The elegant gazebo is nestled within the landscaped grounds and provides an unforgettable setting to exchange vows. Before walking down the aisle, you will pass the tranquil lake and breathtaking waterfall with your bridal party.

The Best Venue!

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue than The Orangery 🤍

From the very beginning, the team were absolutely incredible. They were so helpful, responsive, and always on hand to answer any questions we had (and we had a lot!). Every message was answered so quickly, which made the whole planning process feel smooth and stress-free.

What really stood out was how they guided us through every step in such detail. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure both Ben and I knew exactly what to expect on the day. It made such a difference and helped us feel completely at ease.

A massive thank you to Kelley, who looked after us throughout the whole planning process. Kelley and the entire team made planning a wedding feel easy and enjoyable, which we’re so grateful for.

On the day itself, everything ran perfectly. The team were constantly there behind the scenes, helping, organising, and making sure everything went to plan without us ever having to worry. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their support meant we could fully relax and enjoy every moment.

The Orangery is not only a stunning venue, but the people who run it truly make it special.

The staff at The Orangery were absolutely amazing from the time of booking right up to our wedding day. They were on hand the whole way through to help and assist with any question no matter how big or small. Kelley who was with us on the day was a total dream, she made sure everything ran smoothly and was there not just as her job but also for support when needed, I don't think we could have gotten through the day without her! I cannot begin to recommend The Orangery enough for a wedding venue, it is beautiful and the staff are AMAZING! Thank you all for making our wedding day so prefect and smooth 🤍

The most perfect wedding day!

The staff at the orangery were all absolutely amazing, polite, helpful and nothing was ever too much. We had Bryony helping us throughout our planning and wedding day and she was such a star!
Anything I asked or questioned was never a problem, the whole day run so smoothly from start to finish. We didn’t have to do anything apart from enjoy our day.
Would 100% recommend this venue, it is absolutely stunning and our photos will be cherished forever!

The Orangery is a stunning venue and really comes to life during the summer. We had a beautiful wedding there in June and we had so many guests compliment how lovely the scenery was. The team at the Orangery are fantastic, so professional that every question asked was answered straight away. The staff also on the day are a great bunch, so friendly and warm. Our contact through out the process and on the day was Kate. She’s so lovely and assuring, she made our day go perfectly and we can’t thank her enough! We are so grateful for everyone at the Orangery.
The price was very reasonable and easy to manage through the app, Sonas. Everything was put through there so everything in one place made life so much easier.

Our Dreamy wedding came true~!

Thank you to The Orangery team! We had a wonderful wedding, and all our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We celebrated our wedding in mid-June and couldn't be happier with the team. Communication was always quick and positive, and they constantly provided excellent professional advice whenever we needed it. Our on-the-day manager, Kelley, was fantastic—she constantly checked in on how we were feeling and worked flawlessly with our bridesmaid to handle last-minute changes on the spot. We trusted them completely!

Our wedding at the Orangery was simply beautiful! The venue is stunning so with many photo opportunities and it’s so lovely having so many different options to get married. The lapa was our favourite place because of the lake but if it were to rain then the garden room was equally lovely so that reduced our stress massively.

We had a few technical issues which were quickly forgotten about and didn’t cause any stress.

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. Emails were not always responded to in a fast manor. I think once you get your manager assigned, there should be a direct email so you can communicate easier. Our manager was on leave at one point but we wasn’t made aware until we sent a few follow up emails. I think if we were to have a direct email, we would have found out sooner via an out of office message and eased the stress slightly.

The food at the venue was amazing, all our guests said how wonderful the food was and how big the portion sizes were. I think the prices of some of the extras are a little steep and not always necessary. For example the drink upgrade, even for soft drinks.

The Sonos website was brilliant and made everything so clear and organised.

We got access to the getting ready room at 7am which was 2 hours early and therefore had to pay £100. I think this was a steep charge, considering we needed to be ready 1 hour before the ceremony which would have been 12pm. So getting ready in 3 hours is not realistic. We also ordered breakfast for the morning, our manager arrived at 8:30 and we were expecting to get breakfast around about that time but it seems it was forgotten about as it got to 10:30 and we still haven’t heard anything about it. Luckily once of our photographers chased and the breakfast was brought out about 20-30 minutes later but by that point, we were close to finishing and the hunger passed. While the bagels were lovely, the pastries were quite hard and at £15 per person, I was very disappointed. If we got the food earlier, it would have been better as it also got in the way of some of our photos.

I would still recommend The Orangery to anyone, the grounds are beautiful, the food was lovely and the staff were really friendly. However I think that some of the additional costs need to be looked at as weddings are expensive enough as it is without paying for silly extras like £3 per person for a different soft drink.

The Orangery, Maidstone – The Wedding Venue of Our Dreams

Where do I even begin?

From the moment we booked The Orangery around four to five years ago, right through to the moment we left as husband and wife, the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional.

Booking our wedding so far in advance could have easily felt daunting, but from day one, the team at The Orangery made us feel supported, valued, and genuinely excited about our wedding journey. They were incredibly accommodating and understanding, allowing us to secure our date years ahead of time and making the planning process feel manageable and stress-free.

One thing we were particularly grateful for was the flexibility around payments. We never had a formal payment plan in place, but the team were always happy for us to pay what we could, when we could. There was never any pressure, never any stress, and they made the entire process feel so easy. Thanks to their flexibility and support, we were able to pay off our wedding well before it was due, which took a huge amount of pressure off us.

Over those years, life happened. We bought a house, welcomed our beautiful daughter, and despite only seeing the venue when we first booked it, we never actually managed to revisit before the wedding day. Yet somehow, we never felt disconnected from the venue.

Through their social media, updates, newsletters, and communication, we were always kept up to date with everything happening at The Orangery. Whether it was improvements to the venue, updates to menus, exclusive viewing days, new additions to the grounds, or changes being made around the venue, we always knew what was going on. For a couple who lived so far away, this meant so much. Their marketing and media team deserve huge credit because they make couples feel connected every step of the way.

The communication throughout our entire wedding journey was genuinely second to none.

Every phone call was answered by friendly, welcoming staff who always seemed genuinely happy to help. Every email was responded to quickly and professionally. Every question was answered. Every concern was addressed. Every detail was noted.

Their online planning system was fantastic and incredibly easy to use. Whether it was making payments, updating guest information, adding extras, removing items, making changes, or checking details, everything was straightforward and accessible. If I ever had an issue or needed help, all I had to do was pick up the phone. The team would look into things immediately and most issues were resolved there and then. If something couldn't be fixed instantly, they always got back to me quickly. I never once felt like I was waiting around for answers or chasing people for updates.

I've heard so many horror stories from couples about wedding venues where communication is poor or where couples struggle to get hold of people. I can honestly say I never experienced any of that with The Orangery. Not once.

I always felt like I was in safe hands.

And then there was our wedding coordinator, Bryony.

What can I say about Bryony other than she was absolutely incredible?

From the moment she became involved, I knew our wedding was going to be looked after by someone who genuinely cared.

As a DIY bride, I brought in my own flowers, decorations, personalised touches, and ideas for the day. Bryony made sure every single detail was exactly how I had imagined it. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

While I was getting ready and couldn't see the room setup myself, she went out of her way to send me photographs and updates so I could see everything coming together. She checked in on me throughout the day, reassured me, kept me updated, and made sure everything was running smoothly behind the scenes.

What stood out most wasn't just how organised she was—it was how much she genuinely cared.

I never felt like another wedding on her schedule.

I never felt like a job.

I felt important.

I felt listened to.

I felt cared for.

She wanted my day to be just as perfect as I did.

There was even a point during the evening where I was taking a breather with my daughter and Bryony sat with me and we just chatted. It didn't feel like speaking to a wedding coordinator. It felt like speaking to a friend.

In fact, that's how I would describe every member of staff at The Orangery.

They don't make you feel like a customer.

They make you feel like family.

When Bryony eventually came to tell me her shift was ending, I was genuinely sad to see her go. That's how much trust and comfort she gave me throughout the day. She is an absolute credit to The Orangery and they should be incredibly proud to have her on their team.

But what makes The Orangery truly special is that it isn't just one person.

It's everyone.

From the accounts team who made the financial side stress-free, to the marketing and media team who kept us connected to the venue over the years, to the wedding coordinators, catering management, catering staff, bar staff, grounds team, and every person working behind the scenes—every single one of them played a part in bringing our wedding to life.

I want to thank every single member of staff because together they created the most incredible experience.

What I loved most was that I never once felt like I was asking for too much.

If I wanted to add something, it wasn't a problem.

If I wanted to remove something, it wasn't a problem.

If I had a question, it wasn't a problem.

If I wanted to personalise something, it wasn't a problem.

Nothing was ever treated like an inconvenience.

The team listened. They cared. They wanted to help.

Whether it was our personalised drink tokens, special napkins, lawn games, decorations, sparklers, flowers, or all the little details that made our wedding unique to us, the team embraced our ideas and worked with us to make them happen.

I never felt restricted.

I never felt limited.

I always felt heard.

The venue itself is simply breathtaking.

The gardens are immaculate and absolutely stunning. Everywhere you look, you can see how much pride and care goes into maintaining the venue. The Lapa overlooking the lake, where we got married, is one of the most beautiful ceremony settings I have ever seen. Standing there, surrounded by our family and friends, overlooking the water, was a moment I will never forget.

One of the loveliest touches was after the ceremony when we were able to take a quiet walk together around the gardens as newlyweds. Just the two of us. No photographers. No guests. No interruptions.

Just a few precious moments together to take everything in.

It was such a thoughtful touch and something that meant so much to us.

That moment perfectly sums up what The Orangery does so well—they truly put the bride and groom at the heart of everything.

We were incredibly lucky with the weather, and seeing all of our guests enjoying the gardens, relaxing on the patio, playing lawn games, taking photographs, and simply soaking up the atmosphere was wonderful.

The food was absolutely delicious and the catering team did an amazing job. Everything was beautifully presented, served seamlessly, and our guests are still talking about it now.

In fact, one of the biggest compliments I can give is that almost every guest commented on how incredible the venue was.

People talked about how beautiful it was.

How friendly the staff were.

How amazing the food was.

How smoothly the day ran.

How relaxed and enjoyable the atmosphere felt.

Everything flowed effortlessly.

Even now, I still find myself pinching myself that I got married there.

This was the biggest day of my life.

And somehow, it was even more perfect than I ever imagined it could be.

The weather was perfect.

The venue was perfect.

The food was perfect.

The staff were perfect.

Everything was perfect.

I can completely understand why The Orangery has won so many awards because it's not just the stunning venue that makes it special—it's the incredible people behind it.

To any future bride and groom considering booking The Orangery: you are so lucky.

You are choosing a venue filled with people who genuinely care about making your day unforgettable. A team who will listen to you, support you, guide you, and do everything within their power to make your wedding everything you've dreamed of.

If I could relive one day of my life, it would be our wedding day at The Orangery.

We had the most amazing day!

We had our wedding day yesterday at the orangery. From start to finish the orangery made sure everything was absolutely perfect. All our guests was blown away by the venue and the organisation of the team. Kate was our events manager and she was brilliant, Kate was there every step of the way. We truly are grateful for everything Kate and the team done for us to make our day extra special. If we could do it all again tomorrow we would. Both feeling very nervous but filled with excitement too the team was there guiding us through every little bit which very reassuring. We cannot thank the team enough and if you’re contemplating booking the orangery for your special day go ahead and take the plunge you will NOT be disappointed. Thankyou the orangery 😁

Wowowow perfect day

We just wanted to start by saying wow, wow, wow! 🤍Throughout the day, there were a few small mishaps on our part, but the team handled everything so smoothly. For example, I accidentally didn’t order enough cutlery, and our wedding coordinator sorted it out immediately without bringing me any stress whatsoever. We also forgot the bouquets (which were with the groom!), but again, the team quickly communicated and resolved it with no stress to me at all.I’ve since had several guests contact me to say how incredibly attentive the staff were during the wedding breakfast. I genuinely could not fault the day staff in any way, shape, or form—they were absolutely amazing.My only negative from the day came later in the evening. Once our day coordinator had finished and things were handed over to another team, it became a little bit chaotic. Unfortunately, two of my guests ended up going home because they weren’t aware where the food was being served. As they were pregnant, they didn’t want to wait around feeling hungry, which was such a shame.It also seemed that a number of guests weren’t aware of the evening buffet, and some evening guests missed out on the tiramisu as no announcement was made. This was disappointing, especially as we had invested quite a lot into both the tiramisu cake and the evening food.That said, as a whole, the day went extremely well, and I truly couldn’t fault the majority of the staff at The Orangery. They played a huge part in making our wedding so special, and we’re very grateful

Our amazing day

We had our wedding on the 14th of February 2026 at The Orangery, and it was absolutely perfect. The team were incredibly professional and truly couldn’t have done any more for us. The level of organisation and attention to detail was fantastic.
A very special thank you to Michaela, our wedding events manager, who made sure everything ran smoothly and exactly according to plan. She was amazing from start to finish.
The food was incredible, the venue looked beautiful, and all of the staff were wonderful throughout the day. We had the most amazing time and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Perfect Winter Wedding ✨

Selecting The Orangery for our Christmas wedding in December 2025 was the best choice we could have made!
I cannot recommend the venue enough, not only is it a simply beautiful setting with incredible spots around the buildings and grounds for photography, but the interior for a classic, winter wedding is exactly how I dreamed it would be.
Beyond that, it’s the team that made it such a perfect choice. Throughout the year they were supportive, positive, and so helpful on every request. There are lots of unknowns when planning your big day and the things you may dwell on or worry over ie timing, are handled expertly by The Orangery who do this day in day out - and yet treat your day like it’s the priority of the year.
Closer to the date we worked with Jaime who was faultless. Responsive, organised, a pleasure to chat to. Then on the day, increase this tenfold! I knew I could trust every detail was in hand and I didn’t have to remember or remind or worry about a thing. They work with brilliant suppliers who are worth exploring, as they fit into the Orangery teamwork seamlessly.
The wider Orangery team were incredible too, and all of our guests remarked on their perfect service. The food was so highly raved about as the best wedding food they’d had, and this was so important to us.
Overall, our day was above and beyond what I envisioned (and I know I had a very clear picture in my mind!)
We are so grateful to The Orangery team for a day to remember ✨

We had our wedding at The Orangery this December and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The venue looked magical in the winter – warm, elegant and beautifully festive – and created such a special atmosphere for our day. The staff were outstanding: professional, friendly and incredibly attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly and that we and our guests were completely looked after. The food was delicious, the service was seamless, and so many of our guests commented on how stunning the venue was. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding and would highly recommend The Orangery to anyone looking for a truly special venue.

Amazing venue even better hosts

The staff at the orangery was fantastic everything was done smoothly and every thing they had taken care of how we wanted it to, they couldn’t do enough for us. The venue is beautiful the food was amazing and good size portion to.

Our events manager was spot on , she kept me calm through the day she kept popping in to check how we was if we needed anything even when we was walking to get married she carried my dress so it didn’t get dirty.

In the evening the staff has swapped over and there was an introduction.

Can’t thank the Oranger enough they made our day extra special.

Best day of my life

Worth every penny, but you have to have penny to spend. We wanted beautiful grounds but were mindful people would want to be outside instead of inside dancing if it was warm. So we picked cold weather, but beautiful grounds so if people got hot they could enjoy the outdoor scenery. Everyone at the orangery did everything right make sure I was happy with all the options we chose. They were extremely responsive and made sure we were happy with all our decisions. Absolutely brilliant venue and best day of my life. Not a thing went wrong.
