The Orchard offers a range of stunning spaces to suit every love story from intimate ceremonies to grand receptions for up to 130 guests. The fairy-lit Starlight Suite sets the scene for an unforgettable celebration, with its soft glow, elegant décor, and warm, welcoming ambiance.
Begin the day in the Oak Lodge a cozy, elegantly appointed bridal getting ready room that offers a tranquil sanctuary for up to six guests. With a thoughtfully prepared brunch basket to savor, it provides the perfect, intimate moment to relax, share laughter, and create cherished memories before the celebration begins.
Couples can choose from four beautiful ceremony locations, each as magical as the next:
The Garden Gazebo – A romantic favourite, surrounded by sweeping fields and skies, with wooden benches seating up to 120 guests ideal for a sun-kissed summer ceremony surrounded by the beauty of the countryside.
The Water Terrace – A charming alternative for outdoor ceremonies, especially popular for winter weddings thanks to its magical setting.
The Secret Garden - Tucked away behind charming wooden church doors, this enchanting space features fairy lights adorning the start of your aisle, leading you to a breathtaking view of the Kent countryside.
The Wisteria Room - An elegant indoor space for up to 80 guests, adorned with delicate floral touches and soft lighting, perfect for a romantic ceremony sheltered from the elements, yet still filled with natural charm.
After exchanging heartfelt vows, guests are invited to indulge in a beautifully prepared wedding breakfast in the Starlight Suite, with seating up to 130 guests. The menu is thoughtfully crafted by The Orchard’s talented in-house chefs, using the finest seasonal ingredients to create a feast that’s both comforting and unforgettable.

Best Day Ever
As the preparations went on, the responsiveness and helpfulness of our coordinator Katie was amazing. She was incredibly friendly and so lovely, helping us make decisions and guide us on how best to use the venue to get the experience we were after.
On the day itself, Katie was brilliant at helping decide what to do about the ceremony location given the weather and made sure we had the best day. All of the food went down really well with our guests and the floor staff Karen and Josh took great care of us throughout the day. We could not have asked for better support from the staff and the venue itself has an extemely homely and welcoming vibe, accommodating everything we were after for our wedding day. We are incredibly lucky to have celebrated our wedding there, cannot thank the staff enough and would fully recommend The Orchard to anyone looking for an elegant wedding!

I fell in love online and it did not disappoint in person. All the staff from the get go were amazing, very knowledgeable, professional and friendly!
The chef is incredible, katie was our wedding co-ordinater and did not let us down. The package its self was an incredible deal in my opinion.
You gave us a day we will remember for ever! All our guys were obsessed with the venue, 1 entertainment DJ supplied was amazing, Arrive in luxury also supplied were outstanding. We literally have no bad word to say! My only wish is I could do it all over again. Thank you to all the staff at the Orchard for your input in the day of our life.

From the moment we booked until our wedding day, the staff were incredibly accommodating, helpful, and professional. They made the whole process stress-free and ensured everything ran smoothly.
Everything was perfect on the day, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our guests are still talking about how amazing it was and will be for a long time to come. We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our special day and would highly recommend The Orchard to any couple looking for a truly memorable wedding venue.

Now, 5 weeks since our wedding, we can fully appreciate just how exceptional the venue and its entire team truly are. We were incredibly lucky to have Devon as our wedding coordinator. We clicked with her instantly. She explained everything clearly, guided us through every decision, and helped us shape a day that exceed our vision and met our budget. We’re sure all the coordinators are amazing, but Devon genuinely brought our dream wedding to life. Thank you, Devon — you are a star!
We also had the pleasure of meeting the Head Chef Callum, who walked us through the extensive food options with the same warmth and professionalism. As we had a twilight wedding, we chose the mixed buffet — and it exceeded every expectation. We’d worried there might not be enough food, but Callum reassured us, and he was absolutely right. Every dietary requirement was catered for, and our guests are still telling us it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had. The quality and quantity were incredible. Cheers, Callum, you and your team absolutely delivered!
As part of our package, we used the Arrive in Style car service and met Gary & Sammy, who handled additional transport for around 65 guests to and from a nearby hotel. The service was exceptional and fantastic value for money. They felt like extended family — the kind of people you’d happily have as guests, not just drivers. We’re so grateful for them.
Finally, our DJ team, Ross & Lisa from 1 Entertainment, kept the dance floor full from our first dance to the very last song. Ross created the perfect atmosphere, and the playlist we built together meant the energy never dipped. Our wedding simply wouldn’t have been the same without them.

Tez started her career as a House Manager for Whitbread, before becoming the manager of a popular à la carte restaurant. Her experience in both these roles gave her a passion for hospitalilty, and taught her how important it is to couple a well-appointed venue with exceptional service.
In 2010 Tez took over The Orchard. At the time it was very different; a country pub with a function room out the back. Tez quickly saw the potential to convert this beautfiul 14th century farmhouse into an enchanting wedding venue.
Tez has worked tirelessly for well over a decade to turn The Orchard into the breathtaking venue we have today. During her journey, Tez has tried her hand at every role, even working in the kitchens alongside our talented chefs. There's nothing she doesn't know about The Orchard!
Today Tez inspires her passionate team to create magical weddings and events. She's constantly looking for ways to innovate and give out couples the best possible day. Our historic home is in good hands.
