We Chose The Plough to be our Wedding Venue 2 years prior to us Marrying. We both fell in love with it visiting on one of their open days.
We fell in love with The Barn, the romantic feel it gave us with the fairy lights & the hops hung around which then follow through to the pub, it was beautiful and we knew it was the venue we had envisioned for Our Wedding.
We met with Della to discuss ideas & to answer questions we had. Della was lovely, we loved the relaxed feel we knew would make our day perfect! We had also booked dinner,we were so pleased we did the food is amazing!! So this sealed the booking!!
Della was amazing throughout the 2 years leading upto our Wedding, all emails replied, communication was fantastic!! Everything we asked for even couple of tweaks with the menu was absolutley fine with Della which was a great relief.
Menu tasting was amazing also! We loved being in the pub for this.
Popping in a few times leading upto our Wedding for a drink or food was so handy as we got to speak to staff & look again at the barn, nothing was ever too much trouble.
On Our Wedding Day it was absolutley perfect! The Plough looked beautiful, everything had been placed perfectly, all our suppliers had worked so well alongside all the staff at The Plough with Della & Becky being at the forefront to keep everything running smoothly.

then supporting myself & Bridesmaids with a cheeky shot before the Ceremony before making sure we entered smoothly into the Ceremony. Which was set up beautifully!!
The transitions flowed from the Ceremony in The Barn to the beautiful garden with a stunning wishing well and willow tree, where the sun shone, Hollie ( Miss Holiday Swing) singing while the guests relaxed with beers,pimms & enjoyed canapés. To then transition back to The Barn set up for the Wedding Breakfast was amazing!! It blew us away perfect in every way again they got it so right!!
The next transition from the meal to the pub and garden. Where evening guests arrived before The Barn being prepared for the evening. They truly are an amazing team pulling this all off so precisely and perfectly!
All our guests complemented the team, The Venue, how gorgeous it is also how AMAZING the food was...piping hot, flavoursome the BEST food ever at a Wedding venue!! The evening buffet of pizzas, cheeses, pastries was also fabulous guests were blown away!!! Della checked in on us throughout the day to make sure we was happy which was lovely.
Our theme was romantic which The Plough deffinatley lived upto!!
Della, Becky & the team kept personal belongings safe for us & was packed up ready for collection the next day.
We honestly cant thank and recommend The Plough and the team enough!! It truly is a wonderful place we are so happy we get to go back at anytime for a visit, have a drink and eat delicious food and reminisce at anytime in the future!

This 17th century country pub and barn wedding venue was absolutely perfect! The setting was stunning and full of charm, creating the most beautiful atmosphere for our special day. The staff were incredible—so friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout, making everything run seamlessly. The food was fantastic as well—delicious, beautifully presented, and loved by all our guests. We were also very lucky with the weather, which meant we could enjoy every part of the venue to its fullest. It truly made our day unforgettable!

We so appreciated how flexible and laid-back all the staff were, and how helpful and responsive they all were - especially on the day! It made for an absolutely wonderful day that all our guests enjoyed, especially all our Canadian relatives who enjoyed the incredible spaces in the pub and the barn. We were even graced by some daffodils in the garden on a gorgeous spring day. And thoughtful touches (like providing non-alcoholic options for the pregnant bride before she could even ask for them) were the cherry on top. We're already looking forward to coming back for an anniversary lunch in a year's time to enjoy more of the delicious chips that everyone raved about on the dance floor as our late-night snack.

We had a wonderful wedding on NYE, with 80 day guests and 120 for the evening reception. There was ample room and the use of both the main reception and pub bar areas, ensured there was minimal fuss in having refreshments served. The wedding breakfast meals were substantial and nobody went hungry! We would highly recommend the venue and the staff who supported us throughout the process and on our special day (particular thanks to Becky for her unerring patience)

From the moment I watched the virtual tour, I knew this venue was the one…so much so, it made me cry when I first visited. From the beams and the hops hanging in the pub to the fairy lights in the barn, to the willow tree and wishing well in the garden, I was absolutely enchanted.

The team treat you like family and every request and wish is treated with compassion and respect. It’s clear that to make your wedding nothing short of perfect is their goal.

On the day, it felt like home..warm, inviting and full of love…our hearts totally full (and tummies too, the food was amazing!!!!!) We had the most wonderful day and would do it all again in a heartbeat.

If you are looking for authentic Kent with a rustic feel and stunning outdoor space along with that feeling of a big hug then this might just be the place for you and 100% recommend it. We’ve had more than one comment from our guests that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to!! ❤️

What a beautiful venue, & the staff go absolutely above and beyond for you! Becky was our coordinator, and made everything feel so easy! The team as a whole were super helpful & also made sure the day ran smoothly. We had the most perfect day possible at The Plough, and was everything we had imagined it to be! Becky really helped our vision come to life. We only had minimal styling as the venue is so beautiful! The communication with Becky leading up to the wedding was fantastic, every time I needed some reassurance or just asking question after question, Becky was there to answer them. We would absolutely recommend this venue.

From start to finish the Plough were amazing and we had the most fantastic day.

Not only is the venue beautiful inside and out but it incredible value for money. My friends can’t believe how much we paid for this wonderful place. The food was also amazing, really nice and great portion sizes. Your guests will certainly not be hungry!

The standout though is definitely the staff. Della was so helpful the whole time. I can’t believe how flexible they were, we were able to make the day exactly how we wanted and for that we will always be grateful.

The Plough and Barn at Leigh offer a fantastic wedding service and catering. The team is super responsive and knowledgeable. The whole experience was totally stress-free and smooth running thanks to the organisation, guidance and expertise of the team, especially Della. The food was also very tasty. We would definitely recommend.

We had the most incredible wedding day at The Plough & Barn at Leigh. From the very first moment to the last, the care, organisation, and attention to detail were truly exceptional. The team made everything feel seamless, and we felt so supported throughout the whole process.

They took every one of our decorative ideas and brought them to life even more beautifully than we could have imagined. It honestly felt like stepping into a dream. Our guests were full of compliments about how smoothly the day ran and how stunning everything looked.

The team were so kind & warm on the day and felt like an extension of our wedding party. They looked after us all with immaculate care, including ensuring we got food when having our photos taken.

On top of all that, the thoughtful touches — like ensuring we had our leftover food to take away — meant so much to us, especially as we headed straight into a house move and renovations afterwards!

We could not recommend The Plough enough! They were so communicative, caring and thoughtful from start to finish. We felt like the only couple in the world that they were working with, we were made to feel so special. Nothing was too much of an ask and they put special touches in place for us and touched base with us throughout the day to make sure we were happy and attended to. They noticed every tiny thing and gave us tips throughout the day and offered space for just us two to go whenever we wanted. It felt like having friends there on the day helping us rather than the venue staff. The place was decorated beautifully and my instructions were followed to the point of how I wanted everything laid out on the tables. They were on it with hosting and directing guests as to when it was raining and needing to move inside. We couldnt have asked for anything better! I would recommend this beautiful venue and wonderful staff to anyone who is getting married!

We booked The Plough for our wedding on 5th July this year and from the moment we stepped in to have a look round and suss it out, we knew it was the place for us! The staff went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble. They made the barn look stunning and everything was just as we imagined it. The food in particular went down a storm and all of our guests are still talking about it now - especially the pizzas!!! We can’t thank them all enough for making our special day even more special

We had our summer wedding reception at the plough and I can’t recommend them enough. Della and the team were so accommodating making sure everyone was catered for and guiding us through the planning process. Our day ran so seamlessly and everyone commented on how stunning the venue is. We made great use of the garden space too and the slide kept the children entertained all evening. Choosing the plough to host our reception was the best decision we could’ve made. Thank you for giving us our perfect day.

In the run up they were on hand to answer questions and made everything really easy for us.
On the day they had everything covered, allowing us to simply enjoy the day.
Luckily the weather was on our side so we were able to get married outside, but the team were able to switch our ceremony to inside on the day of the weather required it.
