Reached by a tree-lined drive in Fawkham, Brandshatch Place is a Georgian mansion set within 12 acres of Kent parkland and grounds.

Built in 1806 for the Duke of Norfolk, the red-brick house combines period rooms with the self-contained Terrace Suite. Weddings can continue into the evening for up to 150 guests, with 38 bedrooms and a Health Club and Spa on site.

The hotel's largest wedding space features mirrored details and a wall of double doors filling the room with natural light. With its own entrance, foyer, bar and access to the courtyard, the Terrace Suite can host every stage of your day.

The Oak Room

Capacity: 80 for a ceremony or 40 for a wedding breakfast
Best suits: Elegant ceremonies and intimate dining

Painted oak-panelled walls, vintage gold frames and views across the grounds give this room a sophisticated country house atmosphere.
