We had our wedding reception at Nursted Court, following our church wedding at St Mildred's, in September 2025.

It was the day of our dreams! There's literally nothing we would change. The whole team at Nurstead Court were amazing and we cannot recommend them enough. Nothing was too much trouble in the run up to our day, during or after. I'm sure the team had something to do with the double rainbow that appeared in the evening. The food was also exceptional.

Our guests commented that Nurstead is one of the best venues they've been too.

Everyone at Nurstead was so helpful, from arranging a viewing to the big day! Annabelle and Megan were so helpful throughout! Even with my silly question through emails.
Our day was perfect from start to finish and couldn’t have wished for a better day! Just wish that we could do it all over again!

We got married at Nurstead Court nearly two weeks ago now and it was the PERFECT day. From the very first meeting we knew we had made the right choice, Annabelle is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The whole period leading up to the big day was stress free which is exactly what we wanted. The afternoon before and the morning of Annabelle and Megan were there making sure everything was set up how we wanted it.

On the day of the wedding Megan was our Co-ordinator, and we honestly can’t thank her enough for all her hard work – she was calm, organised, and always one step ahead, making sure everyone was where they needed to be and that we could enjoy every moment. She even guided us to the best photo spots around the venue so we captured memories we’ll treasure forever.

It truly was the best day of our lives and we are so grateful. We can't recommend Nurstead and the team enough to anyone looking for a beautiful, stress-free and unforgettable wedding venue.

Thank you all for giving us a magical fairy tale wedding. The cottage was a cosy setting for a bride and bridesmaids to prepare. The house and gardens were superb, the house was beautiful and the gardens blooming. The catering was delicious and we did notice all the hard work and effort Lee went in to providing the vegetarian options, from the canapes right through to the evening barbeque. All the waiting staff were friendly and efficient. Lee in charge of the evening entertainment was spot on with the playlists. And last but not least Carol’s breakfast the following morning was a perfect way to end our wonderful stay at Nurstead Court.
Above all Annabelle we would like to thank you for everything you did to help us organise our wedding, for those endless emails I sent to you, for all your help on the day, and letting us enjoy the beauty of your family home on our special day. Thank you so much.

Thank you all for making our wedding such a special occasion. Everything was just perfect, our guests had a wonderful time and were very complimentary of the lovely atmosphere, friendliness of our staff and delicious food. It was a day to remember. Thank you again.

Dear Annabelle and Sally
Alison and I would like to thank you very much for all your help in making our wedding on 29 July 2017 at Nurstead Court just as we hoped it would be. Many of our guests have written to us saying the venue was perfect, beautiful and elegant which is why we chose Nurstead Court.

Alison and her sister enjoyed getting ready in Stable Cottage and Alison and I thoroughly enjoyed our cooked breakfasts – so a big thank you to Carol

Also one of your staff (was it Sue ?) helped me with my buttonhole which I was very grateful for as I was worried about getting it right.

The whole event went so well and you and all your staff who look after Nurstead Court should be so proud.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you for everything, our day was absolutely perfect on the 28th August it couldn't have gone any better! The whole team at Nurstead are fantastic from serving the food & the staff behind the bar everyone made our day the special day that it was. Everyone commented on how amazing the place was & what a lovely atmosphere it has.

Hi Annabelle,

Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for Saturday.
It was the most perfect day, from start to finish, the weather being the start of it, then the setting, and then the ceremony, and the reception in the lovely marquee afterwards.
Everything went like clockwork, all the guests remarked on the lovely food and the organisation of your staff and just how professional they were.
A real team, and Pops was the trooper behind the bar for sure!!! A great time was had by all, the only downside being it had to end ?
It was a pleasure dealing with you and it won’t stop there, as I am thinking of having my next birthday celebration at Nurstead next year.

We had to write to you to say a huge THANK YOU for putting on such a fantastic day for us! All of your staff were absolutely great and the day was perfect - there wasn't a single thing we would have changed about it.
You were so accommodating and understanding with all of our requests and it really made the difference as the day turned out exactly as we wanted it to be so we can't thank you enough!
