From start to finish the team at Southlands were absolutely amazing. I don't think we can put into words just how truly amazing they are and what a great day we had. The whole Southlands team are like a family and they make you feel so welcome. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them, and the venue itself is absolutely stunning. When you book the venue over the weekend you have access to all the facilities on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This makes the whole setting up process run so smoothly. From booking our wedding date back in 2023 right up until our special day we had Amy on hand to assist us with everything. She was so helpful and informative. The day before the wedding while setting up, we had Jack on hand to help us. She was absolutely invaluable during this time and could not do enough to help us. Not to mention keeping an eye on our dog Willow. Phil brings the party every time without fail, along with Liv, who I might add was amazing on the day helping to settle my nerves. The whole team is absolutely spectacular and I really hope to see them again in the future. Myself and the bridal party could not get over how helpful everyone was and how smooth sailing the day was. Notoriously weddings can be sickly stressful however we practically did not have to lift a finger on our special day and everything was seen to buy the Southlands team. As part of booking Southlands as your wedding venue you also receive an invitation to their wine tasting evenings that they run each year. This was such a lovely touch and an added extra to the already amazing venue. It was such a fun evening filled with family friends and the whole team enjoying their delicious wine. We booked Southlands Barn approximately two years prior to our wedding in September 2025. We didn’t need to view lots of venues, this was the one and only venue we viewed, and it immediately won our hearts. It has the complete wow factor. It is perfect. We didn’t need to look any further.

The whole Southlands team were truly amazing. From the moment we first made contact, Amy, Jacky, Liv, Phil, and the rest of the team were responsive, and attentive to all our needs. They literally couldn’t do enough for us.

They made sure everything ran smoothly on the day, and kept us calm.

The whole team were so warm and friendly, even our guests gave them numerous compliments.

The wine tasting night is not to be missed. What a brilliant night that was!

We have been back to visit since our big day, and were welcomed with open arms.

We got married at Southlands Sep25 and had THE BEST experience. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. Southlands team who helped us with the planning is incredibly helpful and accommodating. From the first viewing up until the day after the wedding they have been treating us like part of the family! The planning months have gone really smoothly, and they were incredible on the wedding day - taking care of all the details and working with suppliers based on our requests. We would not have changed a thing!

We honestly can’t recommend Southlands Barn enough! We had other venues lined up to view, but as soon as we walked into Southlands (our very first viewing!) we instantly fell in love with the stunning countryside setting, the cows in the fields, the beautiful peacocks wandering around, and most of all, the warmth and energy of the team. We cancelled all our other viewings that same day because we just knew this was the one.

From start to finish, the whole experience was incredible. The team at Southlands are absolute stars, so helpful, organised, and genuinely lovely to work with. The wine tasting night was such a brilliant touch as it gave us a real feel for what a wedding there would be like. Being able to bring four guests along made it such a fun and memorable evening and helped us pick our wedding wines in style.

One of the biggest highlights for us was having the venue from Friday to Sunday. It meant we could take our time with setup, do all our own DIY styling, and save on the cost of decorators or stylists. It also gave us the chance to host tea and cake on the Sunday for a relaxed take-down day with family and friends, which was such a lovely way to round off the weekend.

Southlands are also incredibly flexible when it comes to suppliers, which made a huge difference. We weren’t tied to specific caterers or limited in our choices for photographers, florists, or other suppliers, so we were able to make the day completely personal to us. Every detail reflected us, and that’s something we’ll always be grateful for.

The free shuttle service for guests staying locally is such an amazing extra touch and another example of how thoughtful and guest-focused the team are.

Our day was absolutely perfect from start to finish, and we had so many compliments from guests on how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the team were on the day. We truly can’t thank everyone at Southlands Barn enough for making our wedding weekend so special 💖

The most wonderful venue! Can't say enough good things about it. My daughter got married there on 26 June 2025 and it was perfect. The venue has so many different rooms, so guests can choose to dance, talk, relax or simply roast s'mores over the fire. The outdoor space is lovely, lots of green space and even cows to add ambience. But, even better than all this, are the kind and thoughtful people who run the venue. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and they go out of their way to make this special day perfect. Thank you all so much!!

A stunning place for our daughter’s picture perfect wedding in May. The most professional and kind people catered for every possible need and anything more that could have been wanted was provided in a calm and beautiful manner. I could not recommend Southlands Barns highly enough. Just an amazing wedding experience in every way.

Our wedding in October 2024 was perfect, thanks to the staff and Southlands. It may sound cliché, but they genuinely made us feel like part of the family from the moment we went for our first viewing to them helping us pack up the next day.

They went above and beyond which made our day even more memorable. The venue and surrounds are incredible, and the staff could not do enough for us to make the day run seamlessly.

We only viewed one venue, and it was Southlands. We're so glad we did, it's the best wedding planning decision we made.

From the moment we knew Southlands barn would make our day special, the team were absolutely amazing. From how the barn is decorated to the kind and thoughtful hospitality from all the staff, we felt right at home. Our guests said it was the most magical venue and we loved the countryside vibe. We had the most perfect day and would go back to Southlands barn to do it all again if we could.

We had the most amazing day for our wedding at Southlands Barn. I work in weddings myself so I have seen a lot of venues in action. And I can honestly say Southlands Barn is not only the best venue visually but the staff are incredible. I cannot recommend this place anymore!!!

We had the best day of our lives at our wedding in May and we can’t thank the amazing team at Southlands Barn enough!

We fell in love as soon as we walked through the doors for a tour (even with horrific January weather) and Amy was just so helpful through the whole planning process.

The wine tasting evening a couple of months before was such a fun and special evening (great atmosphere and lots of amazing wines to try).

Setting up the day before was a really lovely, relaxed experience (and we loved the fact you had the venue for 3 days). Sitting down with Jackie and Liv to do a run through of everything at the end of the day meant we had no nerves or worries at all.

On the wedding day the team made everything run so smoothly from start to finish. From a ridiculous pre-6am start for Jackie who let us into the prepping parlour first thing, to us being given a lift back to our cottage in the village once all the guests had gone home at the end of the night. Just the best!

All of our guests absolutely loved the venue and having all the different areas was amazing (the games room was never empty!).

We felt so looked after and honestly loved every second of the lead up and the day itself. Thank you so much Jackie, Liv, Amy, Phil (the best MC!), Jamie and Harvey (and not forgetting the peacocks!). Most amazing team and venue ever!

We got married at Southlands Barn in August 2024. We found them at a wedding fair arranged to go to the Barn and when we got there immediately fell in love with it.
The setting is perfect, the barns are stunning. The staff could not be any friendlier or more helpful. They put us at ease and helped make the day run as smoothly as possible as well as making it special.

We got married at Southlands Barn in July and we could not recommend it more! The whole weekend was hands down the best weekend of our lives and that all started with picking Southlands Barn!

From the moment we chose Southlands as our venue, the whole process was so easy and the team went above and beyond to ensure the wedding was exactly how we wished it to be. The wine tasting event was a real added bonus which made us feel even more excited for the big day and was a wonderful chance to show our friends and family the venue.

The entire team made everything run like clockwork on the day yet also somehow made it feel casual and completely stress free for us both from start to finish. They thought of little touches and details which hadn't even crossed our mind.

We particularly loved sharing a boogie with some of the staff on the dance floor at the end of the night! So many guests have commented on how wonderful the venue and staff were and we couldn't agree more.

The morning after the wedding the staff put on a lovely breakfast for some of our guests which was the perfect way to debrief on the night before and was such a fun addition to the whole weekend.

The venue is so beautiful and well equipped. It's so nice to hang out at the venue, which we did the day before when setting up.

I struggle to put into words just how incredible Southlands Barn and the team are! I always knew I wanted to get married at Southlands and me and my partner fell in love with the venue as soon as we stepped through the door. What makes the venue is the incredible family feel, each one of the team make you feel like your wedding is the only one taking place at southlands. They cannot do enough for you. The venue itself is stunning every facility is in perfect condition as if there hasn’t been a wedding there previous to yours. The venue has stunning picture opportunities and flexibility to make it the day of your dreams, it has a lovely relaxed feel and as it’s already so stunning doesn’t require too much decor. Liv, Jackie, Phil, Harvey, Jamie and Amy are the most genuine, kind and down to earth people. They make you feel so special and go above and beyond to make your wedding day incredible.
