We had the most incredible wedding at The Vines of Rochester! The setting was perfect for our relaxed, fun, festival-style celebration and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. The staff were absolutely amazing – so attentive, friendly, and always checking in to make sure we were okay throughout the day. They even went above and beyond by finding a family keepsake that I had misplaced, which I was very grateful for. In the lead-up they were super organised, making everything stress-free, answering all my questions and after the wedding they made sure all our belongings were safe and followed up with any queries promptly. It truly is a lovely venue with a wonderful team behind it – we would 100% recommend The Vines of Rochester to any couple looking for the perfect wedding location in Kent!

Our special day was perfect, and this is credit to the wonderful Vines venue and the amazing team led by Becky and Holly.

The venue is beautiful. So much character and style. We loved getting married in the tippe, very intimate. The dining room did not need a lot of dressing and flowers, some simple styling and the space looked amazing. We loved that there were multiple spaces for our guests to use, the bar area was lively and great for chatting while the dining rooms transformed to a generous dance floor. Then our closest friends and family were able to stay at the venue with us, to enjoy a yummy breakfast the next day.
The location, venue and setting is just perfect.

The whole experience with the Vines team was very professional and well organised. Questions were answered super promptly, with confidence from the super friendly team.
The supper tasting night was great, we were able to sample multiple starters and desserts, although keep an eye out and book early.
The pre wedding appointment went through every detail. There was nothing that they hadn’t considered and care was taken to tailor to our preferences, nothing was a problem.

On the day Becky and Holly were amazing, so attentive, supportive, brilliant ladies, they absolutely made the day with lots of complements from our guests on the high quality of the team. The food was outstanding, thank you to the culinary team.
The DJ was great, tailored to our music preferences and refused any off piste guest requests! Well looked after by the evening team.

From the initial visit to The Vines, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. The staff team were always on hand to help with any queries or logistical issues we had, answering all of our questions and the online portal was so easy to use. The pricing is clearly laid out and there aren't any hidden or added on costs later on. We mainly dealt with Holly on the lead up to the wedding, and Becky and Will on the day. They were all so helpful and supportive. They took care of a last minute crisis when the lady bringing our dog to be the ring bearer ended up stuck in traffic. Without us even knowing, they sent someone to go and help bring them to the venue on time. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The drinks...good luck deciding what package you want as they are all so delicious. We opted for the festival wedding which was so laid back, but still organised. The food was so good and the evening buffet was lovely. The DJ included liaised with us on the lead up to the wedding and worked with us to put together an idea of what we wanted and what would get people dancing, which worked perfectly. The rooms....there are so many to choose from to be your wedding suite. We opted for a garden room. We gave the others to guests travelling to the wedding and all of the rooms are so beautiful in their own unique way. Becky and Will were on hand all of our wedding day for us and our guests and anything we needed was taken care of without a fuss. The morning after we all had breakfast with our guests that stayed over and that was such a lovely extra touch to add to the wedding. Even the timings that the planners work out mean there are non rushed transitions of moving your items out and the next wedding bringing items in; you barely notice. Being able to store items there a few days before is a huge help! Also in the lead up to the wedding they invited us to a supper evening where we got to enjoy some of the lovely food on offer. In the portal there is also a section for selling and buying wedding items which is very helpful and convenient.
Honestly we couldnt have been happier with our choice of venue and have recommended it to friends that have since gotten engaged. Amazing venue and team x

We instantly fell in love with The Vines, it was the perfect venue for us and we loved having a relaxed festival style wedding meaning we had more time to mingle with our guests. The wedding coordinators were friendly, accommodating and professional. We were in such good hands and were made to feel so special. It really was the best day. Thank you so much, Alex & Tom.

We were lucky enough to have held our wedding day at The Vines on 4th November 2023. From start to finish, the whole process was such a breeze. Their communication was always so speedy and thorough (which is what any bride wants). There were never too many small or big questions I could ask them, as they were always so happy to help. It was honestly such a stress free experience for us and they went above and beyond. I cannot thank them enough for everything. The venue, the rooms, the food, the staff… all faultless! We chose the ‘festival’ style wedding to suit us and our guests and we still have guests commenting now on what a fabulous day and experience it was. It was very different from any wedding we had attended, in the best way possible. If my husband would let me do it all again tomorrow, I would!

We had a wonderful day with our friends and family. The venue is beautiful. Such amazing photo opportunities at the venue but also in Rochester with the castle and cathedral. everyone said how lovely it is. All the wedding co-ordinaters were wonderful, any problem or question was always dealt with promptly and professionally. Our venue will always have brilliant memories of our day.

We had our wedding here recently and wow what a venue! It’s such a pretty venue and so many of our guests commented on how lovely it is. It has amazing locations for photos, in the sunshine and rain! And we had a mixture of both on our day. But the best thing about the Vines has to be the team that work there. They couldn’t do enough for you. They made everything seem effortless, they were so kind and accommodating and we are so pleased we chose the Vines as our wedding venue. From Becky our duty manager on the day - who was absolutely fabulous and couldn’t have done more for us - to the bar staff, waiting staff, DJ and just everyone we encountered - they were all fabulous. Thank you so much!

Was sold on the basis we’d have a wedding portal to help us throughout - this is only for a traditional wedding. If having a festival wedding there is nothing.
Personally I felt alone & wasn’t confident until the meeting 8weeks before to go through plans for the day- I felt if anything was not ok it was late to make amendments.
As a second wedding I knew what I wanted but was chilled, however for some this may not be a good experience.

On the day - we had pre arranged a tab with conditions, thus didn’t seem to be adhered too. I had several decorations go missing & I got no response.

We received no contact after the wedding to ask for feedback or to ask if everything was ok
