The Gardens

From the very beginning of our journey the Gardens and their team were fully supportive in every aspect of the planning of our wedding.
The inspiration evenings were extremely helpful and helped us to understand the scope that could be achieved with the room decorations and food and drinks on the day.
We were able to plan 'our day' using the portal which was constantly monitored and updated as we input our choices throughout the process, during the months leading up to our big day.
The payment plan was a tremendous benefit, spreading the cost over a 15 month period, rather than a lump sum payment. it took away the pain, we felt like it represented really good value for money.
Having our own wedding coordinator made a big difference, and Beth was exceptional with lots of sound advice and always on hand. she took all the weight off our shoulders so that we could soak up and enjoy our day.

We got married 5 weeks ago at the beautiful gardens. We was looking for a venue that could give us the relaxed feel but had the wow factor and the gardens delivered on all aspects. Beth made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. From the very visit first we knew the gardens would be our venue: Beth was available every step of the way. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had such an amazing day we wish we could do it all over again.
All the guests said how amazing the food was, even got comments about how it was the best jacket potatoe they had ever tasted!! We can’t thank the gardens team enough.

From the very first meeting, we knew The Gardens was the venue for us.
The grounds are absolutely stunning and we had great weather for late September, so were married under the gazebo.

The staff are all very attentive and made sure our day was magical.

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue for our wedding. The Gardens in Yalding was absolutely stunning and provided the perfect setting for our special day. Every little detail made the venue feel so magical, and our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful it was.

The food was also amazing! We had so many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was, which was really important to us.

A special mention has to go to our coordinator, Rheanna, who was absolutely lovely from start to finish. She was so helpful, friendly and reassuring, and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. Having someone so organised and lovely there made such a difference and meant we could relax and enjoy every moment.

We honestly couldn’t recommend The Gardens enough. It was everything we dreamed of for our wedding and we are so grateful to the whole team for helping make it the most perfect day.

The retreat upstairs to get ready was fabulous, and it was so lovely to have a beautiful space to get ready with my bridal party.

We had the most perfect day from start to finish. The staff were attentive, everything seemed a breeze, and we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day. A special mention goes to Beth, our coordinator, and the rest of the team, who did an outstanding job of keeping everything running smoothly and always had our cups filled.

The food was exceptional, and all our guests commented on how delicious it all was—particularly the steak and chips canapés and the generous portion sizes of the three-course meal. The evening grazing board buffet was also a big hit, and everyone couldn't get over how tasty it was.

As for the grounds, they made a perfect backdrop for our ceremony and celebrations. Guests loved wandering the gardens and capturing their own moments in between the fun of the day.

Other positives include the online portal, which made planning and communicating with the venue so easy. The taster days were also really helpful for us, aiding in everything from food and wine selection to choosing suppliers who work with the venue.

Overall, it was exactly as we had envisioned, made possible by the incredible attention to detail from the venue. We would highly recommend this location for your wedding!

We got married at the Gardens as a "destination" wedding from Canada. The main reasons we picked the Gardens were the quiet, tranquil and beautiful setting, as well as the venue offering a lot as a "package" (canapes, food, DJ, bar, day of coordinator) which made it a lot easier to plan from Canada and very stress-free. The getting-ready room for the bride is beautiful and the Gardens are superbly maintained. The staff were very friendly and did most of the set-up on the morning with some instruction from us. The guests commented in particular on the beautiful and unique setting and the quality of the food. Overall we loved the day and would highly recommend!

We recently had our wedding at this venue and couldn't have asked for a better experience from start to finish. From the planning stages right through to the wedding, everything was organised so professionally, and the coordination with our suppliers was completely seamless, which made the whole process stress-free for us.

A special mention has to go to Josie, who was incredible throughout the entire planning process and on the wedding day itself. She was always attentive, organised, and reassuring, making sure every detail was taken care of and helping everything run smoothly. She went above and beyond to make us feel looked after, even topping me up with perfume and making sure my mini portable fan was charged throughout the day – such a thoughtful touch that perfectly reflects the level of care she put into making our day special.

The staff on the day were equally fantastic – professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. They regularly checked in on us to make sure we had drinks and everything we needed, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment without worrying about a thing.

The level of care and attention we received was exceptional, and it truly made our day feel special. We would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful setting and a team that genuinely goes above and beyond.

We had the absolute best Saturday wedding in May at the Gardens. The venue was stunning and being able to have the various elements of the day in different places was perfect. Having the dressing room on site was a lovely way to start the day and the ceremony in the orchards was gorgeous and rustic.
The Gardens team are so friendly, responsive and thoughtful throughout, from booking the venue and particularly on the day. No request was too much and they took everything in their stride, meaning no stress for us. When you book the Gardens you are assigned an event manager, who essentially acts as an unofficial wedding planner on the day and is great for guidance on the lead up too. Beth was making sure everything ran on time and people knew where they needed to be, so that we didn’t have to. This was a standout feature for us and contributed to us feeling like the day was really good value for money.
We had great compliments from all our guests on the food, which was served flexibly around our speeches.
Our one and only comment is that due to noise restrictions our band couldn’t use a full drum kit. This was a shame but in the end did not impact our day at all. The Gardens were clear about this from the start, meaning that the DJ and other band members were able to work around it, and the dance floor was always full still.
Would 100% recommend the Gardens as a wedding venue! Loved it.

The gardens, yalding was our absolute dream location for our happily ever after party. The team worked so hard to create us a bespoke package as we weren’t needing to have a ceremony - just a celebration. The venue is absolutely beautiful. The gardens are perfect and the inside is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The tipi is also just such a beautiful location - hardly needs decorating as the ambiance with the lights and fire pits is just perfect! The staff are so professional and polite and all of our guests commented on what a perfect venue it was with such lovely people hosting us. We’d like to give a special thank you to Rheanna who coordinated our celebration! She really went above and beyond and was so friendly and professional. She replied to promptly to our questions and really was the perfect person to help support us on our day! Also everyone said how absolutely delicious the food was! Perfect for anyone with dietary requirements as well!

She guided the entire day so calmly and effortlessly — everything ran seamlessly — yet you wouldn’t have known she was there unless you needed her. That quiet reassurance allowed us to completely relax and just soak in every moment. We will always be grateful to The Gardens for giving us memories we will treasure forever.
