We had the best wedding at The Darenth! Jason and Sarah looked after us and our guests so well and made sure everything went smoothly. The food was amazing, the jollof rice and goat curry were a real hit with everyone. Thank you to the team for making our day so special!

From the moment we first stepped into The Darenth two years ago, we knew we’d found our wedding venue, and not just because of how stunning it is (which it absolutely is), but because of the exceptional team behind it. From start to finish, the customer service was nothing short of 5 stars, honestly, we’d give more if we could. Every question, every email, every tiny detail was handled with care and professionalism that made the whole planning process feel exciting and stress-free.

Now, let’s talk about the actual wedding day, because WOW. Everything ran like clockwork, and that’s 100% down to the amazing Jason and Sarah. They were with us every step of the way, making sure everything was perfect, and it truly was. Jason in particular was an absolute legend (hopefully this doesn’t go to his head). Not only did he keep everything under control, but he also kept us laughing all day. (He’s got jokes, trust us!) At one point we weren’t sure if he was running our wedding or auditioning for stand-up, either way, we were here for it!

One of the most special moments for us, though, was how Jason went out of his way to include our son, who has ADHD. During the speeches, Jason gave him the very important role of announcing the next speaker, a small gesture that meant the world to us. To see our son feel involved, important, and totally part of the day brought tears to our eyes. That kind of thoughtfulness is something you can’t plan for, and it showed how much heart this team truly has.

The Darenth didn’t just host our wedding, they made it unforgettable. We cannot thank Kerry, Jason, Sarah, and the entire team enough. If you’re looking for a venue that’s not only beautiful but genuinely cares about you, your family, and your big day, look no further. We’ll be singing their praises forever.

We had our wedding at the Darenth on the 25th May 2025.

Its hard to know where to begin, but we couldn't recommend The Darenth enough. The venue is beautiful, in a beautiful town with easy transport. The venue meticulously setup by the staff and exactly how we imagined. Not a single error made

I want to make a special mention to both Jason and Sarah who really are amazing people. Ourselves and our family friends have spoken many times just how well we felt looked after on the day. As a bride and groom it's your day, but knowing your family is in good hands and seeing how happy they are, was just the icing on the cake. Nothing was a problem for either of them, they just got it done.

The experience and personalities they brought to our wedding took it up another level and we are so happy to have had them as part of our special day

As a groom being greeted by a beer upon arrival definitely helped with the nerves and maybe even the speech later on 😁

The food, both wedding breakfast and evening buffet was incredible, not one complaint in house i mean i dont know the chefs names are, but whoever they are, thank you.

Honest, if you are looking to get married i cannot urge you any more to go visit the team, see the venue.

Our wedding experience was absolutely perfect! Everything was so well organised, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Communication throughout the entire process was excellent, making the day completely stress-free. Highly recommended!

I cannot recommend the Darenth more. The staff were absolutely incredible, we could not have wanted for more on our day. We were never without a drink, and nothing was too much of an ask. The staff were so friendly to our guests, and really created a relaxed environment. Leading up to the ceremony they made us feel so relaxed and they were very informative. Jason, Kerry, Sarah, Louise and everyone at the Darenth, thank you so much for making our day so special!

We found The Darenth when looking for a venue for our twilight wedding. We wanted our wedding to truly reflect us as a couple and where we could be flexible with how the day would go.

When we went to see The Darenth, not only was the venue stunningly beautiful, inside and out, there was a warmth to the place and the team were so friendly and very helpful. From the moment we contacted the team, Lucy was our main contact and couldn’t help us enough. Despite the number of weddings held here, we felt special throughout as if our special day was the main focus for them all. Lucy was great with all the details, understanding what we wanted and offering help and support without pushing anything.

On the day, Jason was amazing at managing the day - making sure we had time to ourselves but that the day ran exactly as we wanted. He was also very supportive and did a great job putting us at ease when we were nervous leading up to the ceremony. The whole team were thoughtful and looked after us all day, making sure we had food and drink and anything else we needed. All our guests commented on how wonderful the staff were and it allowed us to truly focus on enjoying our day. Leigh and Kerry were also fantastic on the day, couldn’t be more helpful.

We had an amazing day, everything went exactly as we hoped and better. A massive part of that was down to The Darenth and their incredible team - we couldn’t recommend highly enough!

From the moment you walk into The Darenth we were made to feel comfortable. We were taken on a tour of the venue and booked there and then In October 2022 for September 2023. The staff were knowledgable and professional which is what made us book this venue.

Communication was always good throughout, we visited several times with different family members and the staff were alway welcoming. As an older couple we wanted that relaxed but professional day and this is what we got.

The venue is amazedly clean and beautiful with views of the golf course. We was lucky even to get married outside and the outside area is amazing but the staff make this place and your day the best it could be.

We dealt with Kerrie and Jason mainly but everyone we had dealings with were great. Jason ran the day and he was brilliant, I love a bit of banter and he was excellent and even made it fun when I was so nervous 😊 there was also a lady that run the evening (sorry I can’t remember her name) she was also really good making sure everything was ok and stayed until the last guest left. One thing they did do was made sure the bride and groom kept topped up with drinks all day and night again a nice touch, I didn’t visit the bar once 😀

The food was amazing and everyone commenting on how good the food was. We had 9 children and they even did a 3 course for them with milk or lemonade for the toast which was a lovely little touch and made the children part of the day.

The only thing I would have liked would be to have a dressing room on site for the wedding day rather than travelling from elsewhere but that’s my personal view.

We got married at this beautiful venue 11.08.23 and cannot recommend enough!! Everyone commented saying how perfect the day was, and every detail was covered by the amazing staff!! Nothing is ever too much to ask - we want to do it all over again!! Massive thanks especially to Jason, Kirsty & Kerry!! My go to people on the day and leading up to the wedding! But every member of staff were just amazing and on the ball with everything. Thank you from a very happy couple 🤍

I couldn’t recommend this venue enough. From the day we walked into the darenth to view this venue we have always felt so welcomed and wanted. They couldn’t do anymore to help us as they went above and beyond. The venue is absolutely stunning from the outside to the inside 💕 myself and my husband would like the thank each and everyone of the staff here at the darenth no words can explain how much you made our dream become a reality 💕 we shall be booking to come back for our yearly anniversary. My Wife & I would firstly like to thank Jason for his professionalism, humour, and his skill in dealing with things in real time which put both of us at ease as well as all of our guests.

The catering staff on the day were magnificent and very caring towards us all.

Another plus was the generous of food which all guests appreciated, from the Canopes, Wedding Breakfast & Evening Buffet.

The only issue we did have is that it was agreed that we would have Jallof Rice with the Curry Goat & Fried Fish, but ending up having Rice & Peas with the Curry Goat.

The Jallof Rice being an African dish & Curry Goat being Carribean would have been excellent as we had them at our planning meeting 5 weeks before the Wedding.

The big disappointment was the performance of the in house DJ (Chelmer Discos).

The fact that we could not select our own DJ made us nervous about the music, hence we kept confirming whether the DJ had experience of performing for a mainly Afro Caribbean crowd.

We were advised that this was not an issue, and it turns out according to DJ that he lacks expertise with Afro Beats, Soco & Reggae.

We also asked for the love sign to be displayed as a backdrop in the Ballroom before the Wedding Ceremony commenced which was agreed upon by Chelmer Discos, however it arrived after 19.00.

When we tried to ascertain why the love sign was not delivered at the time agreed, and also, why the music was not mixed as appose to just playing tracks that we emailed to him.

In response we received a rude & threatening email from the in house DJ - Jimmy.

We both loved having our Wedding at The Darenth and all our guests have all commented on how brilliant it was & they loved Jason.

We celebrated our wedding day at the darenth on Thursday 25th may.
I can not fault our experience at all. From start to finish Jason/Kerry & the team made our day perfect.

Just had my wedding at The Darenth and what an amazing experience it was from start to finish. The staff are all fantastic they made me feel very special on my day. They kept us informed throughout the day with everything that was happening and are all so good at their jobs. The food was amazing and got so many compliments from our guests as did the stunning venue. Special shout out to Jason who was our rock during the day.

Fabulous venue, immaculately decorated. Kerry, Jason and the team were so kind and professional. I have worked at most venues being a wedding florist, but The Darenth was my choice. We had a beautiful day and they treated my guests like family. I will be recommending them to all my brides

We got married here 2/12/22 and had an amazing day. Everything went to plan. The venue is gorgeous and the team looked after our every need. Jason especially made sure we had everything we needed and a drink in our hand throughout the day. The day went so quick and we wish we could do it all over again. Maybe again in 10 years time.

We got married yesterday at this fantastic venue. Jason and his team were absolutely amazing! The day ran smoothly and without any problems. The ceremony room and reception room are clean and sophisticated and we had the most perfect wedding. The honeymoon suite is stunning. Thank you so much to you all! Would highly recommend.
