We recently held our wedding reception at the Holiday Inn Rochester - Chatham, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we began planning to the final moments of the evening. The staff were incredible, friendly, attentive, and consistently going above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. Their professionalism and warmth made such a difference, and we truly felt supported every step of the way. The hotel itself is clean, welcoming, and in a great location. The value for money is exceptional, especially considering the level of service we received. Our reception setup was beautiful, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the menu offered a lovely selection of food that our guests thoroughly enjoyed What impressed us most was how seamless everything felt. The service was excellent throughout the day, well beyond our expectations. All our guests were equally impressed, many of our guest commented they wished they had known about this venue earlier, as they would have chosen it for their own weddings or events. Holiday Inn Rochester – Chatham helped create a day we will never forget. We couldn’t recommend this venue more highly for anyone looking for a friendly, well‑organised, and truly exceptional place to celebrate a special occasion.

My new bride and I were delighted to be welcomed as the very first wedding at the newly renovated Commissioners House — and what can I say other than it was absolutely amazing. From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted by your personal coordinator, who is there to support you every step of the way. The furnishings, atmosphere and character of this beautiful historic building really have to be seen to be fully appreciated. Our ceremony was intimate, with just a small party of guests, and everything was handled with real warmth and professionalism. Afterwards, we strolled down to the gardens, where we enjoyed the most delightful afternoon tea, accompanied by plenty of champagne! The whole afternoon was truly magical and something we will always remember. If you are considering Commissioners House for your wedding, I would highly recommend arranging a visit. It is a very special venue. John & Shannon x
