy getting married. Also checking in the following morning and breakfast. I couldn't recommend this venue enough, everything was immaculate and the service was top tier. This is truly a dream venue giving you a magical experience for your big day, If we could do it all over again we would!

From our first visit to Brookfield Barn we knew that no other venue could compare. The communication in the lead up to our wedding day was amazing and Annaelle was a fantastic aid in making us feel so relaxed. Nothing was too much trouble and all our guests commented on how amazing all the staff were and what a beautiful venue we were in. The food was beyond anything we could have imagined and we really appreciated the wedding experience event to sample different dishes before making a final decision. We couldn't recommend the venue more!

Our May 2023 wedding at Brookfield left us with a mix of emotions, as the venue showcased its elegance but fell short on crucial details that are essential for a flawless wedding experience.

The positives first: the venue itself is beautiful, and the wedding breakfast service was commendable. Guests were unaware of the behind-the-scenes chaos, and many appreciated the well-presented food service, highlighting the professionalism of the waitstaff.

However, the negative aspects overshadowed these positives. One of the glaring issues was the lack of strong leadership. The wedding coordinator, a key figure in ensuring smooth operations, was mysteriously absent during crucial moments, such as the morning preparations and throughout the day. This absence resulted in missed opportunities, including a crucial first look with the bride's father, as the coordinator failed to communicate effectively with him.

Attention to detail is crucial in wedding planning, and unfortunately, Brookfield fell short in this area. Despite our efforts to plan every small detail, execution was poor. From a smashed gin bottle used for decoration to a lack of care for personal property, including a failure to provide safe storage for the photographer's belongings, these oversights marred what should have been a seamless day.

Specifically, our chosen songs for the ceremony were forgotten due to an oversight in charging an iPad. There was no speaker and microphone for the registrar, despite emphasizing the importance of guests hearing the ceremony. Canapés weren't offered to all guests, and the distribution of drinks and canapés during the reception was haphazard, leaving some guests hungry and disappointed.

The wedding day timeline was disrupted, with dinner running late. This was attributed to an inaccurate estimate of the time it takes to serve and feed guests. Concerns raised during the tasting event were dismissed with a lackadaisical attitude, with little effort made to address or rectify the issue.

In summary, while Brookfield boasts a visually appealing venue and received positive feedback for the wedding breakfast service, the lack of attention to detail, poor coordination, and failure to address concerns leave us with a sense of disappointment. For the premium price paid for a wedding venue, flawless execution should be expected, and unfortunately, our experience at Brookfield fell short of this expectation.

Brookfield Barn was the first & only place we viewed. We fell in love with it instantly. Throughout the 2 years of planning they were nothing but exemplary.
Our wedding planner Anouskja was amazing & key to everything falling into place. We couldn’t have done it. Jamie the manager too was lovely & made sure the actual day on the day ran seamlessly.
On the day nothing went wrong. It was the best day possible & all the planning and organising was worth it. The staff were meticulous throughout, happy and smiling from start to finish. Our guests still now say it was the best wedding food they have ever had, a comment I can second.

Don’t think twice about viewing this beautiful place. We 19379% recommend them.

We got married here in September 2023 and had the best wedding! The staff were all wonderful and ensured that our day ran as smoothly as possible so I wasn't stressed or worried at any point during the day! Great venue and wheelchair accessible with 2 accessible toilets on site and a accessible bedroom too!

I honestly couldn’t recommend Brookfield Barn anymore as a wedding venue. We were lucky to get married here on Saturday and it was the best day of our lives. The team were so kind and supportive in the lead up to the wedding, even managing to change our date to avoid restrictions! They kept me calm through all of the planning and on the day we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The venue is absolutely stunning, set on a beautiful location. We honestly couldn’t be happier. We got married here last Friday and whilst I am biased, we have been to many weddings and we looked at a lot of venues and this is the best! Even the suppliers commented on how much the venue has gone from strength to strength over the years! We fell in love with Brookfield Barn before the renovations and it’s completely exceeded our expectations! Annaelle is an exceptional coordinator who made sure we had the most perfect day and delivered! The team are all incredible at what they do and nothing was too much trouble, from a relaxed feel to outstanding service! They have so many included details too such as an photobooth, card box, cake stand and so much more! Each of our guests have commented on how we picked a brilliant venue and we couldn’t agree more! If any of you pick Brookfield Barn, please invite me so I can go back! 🤣

We booked our wedding at Brookfield Barn on the 28th March 2024 and our day was absolutely perfect from start to finish, everything we could have dreamed of and more.

Our wedding planner was Anouskja throughout the main bulk of the process, however this was changed to Annaelle a matter of weeks before our wedding. The handover process was thankfully seamless and Annaelle was fully up to date on all aspects of our day, so that everything could be coordinated.

We fell in love with the venue prior to the redecoration works, the barn, outdoor ceremony space and reception areas ticked all our boxes and we were looking for a venue with on-site accommodation.
Every time we revisited, the staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcome and excited for our big day. Nothing was too much trouble and all queries were answered very promptly.

We attended the wedding food tasting event, and my gosh the food was INCREDIBLE. We had such a difficult time choosing our menu as we wanted everything! Food was a very important part of our day and we have only received such positive feedback from our guests - the portion sizes were very generous, even for the children's food and there were empty plates all around.
The mini shepherd pies and steak canapes were AMAZING!!

Unfortunately the weather was horrendous on our wedding day but the team and all suppliers worked effortlessly around this to ensure we still had the most special day.
One big highlight was the help and co-ordination of our singing waiters, Brookfield Barn gave them uniforms and helped them blend in as waiters before our surprise for our guests.

Overall, we had the best day of our lives and would recommend Brookfield Barn in a heartbeat!

Some general feedback:
We did feel that Prosecco for the getting ready room the morning of, should have been complementary and not at an additional charge.
The food tasting event showcased several dishes mainly from their higher priced menu, which we couldn't afford to opt for - a mixture of the menus would have been preferred.
There were some elements we were sold/promised on our initial viewing that didn't transpire or were mis-communicated. It didn't effect our day at all, it just meant we had to re-confirm some items as there was a little bit of confusion.

None of the above takes away anything from our day, which was perfect in SO many ways.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Brookfield Barn to anyone looking for a romantic and beautiful wedding venue.

We got married at Brookfield Barn in July and whilst the venue was beautiful and the catering amazing, we would never recommend Brookfield Barn. The manager was rude, response times were incredibly slow and we never got a straight answer about anything, they confirmed prices in writing to us then went back on this and charged us way more which is against trading standards, and staffing on the day was poor (catering and bar staff an exception to this). Their management company were reasonable when dealing with our complaints, but there have been lots of excuses made and no real admission of fault. By choosing this venue we caused ourselves a lot of unnecessary stress. In hindsight, we would have chosen elsewhere.

All of the team at Brookfield Barn have been amazing, especially on the wedding day all of the staff there were fantastic. Our wedding coordinator Annaelle was amazing in the lead up to the wedding (and on the day), helping with anything we needed and suggesting things for us. The venue is beautiful inside and out, especially with the new look to the bar area. All of our guests commented on what a lovely venue it is, we had the best day! Thank you again.

We had our wedding at Brookfield Barn in July 2021. They were excellent, from when we booked them two years ago, to having to move the date amongst a pandemic, to then the finale in July.
They were responsive, meticulous and professional throughout. Their venue is gorgeous and secluded and gave us a beautiful external venue, with the very helpful back up of an equally stunning interior barn when it rained!
