Woodland and Festival Wedding Venues in Kent

So many people have commented that the venue absolutely made the day, from the ceremony space to the swing sofas to the campfire and lighting, and the treehouse was a hit with all groups! The campers thought the tipis were great and lots of our friends asked how we’d found such a wonderful place. We loved the bridal suite too and especially waking up in the cool of the morning.

Getting married at the Oak Grove was the most incredible experience. Majestic trees stood tall, and the ground was dappled with sunlight at this picturesque venue. Once married under the jasmine arbour arch, we drunk carefully curated cocktails and danced the night away in their triple-hat tipi. The venue was magical and the staff even more so. The owners were lovely and had great energy. Tracy, our fairy godmother and coordinator extraordinaire, went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. She kept our stress low, reassured us and gave invaluable advice. The staff on the day were friendly and it felt as though the whole team really cared. There were no hidden costs and even some cute extras, like eco-friendly dried lavender confetti, candles and lawn games. They even helped organise our sparkler send-off and it turned out even better than we could've hoped for. The excellent experience didn't stop once we'd married, they stayed in touch making sure some lost items were returned to us. I couldn't have wished for a better venue or a better team. Our wedding day at Kingdom exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we first visited Kingdom, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. The beautiful countryside, the Clubhouse and the relaxed atmosphere instantly made us feel at home. And on the the day itself, everything came together perfectly and it honestly felt magical. Our #1 highlight was having our ceremony outdoors in the Seven Sisters. Standing beneath the trees on the platform, surrounded by nature and everyone we love, felt so special and personal. And being able to have our dogs there with us too as part of the cerenony meant the world and made the day feel very special. The venue captured exactly the relaxed and natural vibe we had hoped for. Everywhere you look, there is something beautiful to take in, from the views across the valley to the rustic charm of the Clubhouse. Our guests loved how different Kingdom felt from a traditional venue. We were so happy with the food and drink options on offer and they were exactly what we wanted. We chose Kingdom bites for the drinks reception and loved having free flowing Aperol and Pimm’s along with beers and soft drinks. It created the perfect summer drinks reception on the rooftop under the canopy. The food for the wedding breakfast was amazing, there was so much of it and so many guests commented on how lovely everything was. We especially loved the sharing style of the meal, which was really important to us and helped keep the relaxed and communal feel of the day. In the evening we had the food truck serving gyros, which went down an absolute treat and was such a great way to round off the night. The team at Kingdom were fantastic from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, helpful and genuinely cared about making sure our day was perfect. Everything felt calm and effortless, which meant we could just enjoy it all without any stress. For us, one of the nicest things about choosing Kingdom is knowing we can keep visiting, whether it is for a coffee at the cafe, a walk, a parkrun or a sauna. It is so lovely that the place where we got married is somewhere we can keep coming back to so casually. We could not have asked for a more beautiful, meaningful or memorable place to celebrate our wedding. Kingdom will always hold such a special place in our hearts and we would recommend it to any couple looking for a venue that feels natural, relaxed and full of warmth.

From our first walk around at The Dreys, we knew this was the venue for our wedding. Jackie and Dave have gone above and beyond to create a hidden gem. As you walk through the woods you are blown away by what you see! The space itself is perfect! Having a seperate dining room and dance floor is great so nobody has to be hurried out. The woodlands themselves are beautiful! I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone. Thank you again to Jackie and Dave! Great communication throughout, always willing to help, and just very nice people! We feel lucky that we could use your beautiful venue for our special day!

We recently had our wedding at Longton Wood. It's a great 'blank canvas' for those of you ready to do the wedding planning on your own. What is provided (showers, toilets, lighting etc) is very good. Also had a campfire built for us - handy! Would recommend for those couples looking for a quiet and cosy woodland wedding.

Thoroughly recommend Birling Estate and the Manor Gardens for a wedding, reception or event. We worked with Julie to create a wonderful evening wedding reception, enjoying the beautiful grounds, the amazing view and the fantastic tipi. They are a joy to work with and the venue is stunning.
