My husband and I got married at Eastwell Manor in October 2024, and it was everything we dreamed of and more. From the moment we arrived, we were swept away by the breathtaking grounds, the elegant manor, and the warm, welcoming staff who made us feel like royalty.

The entire day was simply magical. The ceremony setting was so romantic – full of charm and character – and the reception felt like something out of a dream. Every detail was perfectly taken care of, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and they truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly.

After getting engaged on my 40th birthday, we decided we wanted a Christmas wedding and wanted to plan it within a year. We had Eastwell Manor as one of our venue choices and after viewing it in December 23 (when it was decorated for Xmas) we completely knew it was ‘the one!’. Throughout the year of planning, Dawn and Helen were amazing. Responded to emails etc quickly, helped wherever needed, and it was lovely to have a menu tasting session in a private room. I stayed in the bridal suite the night before. A few of us had dinner in the bar which was very relaxing. The room/suite was beautiful. The bath was amazing (see photos) and I had a lovely morning getting ready for the day ahead. Our wedding was so special. To be surrounded by our guests in such a fabulous venue so beautifully decorated for Christmas, it was magical. Everyone said how great it was. The food taste delicious and was presented well. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. My husband and I stayed in the bridal suite that night and it was just great. I would 100% recommend this venue. We got married in August 2024 and we had the most stress-free and beautiful wedding. It was raining on the day and our Plan A was for the ceremony to be outside, but on the day it had to be changed to Plan B. The Eastwell Manor team handled the change of plans with such ease, I didn't have to worry about a thing and the end result was better than our original plan! The wedding coordinators at Eastwell Manor are incredibly organised and professional. Jim, the Toastmaster, is an absolute delight and really brought the crowd together. The food was excellent and the tent outside was beautiful at night. We had a beautiful day and are eternally grateful to the team at Eastwell manor for looking after us so well. The rooms are stunning to stay in and the bridal suite is absolutely gorgeous to get ready in with your bridesmaids.

From the first visit we knew Eastwell was the perfect venue for us, from the great layout of the venue to its fantastic facilities, beautiful rooms and ceremony spaces.

We got married at Eastwell Manor on 7th July 2024. We thought we would be guaranteed sunshine but it did slightly rain in the morning of the wedding.

We had planned to get married outside on the lawns but the weather changed that, so we opted for the internal room. We had 90 guests and the room was packed with a string quartet and couldn’t have been more beautiful - when it was a plan b back up.

Luckily the sun then came out and we managed to have our first kiss and confetti moment out on the lawn as planned.

We had our wedding breakfast in the outdoor marquee which was stunning.

The venue was just overwhelmingly beautiful and just as we imagined our wedding day would be. Having all the options throughout the day gave us such a varied wedding day with loads of stunning photos. We wanted to make the most of what the venue had to offer.

We visited Eastwell Manor when looking for venues and instantly fell in love with it. The grounds are so impressive and the inside very homely and comfortable. The wedding team are extremely helpful and professional and helped make our day perfect. The rooms are all lovely, particularly in the manor house and all guests were very happy with them. Particular thanks to Helen, Dawn, Tracey and Chris for the lead up to our big day and for coordinating our day so well without any issues. The food tasting was amazing and had a real personal touch and the food was very well executed on the day with no delays and again our guests have been saying how much they enjoyed it. Our toastmaster Jim was fantastic and also ensured our day went perfectly. Thank you to all of those behind the scenes in the kitchen and the efficient staff who assisted with the wedding breakfast and bar in the evening. Would highly recommend this venue.

We had the best day! The team are amazing and can’t do enough to help. A special thank you to Helen for all of your help to plan our big day, Chris for all of your hard work on the day and Jim, the toastmaster, who was absolutely brilliant and looked after all of our guests. Harry and Olex also looked after us throughout our stay.
Everything went like clockwork from start to finish, with wonderful food and great rooms.

We first came and looked at Eastwell Manor back in January as a potential venue and we both fell in love with it. We wanted our ceremony to be held in the Rose garden which once summer arrived, we knew would look absolutely stunning, with all plants and flowers in full bloom.
We Sat down with Helen and went through what dates would be available, and booked it from there.
We popped back a few times to get a feel for the rest of the venue and asked if we could view the bridal suite. This in itself is absolutely breathtaking. And has a really cute little room for children to stay with you, if you so desire.

The venue itself has plenty of character, and alot of little places for fantastic photos.

We stayed the night before and had a lovely meal, with fantastic service.

Fast forward to the day, weather sadly was debatable, and beyond our control. The outside area was dressed for us, and right up until the last moment, we planned on having the ceremony outside, but that wasn't meant to be, the heavens opened and it had to be moved inside, where Helen and the team stepped up to dress the room for the ceremony. So a massive thankyou for doing so.

The wedding breakfast went off without a hitch.
The only real criticism we had was the wait between course's, fully appreciate when serving 50 plus guests this is tricky, but we found our guests wandering off during the wait.

The rest of the day went off without any real problems, the team at Eastwell are brilliant, we cannot fault them, and any issues presented to them, seemed to get resolved in a very quick and timely manner.

Sadly, we did have take make a complaint, we were advised that we would be moving rooms at some point whilst getting ready from where we had stayed to the bridal suite, to finish getting ready. The room wasn't available, so during the ceremony, our stuff that was all over the room we was in, was gathered up and started to be moved.
This got stopped, but to be told this whilst your getting ready to greet your guests, is quite concerning, so Jim the Toast Master, had to step in and resolve it to take the worry from us.

This caused alot of confusion, and things got mixed up, so when it came to us, going to our room to freshen up after the photos and wedding breakfast, we had people knocking continuously to collect belongings they were missing. So a slight misunderstanding there.

But now to the positives, the Staff are fantastic, incredibly friendly and very responsive to all questions and queries, and we would obviously like to say a massive thank you to them for the wonderful service we received even when we were sitting outside till the small hours of the morning. We didn't feel rushed to vacate, and go to bed. They just carried on clearing and preparing for the next day's wedding.

Helen, you really did help make our day very special, we are truly grateful.

Also, we really would like to thank Jim, our Toast Master for the day. This guy is really something else. Incredibly helpful, absolutely fantastic with us and our guests, played along with our joke on the mother of the bride Doris, Wound up our best man as requested, and did everything in his control to keep the day running smoothly and our guests entertained. So if you decide to book with Eastwell Manor, make sure you have this guy by your side! Hes a real credit.

I highly recommend this venue to any couple wishing to get married, it really is a remarkable place, along with a remarkable team who are willing to help day and night.

After postponing our wedding and even losing our original venue due to Covid, we knew that finding an alternative that we loved just as much was going to be tough. Eastwell Manor is every bit as beautiful as the photos suggest, and after visiting, we knew we’d found the perfect place for us immediately.
The Maid’s Garden fit our dreams of an outdoor ceremony perfectly with its ivy-lined walls, manicured lawns, pond and Italian gazebo. The terrace with its views overlooking the endless grounds was the ideal space for our reception drinks and canapés, especially on a blue-skied day in June. The wood-panelled Rose Garden Room made the perfect setting for an intimate wedding breakfast with 80 of our closest friends and family. The room was transformed for the evening reception with fairy lights (put up very kindly, and at short notice, by the venue staff) candles and a DJ, with the neighbouring Chaucer Room serving as our bar and a slightly more relaxed setting for our guests. During the evening we also held a barbecue on the terrace as the sun went down with plenty of food for everyone to enjoy.
It’s worth adding that with so much accommodation available in the Manor House and Mews, it really had the feel of a destination wedding. Friends and family were able to stay on-site for a long weekend, giving us the chance to celebrate with them the night before and all enjoy the fabulous spa facilities the day after.
We can’t emphasise enough that all of this was made possible by the outstanding team at Eastwell Manor, who literally could not have done anything more to ensure that we had the best day of our lives. They really did go above and beyond and made us both feel as if the entire hotel was our home for the day. This extends far beyond the exceptional wedding and events team. From the bar and waiting staff always happy and willing to help, to the reception staff that were on-hand at all hours and the incredible chefs that served the best wedding food we have ever had (our guests still talk about the beef!). Helen and Jasmine were a dream to work with, being flexible with all of our requests and doing everything they could to make sure that all of our ideas were realised on the day. A special mention has to go to Chris - an absolute asset to the Eastwell team, he worked tirelessly to ensure everything went without a hitch on the day, and all while looking cool, calm and collected. You really are in excellent hands with this team!

Where do we begin?

Eastwell Manor went above and beyond for our wedding. They were only too happy to help when we had to rearrange our wedding date as a result of covid interrupting our plans.

The venue itself was the one. We fell in love with it as soon as we drove up the long tree lined drive up to the grand entrance. The place is a perfect combination of castle-like grandeur and classy opulence. The inside and outside spaces are equally magical and the catering team provided a delicious wedding breakfast and hot evening buffet.

The events team at Eastwell Manor, of which we had the most communications with Helen, were exceptional. They are a credit to the hotel, and made our wedding day just incredible. They covered every small detail, were very professional and personable. Thank you Jasmine, Helen, Chris, Tracey - just to name a few of the many people who made our wedding special.

Last but not least, Jim the Toastmaster is such an asset to Eastwell Manor. He gels the whole day together, makes sure everyone has a great time, and made everyone laugh at our wedding. He genuinely loves his job and this can be felt from the very first time you chat with him.

We have made such precious memories at Eastwell Manor with our friends and family. We will certainly be back for anniversaries, spa days and afternoon tea!
