Gambledown Farm is a fully exclusive wedding weekend venue located in rural Hampshire on a working farm set down a private road on 270 acres of Hampshire, England countryside. We are within easy access to the M27, M3 and the cities of Winchester, Salisbury and Southampton. Gambledown Farm offers stylish accommodation for up to 16 in 3 converted barns and additional accommodation for up to 30 in 5 comfortable glamping tents in addition to the Wedding Barn. The wedding barn is a dry hire and can seat up to 70 guests. You can also hire a marquee if you require additional seating.
We love hosting weddings and seeing the wedding couple enjoying their special day with their family and friends. We like to meet up with the couple to show them the venue and all the accommodation, and then again once they have booked their suppliers for a meeting a few weeks before the wedding.
There are 2 local churches and Romsey Abbey in the local area.
Catering: We can recommend local caterers; our fully equipped commercial kitchen is part of the offer.
Rest: Our 3 converted barns can host up to 16 guests, and our comfortable glamping tents can host up to 30 guests. (the tents are available between April and October).
Services: Our wood-fired pizzas are available to order; we also have breakfast and BBQ hampers using produce from our farm.
Included in the hire is:
ample onsite parking for 50 vehicles
coat rail and hangers
easel stand for the seating plan
disabled access loo in the wedding barn
trestle tables (5) and 15 wooden folding chairs
we can recommend a local hire company to provide the remaining tables and chairs. We also hire our hay bales for extra outdoor seating.

The Perfect Countryside Wedding Venue
The most amazing wedding venue!
Tamara was absolutely amazing - always flexible and responsive with communication from the very start. The whole wedding planning process was very smooth and nothing was too much trouble for the venue.
All of the accommodation on site was very well maintained and spotlessly clean. We managed to accommodate most of our family and friends on site for the night of the wedding, which made things very easy. Our younger relatives loved staying in the glamping tents and exploring the countryside nearby (including saying hello to the animals!)
We were able to book the Cart Shed accommodation for an extended period to host close relatives from abroad, which was extremely helpful. Tamara even let us stay an extra night at the Staddlestone Barn so we could spend some more time with them!
We opted for the pizza night organised by Gambledown Farm the night before the wedding. The pizzas were very tasty and it was a great relaxed way to kick the weekend off.
Tamara was extremely flexible and let us use the kitchen space and equipment in advance to bake a homemade wedding cake and other desserts. We were very impressed with the amount of equipment available for us to use!
Everything was very reasonably priced for the quality and service provided. We highly recommend Gambledown Farm as a wedding venue. Thank you very much to Tamara and the whole team for making our wedding weekend so memorable!

Our Perfect Venue
Our priority was accommodation, we wanted our best people to stay with us and celebrate which is exactly what we had. A full weekend itinerary from Friday night pizzas in the barn, Saturday wedding day, and breakfast on Sunday.
The venue gave us so much flexibility for setting up on Friday and for clearing up on the Sunday, it felt like home for the weekend. Tamara and Amber were so helpful from the very start, giving all the information we needed when we looked around for the first time, letting us visit to measure things and meet our local suppliers there and they answered all our questions without hesitation. For setting up on the Friday and arranging the pizzas the team at Gambledown excelled. The gardens and surrounding venue also looked amazing.
On the day, the farm was such a relaxed environment with so much space, people were out running and walking on the morning of the wedding, all sorts! We had so much space in the holiday barns to get ready and for our guests to come in and out for breakfast and lunch.
Even after the wedding Tamara has been so helpful keeping an eye out for anything that our guests left. We would highly recommend!

The perfect rural venue for any couple wanting to make their wedding truly original.
Having the complete use of the entire property meant that we were immersed in the wedding bubble for the weekend! The accommodation is something our guests still talk about now and the farm animals are, of course, a bonus too!
The weekend started with arrival drinks and pizza in the barn, the wedding ceremony was held at a church a short drive away, after which we returned for our reception, using the lawn and event barn.
The farm itself is the perfect rural venue for any couple wanting to make their wedding truly original.
We couldn’t be more grateful and fortunate to have found this hidden gem.
