Known as one of the prime Cotswold wedding venues, Merriscourt prides itself on facilitating bespoke events. The three interlinking, converted Cotswold barns surround a romantic courtyard, with spectacular rural views across the rolling countryside. There are a wealth of stunning spots for wedding photos and idyllic strolls, whatever the season. You and your beloved can exchange your vows outside before heading into one of the barns to wine, dine, and dance the night away. The White Barn is brimming with style and sophistication, while the Stone Barn has a distinctly rustic aesthetic.

The most amazing team and venue!
From the moment we visited Merriscourt we knew it was the venue for us. Emily was so welcoming to us and our dog (and always asked after him whenever we spoke after this!). Throughout the process, her and Paige seemed genuinely excited for us and were very supportive in helping us create all the personal touches to our day. As well as making sure everything ran smoothly they were always on hand to offer support and advice in the planning process when we wanted a second opinion on what might work best etc. Emily even helped my mum to arrange a surprise wedding present of having a live artist paint us on the day! As well as finding a beautiful, dog friendly setting, good food was also important to us and John did an incredible job on our bespoke Italian menu: we’ve had many people comment it was the best risotto they have ever had! From suggesting good accompanying canapes to seeking out Italian wine options for us, the team could not have done more to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted. Merriscourt and all the team will always have a very special place in our hearts.

Why are you Hesitating?! Just BOOK IT!
We had THE BEST day with the Team at Merriscourt! They were responsive, personal, friendly and really showed genuine care about you, your guests and your day. Paige on the day was a brilliant, calming presence and was there to meet us/help us set up the day before. She always seemed to be exactly where we needed her to be - Sometimes BEFORE we knew we needed her there! She showed genuine care and it was like she was our best friend for the time we spent with them.
In fact, all of the Team were! Everyone was lovely, and cared. We didn't want to leave! We ended up chatting with Emily for a good 15 minutes before we left, and it felt like we were just having a Gab with a Friend!
The day ran so smoothly or, if it didn't, we did not notice.
The venue is stunning, that goes without saying, but the Team are fantastic. If you are hesitating about booking this for your Wedding - Don't. They will look after you brilliantly.
My Husband (eek) is a Chef so had high standards when it came to the Food - This was the most important thing to him on the day - and the Chef was fantastic. They devised a Menu together that not only showcased their talent, but included an incredibly personal element to us .. and the Roast Potatoes were BANGING :)

The most perfect venue
From the moment we chose Merriscourt, we knew we were in the best hands. Paige was like a wing woman from day one – so kind, supportive, and genuinely invested in our day. I honestly feel like I made a friend in her! In nearly every one of our wedding photos, she’s there in the background smiling, and it makes my heart so happy.
Emily was an organised queen – calm, professional, and always one step ahead. Georgia was brilliant on the day, running around making sure every last detail was perfect. Together, the team made everything feel effortless.
What really stands out is how much they get to know their couples. It never felt like a transaction – everything was transparent, fair, and handled with such care. The venue itself is breathtaking, and the food was off-the-charts memorable.
If you’re looking for a venue that’s not only stunning but also filled with people who truly care, Merriscourt is it.

Very pretty venue
The venue was just stunning, we had so many guests say how beautiful everything was. The onsite accommodation was so useful as well, with so many people having come in from far away. The venue was very communicative and easy to work with. Our only feedback would be that the menu taster option should be reserved and available for all couples booked within the two taster sessions so that there is the option for every couple to enjoy the event rather than missing out due to lack of space.

Best wedding venue!
Merriscourt was the loveliest venue, Paige, Emily and Georgia were fantastic all the way through. We would never hesitate to recommend them. The food and service was incredible. Venue setting and ease for accommodation, food, organising etc was second to none and we are so grateful to everyone who helped make our day so special. Thank you 🥰

We got married at Merriscourt in July 2025, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we first visited, we knew this was the place—we were completely captivated by the breathtaking Cotswold views, the beautifully restored barns, and the warm, welcoming team.
The venue itself is a dream. Each of the three interconnecting barns has its own unique charm, and the flower-filled courtyard created the perfect setting for our guests to mingle and celebrate. 5 Star Service and Venue
I cannot describe how incredible this venue is. The merriscourt team are responsive, they were so hands-on on the day. I had all the right music, the team helped set everything up the day before the wedding, the food was so delicious (everyone raved to me about it). Emily was running about to keep everyone organised and in place, she was fantastic. I had the most perfect day and I could not have picked a better location.

The Best Day Ever!
We had our wedding at Merriscourt in May 2025, and what a day it was!
The girls, Paige & Emily - what can we say?! They were absolutely fabulous from start to finish, nothing was an issue and they answered any questions we had in rapid time. From the planning right up until the day after our wedding, everything ran so smoothly. They made it feel so personal, they gave the best advice and tips we needed too!
The venue itself, AMAZING! In a beautiful setting what felt like in the middle of nowhere, we never heard of Merriscourt before until we started venue hunting and it’s literally 12 miles away from our home. The first of many venue viewings but it’s fair to say we fell in love with it straight away! Many of our guests commented at how stunning it was, from the inside, to the cottages and the famous courtyard tree! Also the food was incredible, again many comments from our guests!
Overall the day was everything we could have dreamed of and more, highly recommend!

Merriscourt is the perfect wedding venue
The location is stunning and makes for fabulous photos; our guests were amazed. The food was fantastic and bespoke to what we wanted, the chef is very flexible and everything was personalised. Again the guests were so complimentary of the food. All staff members were so helpful and professional. Last but not least, Emily and Paige were the best planners, they met up with us as many times as needed and helped us create the perfect day and again fit it around exactly what we wanted! We really valued their input and expertise and they were so accommodating despite last minute changes. Throughout the day they were also keeping time and moving guests to where they needed to be which meant we could just relax and enjoy the day! Everything is onsite too and there is the option of staying indoors all day if the weather is bad. We got to enjoy the courtyard (in March) for the drink reception. We also stayed in the cottages which were great! We really had the most perfect day and could not have wished for anything better. Don't hesitate to book Merriscourt!

Wish we could do it all over again!
If you are reading this and aren't sure, go meet Paige and Emily at one of their open days. You will fall in love with the venue! It's a beautiful place to get married. The barns are stunning, the surroundings are lovely and the accommodation is second to none.
From start to finish Paige and Emily have been outstanding, going above and beyond for every wish, query and last minute change we put to them. They truly made planning our wedding easier, they are a pleasure to deal with and always communicate quickly with straight answers or suggestions to problems we had.
On the day itself we were very well looked after, knowing Paige was on top of things really helped us just enjoy our day and not worry about anything.

Wonderful wedding
Merriscourt was a wonderful venue for our wedding, and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out!
The location and the space is wonderful - this is a great venue to be at if you want a truly special Cotswold wedding, and we were really pleased with how we could be creative with the styling of the wedding to make it personal to us.
Emily, Paige, Eva, and the rest of the catering and events team made us feel very special during both the planning and the day itself, and ultimately it all went off without a hitch which is a testament to how well they had it all under control!
The food was delicious and they bent over backwards to accommodate us - we had a fully vegetarian wedding and the guests were delighted with everything.
We also really appreciated their flexibility and communication - in particular due to some health issues on my side, as well as some surprises that we had planned for the special day. They very much went above and beyond.
Overall, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Merriscourt!

The most incredible venue and team!
Paige, Emily and the whole team are absolutely fantastic. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and the venue is incredible. The best day of our lives! The team are with you through the whole planning process and make you feel so calm and confident ahead of the big day. They’re accommodating and flexible and will always do what they can do make your day extra special. Food is brilliant, setting is brilliant. All our guests are still raving about it. Thank you Merriscourt!!
