Surrounded by 36 acres of landscaped grounds, this manor house wedding venue in Kent combines timeless character with a beautiful view. Choose from a selection of refined indoor ceremony spaces or two outdoor locations, each offering a beautiful backdrop for your vows. Afterwards, the estate’s gardens and grounds provide the perfect setting for relaxed and natural wedding photography.
With 47 bedrooms and additional self catering cottages on site, it’s easy for you and your guests to stay, celebrate and make the most of your time together.
Your Wedding, Your Way
Food and drink play a big part in your wedding day at Salomons Estate. Our chefs use seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, and you’ll have the flexibility to put together a wedding package that suits you & your guests.
From your drinks reception through to the evening celebrations, a range of drinks packages are available to suit your day. You can also personalise your offering with additions such as prosecco stations, gin bars or bespoke cocktails, alongside a variety of non alcoholic options.
For your wedding breakfast, we offer a wide selection of dining styles to suit your vision, from traditional three course menus to more relaxed options such as BBQs, hog roasts or afternoon tea. Menus can be tailored to your preferences, and couples are invited to enjoy a complimentary tasting to help finalise their choices.
As the day continues, evening food options range from street food to late night snacks, ensuring your guests are well looked after throughout your celebration.

We have 47 onsite bedrooms just a two minute walk from the manor house, a convenient stay for friends & family. We also have four mini garden cottages, our charming three bedroom cottage and our largest property the Gatehouse which sleeps up to 12 guests.

A Perfect Day at a Truly Beautiful Venue
The location is absolutely beautiful. We were lucky enough to have our wedding outdoors, and the stunning views across the grounds created the most perfect backdrop for our ceremony. Salomons Estate is a truly lovely venue, full of charm and character, and it made our day feel extra special.
The food also deserves a special mention, it was delicious and generously portioned, with many of our guests commenting on both the taste and the quality throughout the day. It was so reassuring to hear such positive feedback from friends and family.
Overall, everyone had a wonderful day, and we felt completely looked after from start to finish. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Salomons Estate and their fantastic staff to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with a dedicated and caring team.
Perfect in every way
I don't really know where to start - other than to thankyou SO much to Leah and the whole events team for being the most amazing wedding venue & events team we could ask for.
Everything about our day was perfect from start to finish, and even before hand. The team were constantly fast to respond to any queries or questions I had. The team made themselves available for meetings if needed, and never judged me for my OTT wedding planning documents!!
Leah crafted our day perfect, and made our dream day come to life. All members of staff were fantastic, professional, efficient, we cannot thankyou all enough.

The food, oh my god the food, I had compliments from nearly every guest on all of the food. The canapes, the wedding breakfast, the evening snacks - INCREDIBLE. some of the best food I've ever had in my life.
And guests also commented on how lovely the bar staff were also both in the day and evening.
And a VERY big thankyou to how supportive and relaxed Leah was throughout the day - never felt like any task was too big or too much of an ask, her foresight when things were running early, and making changes to our schedule effortlessly so things still ran smoothly like bringing dinner forward, helping discuss with our photographer changes to the timeline so we could get the perfect wedding photos, AMAZING, absolutely amazing from start to finish - we could not have asked for a more perfect co-ordinator than Leah.
I can't quite put into words how forever grateful we will be, we couldn't have had our dream day without you all.

New Years Eve Wedding
Best Day of my Life
Our day of coordinator, Leah, was absolutely lovely. Not only is she attentive, but she is kind, thoughtful, and incredibly detail-oriented, making every part of the process seamless and stress-free. I can’t be more grateful to have had her by my side.
The venue decorated for the holidays just days before our wedding, providing us with beautiful added decor and magic! My friends and family love the many rooms and areas to explore, including the museum, gardens, bar, terrace, etc.
We opted for afternoon tea for our wedding breakfast and pizza for late night bites and our guests absolutely loved it! They offered options for our friends with gf, veggie, etc dietary requirements, and people raved about their meals! They have options for everyone.
Between the beautiful venue, genuinely lovely staff, and delicious food and drink, I cannot be more grateful to Leah and everyone at Salomons. I got to live out my fairytale dream wedding here, and I am so excited for every couple who chooses to do the same. You will have the best day of your lives.
A staple in Kent
Salomon's was the perfect place to have our wedding
We had many compliments about the quality of the food. Our suppliers even said it was the best meal they'd had while working! We did the Sharing Roast and having the guests in chef's hat to carve the roast was a very popular part of our day.
I can't compliment the events team at Salomon's enough. In the last month before the wedding, they were so responsive and went above and beyond. We had a few changes in staff on their side and changed our main coordinator but it had 0 impact to the quality of our day.
On the day, our coordinator Willow was exceptional - keeping the show running and making sure that everyone was well looked after.
We were beyond happy with our wedding and Salomon's will always hold a special place in our heart!
Our Wedding was perfect
A Beautiful Day
Absolutely perfect venue.
The whole team are amazing to work with and when first visiting I felt so relaxed and at ease in their company - a lot of other venues felt very pushy in comparison looking back.
We absolutely loved that they had so many options in regards to food and drinks packages. We went for their bbq option which was perfect as we didn’t want a 3 course sit down, we wanted something a bit more relaxed. The food was delicious and everyone said they felt really full compared to some other weddings they’d been to!
The grounds themselves are stunning. We were so fortunate that we got married on the terrace, but the back up room inside was also beautiful if the weather hadn’t been on our side! We had our reception in the science theatre that is such a unique room and so beautiful.
Our wedding parties stayed the night before in the gatehouse and the bridal cottage, most of our wedding party also stayed the evening of the wedding in the hotel accommodation. This really extended our wedding celebration and I’m so grateful we could all stay on site in lovely accommodation.
I could go on and on for hours, but to summarise; the venue is not only stunning but is matched in amazing service.

We will 10000% be returning for our anniversary.
