Steeped in history the medieval Priory constructed with local Ragstone, was founded in 1253 by Sir John Mansell Lord Chief Justice of England and Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports to Henry III. Once owned by Mary I, Queen of England and Ireland, Bilsington Priory stands as a timeless witness to England’s rich heritage.
Your magical ceremony awaits
Choose from our stunning indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces, each offering a unique and romantic setting for up to 100 guests. Exchange vows beneath the charming checkered board gazebo, surrounded by the picturesque priory grounds. Or, step inside the historic Priory Room, where timeless architecture and an intimate atmosphere create the perfect backdrop for your special moment.
After your ceremony, relax with refreshments and enjoy fun games in our stunning new tree marquee. This beautiful space effortlessly combines nature and elegance, creating the perfect setting for a memorable celebration. Invite your guests to celebrate in the elegant tree marquee, offering stunning views of the grounds. Dance the night away to your favourite songs played by our in-house DJ, included in your package. The tree marquee benefits from an adjoining bar, keeping all the entertainment in one place to create a lively atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing wedding venue!
With just three months to organize our wedding the team helped guide us through the process, make suggestions and on the day everything ran so smoothly. We didn't have to worry about any of the logistics and knew everything was in safe hands.
The food that we chose was delicious for both the wedding breakfast and evening and there were great options to choose from.
