Everything about our day was just as we hoped for, and Sarah and Nina and the whole catering team were so helpful and positive. We were able to set up the day before, the catering service was exceptional and the food was delicious. All our friends said how personal it all felt, and how friendly all the staff were. Both venues (St As and Malthouse) looked beautiful and we were able to have lovely photos taken in the grounds. There is also a lot of freedom to decorate and put your own personal stamp on things. Sarah saved the day, as our DJ pulled put two days before our wedding, and was able to sort us out with an amazing sound system. Would wholeheartedly recommend!

We had a small intimate wedding at Howfield in December… the venue was perfect… 30 guests and it felt like a large family gathering and lunch! Cosey mulled wine besides the oak fireplace with Christmas songs playing! The wedding (Oak) room was perfect for our numbers, light, bright and airy, whilst also cosy too! The grounds provided some awesome locations for photos, both for us as the couple, for our group, and also for twilight photos with sparkers! The staff were so attentive to our every need on the day, and Muriel so helpful with her planning and advice. We would absolutely recommend Howfield Manor!

Right from our first visit we knew St Martin's Priory was the perfect venue for us. The rooms are beautiful and give a real feeling for the history of Canterbury. The gardens are amazing, perfect for entertaining and the all-important pictures. We really were blown away from our first visit. Alessandro and his team are great and made it so easy to make the day our own. They liaised with all of our suppliers and everything went off without a hitch.... well, at least one hitch but that was the point in us being there! We were able to have the wedding just as we had imagined, thanks to the team at St Martin’s Priory, who accommodated our very laid back and not so traditional ideas for the day. It was the best day ever, and we just want to go back and do it all again, and we honestly would not change a thing! Cannot recommend Winters Barns, Chives or Alberrys enough. Had an absolute fantastic day & nothing could have been done differently to make it better. So many of our family & friends have told us it was the best wedding by a long shot. Thank you all!

We cannot thank you and the team at Canterbury Cathedral Lodge enough for playing your part in making our day so special. The venue and location speaks for itself, however on top of this the attention to detail and the amount of effort that the whole team at the lodge put into making our day so memorable was really appreciated. From the very first appointment to view the venue until the moment we left nothing was too much trouble – you and the team made everything such an easy process. The organisation, catering and the staff were fabulous. So many of our guests complimented us on finding such an amazing venue, with many complimenting on the high quality of the catering provided. We had the most fantastic time and will remember if forever.

Is is a real family run venue, friendly, helpful, relaxed. It was so lovely to be somewhere totally unique and the garden is a real gem.
