We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue! The venue was fantastic value for money, with incredibly professional staff and outstanding service from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing, and the chef was truly incredible. Everything was beautifully prepared and tasted fantastic — we genuinely couldn’t fault a thing. A huge thank you to the whole team for helping make our special day so memorable. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect place for their wedding. My (now) husband and I got married at Solton Manor on 3 October 2026 and we were simply delighted with our decision. We had the venue for two nights and they were nothing but helpful throughout; for example, Emilie (our coordinator) stayed later on Friday so I could rehearse with my wedding band. The staff were great - invisible except when you needed them, when suddenly they were right there, and always helpful and happy to accommodate our vision for our wedding. One thing I really liked is that we didn't feel rushed at any point, which is something I've experienced at other people's weddings. That can be particularly case the morning after your wedding, when you can feel hurried out after checkout and can leave a sour taste after a beautiful day. None of that at Solton. They were great all the way through the process of planning and helped make the day so smooth, and the venue is wonderful - it really just feels like your home for the duration of your stay. We couldn't be happier! One thing I found very attractive about Solton during the planning process was how generous their 'included in the price' list is. It's lots of small things like table card holders, easels and cake stands. It saves you a bit of money, but actually more importantly is it just reduces the number of small moving parts you need to think about the day approaches. Given the number of moving parts you do have to think about, that is a godsend!

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue. From start to finish, everything was absolutely amazing and we genuinely have zero faults. Jodie was incredible throughout the entire process. From all the planning in the lead up, where she was always only a message away, to helping us with our flowers the night before, and even being there on the morning of the wedding while we were getting ready, nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Having someone so helpful, calm and genuinely invested in making our day perfect made such a difference. The shepherd huts we stayed in were absolutely gorgeous and the little touches of biscuits, pastries and milk waiting for us made them feel even more special. The food was UNREAL. We had the hog roast buffet for our main food, pizzas in the evening and a sweet cart, and everything was absolutely delicious. We had so many compliments from our guests about the food. The venue itself was perfect for a wedding, especially with children. We had lawn games which the kids absolutely loved, and the hobbit house in the gardens was a massive hit with them too. There was so much space for everyone to enjoy themselves and the whole place just had such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Many of our guests have complimented the venue saying what a lovely relaxed and cosy feel it had. Our wedding day genuinely could not have been more perfect. We were able to enjoy every second of it because we knew everything was being taken care of behind the scenes. Jodie, Guy and the whole team put so much effort into making our day exactly what we wanted, and we will always be so grateful. If we could do the whole day again tomorrow, we honestly would. ❤️ We couldn’t recommend The Cider Works enough to anyone looking for a wedding venue. Thank you for giving us the most perfect day, we’ll never forget it.
