Set within the heart of the Leeds Castle estate, The Castle offers a truly memorable setting for a historic wedding in Kent. Surrounded by beautiful parkland, gardens and its iconic moat, this magnificent castle venue combines centuries of history with elegant interiors, exceptional hospitality and unforgettable views.
From the moment your guests arrive and see Leeds Castle rising majestically above the water, they will be immersed in the atmosphere of this unique castle wedding venue. Inside, the newly refurbished Ceremony Room provides a beautiful backdrop for your vows, with natural light flooding through the long French windows and soft, elegant décor creating a romantic and tranquil setting.
Following your ceremony, celebrate with your guests in the Castle’s spectacular State Rooms before capturing unforgettable photographs across the estate. A private golf buggy is available to transport you and your photographer around the grounds, with the Castle, moat, gardens and parkland providing a variety of stunning wedding photography locations.
Your wedding breakfast will be served in The Salon, the largest room within the Castle. Featuring views across the moat and surrounding parkland, a grand 16th-century French Caen stone fireplace and magnificent ebony flooring, this elegant space provides a beautiful backdrop for your celebrations.
As the evening continues, move into the opulent 1930s Castle Drawing Rooms for drinks, dancing and celebrations with your closest friends and family. At the end of the evening, retreat to your luxurious Castle bedroom and continue your wedding experience within this historic setting.

Services Offered
Our experienced wedding coordinators will support you throughout your wedding planning journey, helping you create a celebration that reflects your style and vision. A dedicated duty manager and team of footmen will also be on hand throughout your wedding day to ensure every detail runs smoothly.
Your wedding package includes venue hire, tables and chairs for your ceremony and wedding breakfast, a PA system for speeches, a silver cake stand and knife, a Leeds Castle post box for wedding cards and complimentary parking for your guests.
Our list of approved catering suppliers offers flexibility and choice, allowing you to select a catering style that suits your celebration. From your wedding breakfast through to evening refreshments, our team will work with you to create a memorable dining experience.
Accommodation
Enjoy the convenience of staying within the Castle itself with accommodation available for you and your guests. Your wedding package includes a luxurious Castle Bridal State Bedroom, along with additional Castle bedrooms for guests including breakfast.
For larger celebrations, further accommodation options are available across the estate, including Stable Courtyard bedrooms, Lakeside Lodges and holiday cottages, subject to availability.
By staying at Leeds Castle, you and your guests can continue celebrating beyond your wedding day, with residential guests also able to explore the Castle and grounds the following day.

A Truly Magical Wedding at Leeds Castle
What impressed us most, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly professional, helpful and attentive. Katie was always so responsive and quick to get back to us throughout the planning process. On the wedding day, everything ran so smoothly and seamlessly — we truly felt that we were in the safest hands and could simply relax and enjoy our day.
The experience didn’t end with the wedding either. Having breakfast in the castle the next morning, with the beautiful morning sun coming into the dining room, was such a special memory. Most of our guests stayed overnight, so we were also able to enjoy a relaxed Sunday exploring the stunning grounds and attractions together with our family and friends.
Leeds Castle gave us and our guests so many wonderful memories that we will treasure forever. We honestly couldn’t recommend it more highly!
A dream wedding at Leeds Castle
The venue itself is absolutely stunning, but what made the whole experience even better was the team. We planned the wedding ourselves with no previous experience, so at the beginning we were quite nervous about whether we could manage everything. From our first viewing through to the wedding day, the Leeds Castle team were always professional, friendly and very helpful.
They supported us through every stage of the planning, answered our questions quickly and helped us with all the small details. We always felt that our ideas and requests were listened to and taken seriously.
The package they offered us also worked really well within our budget, and having our wedding at Leeds Castle was worth every penny.
Everything on the wedding day ran very smoothly. The team worked really well with our caterers and florist, and both we and our guests felt very well looked after. Our guests who stayed overnight at the Castle also had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed the hospitality.
A special thank you to Katie, who supported us throughout the whole planning process. She was always quick to respond, gave us very useful advice and often thought ahead about things we had not considered ourselves.
For us and our guests, the whole experience was truly unforgettable. We feel very lucky to have celebrated our wedding at Leeds Castle and would happily recommend it to other couples.

During every stage of the planning process, the team at Leeds Castle provided the best guidance and support, you truly felt you were in good hands. On the day, the events management team was outstanding and took exceptional care of us and all our guests - every detail was flawless, and we truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. The whole occasion was everything we dreamed of, and it honestly felt so perfect that we wish we could relive it all over again!

We moved our service outside in the day and it was no trouble and done as we needed. Chris our butler was discreet but there for anything we needed.
This location is a must to view and you will book as soon as you do.

The most amazing day!
It suited us so well, it's beautiful and full of character.
We chose to get married outside under the 'Bower' but ceremonies can also take place inside.
It was perfect as we and our guests could stay there for 3 nights, so it felt very comfortable and the accommodation was outstanding.
We were able to dress it personally for the wedding with beautiful floristry.
The venue is intimate with both inside and outside seating areas.
We had so many compliments on our choice of venue, some stating it was the best wedding they'd ever been to!
