Great value for money for an amazing location. staff were really helpful. especially with help the day before . morning of the wedding getting lots of things ready for us. Also really helped with making the day seamless. we didn't have to worry at all about the right things happening at the right time. their team took care of everything

The Plough and Barn was the perfect venue for my husband and I. They brought our vision alive and we loved the rustic, relaxed, easy approach. Becky was brilliant and accommodating to all our ideas and made them come to life, making the day truly ours. Her relaxed chilled approach really took away any stresses and the whole time we felt relaxed, we knew the day was going to be perfect. They didn’t mind us over running on our timetable either, the whole experience was just perfect and beautiful and fit us perfectly. We can’t wait to return for our anniversary meal 😊

Our Wedding Day at The Plough and Barn was truly the best day ever! From our first show around to the day itself, and every visit to the venue in between, the whole team were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Della helped us plan all the details and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. All of our guests commented on the gorgeous setting, amazing and plentiful food, and smooth running of our day. We were looking for a non-traditional wedding, stripping out all the elements that would take time away from us being with our guests. Other venues we viewed told us how we'd be managed to hit all the many 'wedding timings' - the whole team at The Plough got our more relaxed vision straight away and instead did it the way we wanted, whilst still making sure we were in the right places at the right times. We took the whole venue for the day, were married outside in the garden, ate in the barn, drank in the pub bar and spent a fantastic day with family and friends. It was a bright summer day in the end but having the barn there as an option in case of rain took the 'British Weather' worry away.

Becky & her team were awesome. We had the most amazing day, I loved it all. The venue is stunning and the food incredible. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The day was special, everything we wanted.

We cannot recommend The Plough Leigh in Hildenborough highly enough for anyone planning their special day. From the very first moment we started looking for a venue, through every step of the planning process, right up to our wedding day itself, every single member of staff was so friendly, genuinely helpful and endlessly supportive. Nothing was ever too much trouble – no question was too small, no request too big, and they always went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and exactly how we wanted it.

Our outdoor ceremony was absolutely beautiful – such a lovely, picture-perfect setting – and the barn looked absolutely stunning, exactly how we’d dreamed it would be. We felt completely looked after and reassured at every stage, and they helped make our day so magical and stress-free.

All our guests complimented the venue and how beautiful it was. All complimented the staff and felt right at home. The food was delicious and none was left hungry.

We cannot thank the team enough for everything. Especially to Della who was with us every step of the way.

They provide great recommendations of suppliers from venue stylist, florists, etc. All the suppliers were honest and very conscientious of budget which was a great help.

We had our fantastic wedding day on 20.06.26 and it couldnt have been more perfect at the Plough, its a relaxed, gorgeous old barn and pub venue, with very beautiful grounds, getting married in the summer meant we could use their outdoor gazebo for our ceremony, which got decorated beautifully by our florist and their decorator. We approached hazel and her team with our budget originally and they were very accommodating of what we could afford. Each step of the way has been an easy and enjoyable process with the team here and our guests loved the venue, complimenting it all night. The food here is also very nice!! Overall were so glad we chose this venue for our wedding!

The Plough and Barn was the best decision we made when booking out wedding. It gave that rustic, calm and personal vibe we were looking for. Becky and the team were amazing at answering all (and I had A LOT) of questions throughout the process and I was never made to feel like I was annoying them (which I most definitely did)!

They set up our decorations better than I could have dreamed and everyone commented on how amazing it all looked.

The barn and garden are such a beautiful spot that you don’t even need that much decorations wise to make it look fantastic as it speaks for itself!

We Chose The Plough to be our Wedding Venue 2 years prior to us Marrying. We both fell in love with it visiting on one of their open days.
We fell in love with The Barn, the romantic feel it gave us with the fairy lights & the hops hung around which then follow through to the pub, it was beautiful and we knew it was the venue we had envisioned for Our Wedding.
We met with Della to discuss ideas & to answer questions we had. Della was lovely, we loved the relaxed feel we knew would make our day perfect! We had also booked dinner,we were so pleased we did the food is amazing!! So this sealed the booking!!
Della was amazing throughout the 2 years leading upto our Wedding, all emails replied, communication was fantastic!! Everything we asked for even couple of tweaks with the menu was absolutley fine with Della which was a great relief.
Menu tasting was amazing also! We loved being in the pub for this.
Popping in a few times leading upto our Wedding for a drink or food was so handy as we got to speak to staff & look again at the barn, nothing was ever too much trouble.
On Our Wedding Day it was absolutley perfect! The Plough looked beautiful, everything had been placed perfectly, all our suppliers had worked so well alongside all the staff at The Plough with Della & Becky being at the forefront to keep everything running smoothly.

then supporting myself & Bridesmaids with a cheeky shot before the Ceremony before making sure we entered smoothly into the Ceremony. Which was set up beautifully!!
The transitions flowed from the Ceremony in The Barn to the beautiful garden with a stunning wishing well and willow tree, where the sun shone, Hollie ( Miss Holiday Swing) singing while the guests relaxed with beers,pimms & enjoyed canapés. To then transition back to The Barn set up for the Wedding Breakfast was amazing!! It blew us away perfect in every way again they got it so right!!
The next transition from the meal to the pub and garden. Where evening guests arrived before The Barn being prepared for the evening. They truly are an amazing team pulling this all off so precisely and perfectly!
All our guests complemented the team, The Venue, how gorgeous it is also how AMAZING the food was...piping hot, flavoursome the BEST food ever at a Wedding venue!! The evening buffet of pizzas, cheeses, pastries was also fabulous guests were blown away!!! Della checked in on us throughout the day to make sure we was happy which was lovely.
Our theme was romantic which The Plough deffinatley lived upto!!
Della, Becky & the team kept personal belongings safe for us & was packed up ready for collection the next day.
We honestly cant thank and recommend The Plough and the team enough!! It truly is a wonderful place we are so happy we get to go back at anytime for a visit, have a drink and eat delicious food and reminisce at anytime in the future!

This 17th century country pub and barn wedding venue was absolutely perfect! The setting was stunning and full of charm, creating the most beautiful atmosphere for our special day. The staff were incredible—so friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout, making everything run seamlessly. The food was fantastic as well—delicious, beautifully presented, and loved by all our guests. We were also very lucky with the weather, which meant we could enjoy every part of the venue to its fullest. It truly made our day unforgettable!

We so appreciated how flexible and laid-back all the staff were, and how helpful and responsive they all were - especially on the day! It made for an absolutely wonderful day that all our guests enjoyed, especially all our Canadian relatives who enjoyed the incredible spaces in the pub and the barn. We were even graced by some daffodils in the garden on a gorgeous spring day. And thoughtful touches (like providing non-alcoholic options for the pregnant bride before she could even ask for them) were the cherry on top. We're already looking forward to coming back for an anniversary lunch in a year's time to enjoy more of the delicious chips that everyone raved about on the dance floor as our late-night snack.

We had a wonderful wedding on NYE, with 80 day guests and 120 for the evening reception. There was ample room and the use of both the main reception and pub bar areas, ensured there was minimal fuss in having refreshments served. The wedding breakfast meals were substantial and nobody went hungry! We would highly recommend the venue and the staff who supported us throughout the process and on our special day (particular thanks to Becky for her unerring patience)
