Adjacent, sits the original 250-year-old Old Barn, home to beautifully appointed boutique Kentish accommodation for the wedding party. Outside, more than three acres of professionally maintained gardens provide an ever-changing backdrop throughout the seasons. Exchange vows beneath a rose and wisteria-lined ceremony aisle with modern glass canopies overhead, explore modern, wilding gardens, mature trees and curated planting for photography. The most amazing venue
From the very moment we booked, the staff were so helpful and supportive. There was never a single stressful moment in the whole planning process because they were always on hand to answer questions and help with every little detail. Their communication and care made everything so easy and enjoyable.
On the big day, the service was completely faultless. Everything ran so smoothly, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. The food was incredible, all of our guests are still talking about how delicious it was!
Every single detail was thought of, and we truly had the most perfect day at the most perfect venue, surrounded by the most amazing people who made it all possible. We can’t recommend The Old Kent Barn highly enough it was everything we dreamed of and more!

The venue itself is stunning and provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding, but what really sets it apart is the incredible team behind it. Every member of staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran perfectly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment of our special day.
We genuinely believe that without their support, organisation, and attention to detail, we wouldn't have been able to enjoy the day as much as we did. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt completely looked after from start to finish.
The food was also outstanding and received so many compliments from our guests. A huge thank you to the chef and the entire team for delivering such an amazing experience.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone involved and would not hesitate to recommend The Old Kent Barn to anyone looking for a wedding venue. If you choose to get married here, you're in very safe hands.
Above and Beyond
Our coordinator, Claire, was exceptional. She was incredible every step of the way and always on hand to help with anything we needed. Her organisation, attention to detail and support meant everything ran so seamlessly on the day, and we truly wouldn’t have been able to do it without her.
We also had young children in our bridal party and the staff were amazing with them, making them feel comfortable and included throughout the day. It meant so much to us that they were looked after so well.
The venue itself is stunning and created the most beautiful setting for our wedding day. Everything looked incredible and ran so smoothly from start to finish. We are still receiving so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was and how well the whole day was organised.
Thank you so much to Claire and the entire team for making our wedding day so special and memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate such an important day.

Happiest Day of our lives and all thanks to the old Kent barn
We had our special day on a sun filled day on 3rd January 2025 surrounded by all our family and loved ones.
Our wedding was brought forward with 6 months due to doctors advice to my wife.
They couldn’t of been more helpful. Helped us through every step of the way and guided us through the entire process.
This was an absolute god send to my wife who is regularly in and out of Kings College Hospital.
The team took all the stress and worry from us and were always on hand in with any questions.
They were absolutely awesome. They are extremely well organised and ensured everything went well.
Our fairy tale wedding became a reality and we owe this to all the team.
We’d like to give an extra special shout out to Chloe, our wedding co-ordinator. You were awesome!

Fantastic venue
The whole process was very smooth and they have thought about every little detail. Their portal is very comprehensive and they help you to plan your wedding and make sure you cover every aspect of your day.
They really do go above and beyond and they run the wedding almost military style (in a good way!). They make sure you are on track without being pushy. Everything is done seamlessly and in the background. You never know they are there!
The venue is fantastic and there’s very little you need to do to decorate. It’s just down to individual themes and table decorations. It allows you to take great photos as the venue and the gardens are beautiful.
The food was great. The portions were massive and it tasted great. You won’t be leaving the wedding being hungry.
All in all, they have thought about everything, including the tiniest details. Even at the end of the night, the have made sure that there was some evening food left for us in our bedroom.
We’ve had a great wedding at TOKB and we are very grateful to the venue and the staff for making it perfect.

From the minute we booked, the team have been brilliant. They are so responsive, they never leave you waiting for an answer when you email. They are positive, supportive and, most importantly, kind!
I have listened to the podcast ‘The Unfiltered Bride’ for most of the wedding planning and they encourage booking a ‘day of’ coordinator as wedding venues don’t provide the support you need. I can promise, with all my heart, you do not need one at TOKB. I had worried that we’d made a mistake not booking one, but boy did they prove me wrong.
They had at least two people checking on us throughout the morning as well as someone else for my husband, who helped with ties and getting them ready. Yes they were there to coordinate everything from the venue POV, but I did not feel ignored or that I was missing an extra person to help. They were on hand to help get me into my dress, to make sure my bridesmaids were ready. If you listen specifically to episode 74 of ‘The Unfiltered Bride’, everything listed during that episode as something a ‘day of’ coordinator does, is everything the team at TOKB did.
The food at TOKB is sublime. We had the hog roast for wedding breakfast and pizza for the evening. Our guests loved everything about it all, including the canapés. They took all dietary requirements we had in their stride and no-one went hungry.
I could gush about them for hours, they really are excellent.
