From start to finish, our experience at Southdowns has been incredible. A beautiful venue, delicious food and wonderful staff. Our wedding planner was like a member of the bridal party, she was so helpful throughout the day and really helped things to run smoothly. We had so many compliments on the venue and the food! Love love love, wish we could do it all again!

We cannot thank Paul and his team enough for going above and beyond on our big wedding day, having a wedding in 39 degree heats was never going to be easy but Paul made sure everyone was safe and hydrated always offering water throughout the ceremony, making sure there was some sort of shade for the people who didn’t wanna stay in the sun. The venue was absolutely perfect for a wedding day with a outside seating area for a bright summers day or even if it was wet and windy we could of had it turned around and put inside but because it was so nice we chose to keep it outside We chose a BBQ wedding Breakfast which consisted of 3 meats 3 salads and a pudding and everyone absolutely loved it, we chose smoked beef brisket, smoked pork shoulder and Smoked pork ribs with Summer Pasta Salad, Rosemary & Garlic Roasted Potatoes & Spiced Corn on the Cob to finish us off we had Raspberry & White Chocolate Roulade omg this was amazing! and for the evening we had a finger Buffet and pizza buffet for ours and there was so much food no1 went hungry even the staff where fed( we told the staff to eat). It was a pleasure to have our wedding at Ampfield Golf Club Everyone absolutely loved every minute of it and we cannot thank Paul enough for his hard work with the planning and making the day go exactly the way we wanted it Thank you to you all Mr & Mrs Baldwin

Our dream was to have an outdoors wedding and the Walled Garden was the perfect setting. It was a year in the making and our day unforgettable. The Holywell team went above and beyond expectation and we couldn't be more grateful.

We had the most amazing experience having our wedding reception with Bishopswood! We are incredibly grateful we chose to have our reception here. The food was absolutely amazing we had so many guests comment on how nice it was. Being a coeliac I honestly couldn’t thank you enough for how well they catered for me making sure it was all safe for me to eat and honestly the buffet was delicious! Staff friendliness is one of the main things that made us choose Bishopswood right at the beginning as we felt so listened to and everything seemed easy and chilled which has really made this whole experience stress free for us. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and all went above and beyond to make sure the day went exactly how we wanted and it really was everything and more! We would 100% recommend Bishopswood Golf Course to anyone who is getting married!

We chose to have our wedding at the Wellington Arms after looking at a few different venues the Wellington Arms had such a friendly, flexible team and the best space to hold our ceremony & reception. From start to finish we had the most stress free experience with a team that clearly cared about making our day perfect for us with careful planning, help and amazing organisation on the day! We had the most amazing wedding day, Danni, Lucie and Evie made the room look stunning and took everything off our hands, the venue was decorated exactly how I had imagined, the food and drink was perfect and the staff all day were brilliant. The team whilst being super professional felt like friends by the end of the day and our guests commented how friendly everyone was. I have not one bad word to say about choosing Wellington Arms for your wedding day, they really will help to make your wedding day the best day of your life and we are so grateful for all of the team.
