Our wedding at Southdowns Manor was absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the moment we first stepped into the venue, we knew it was something special — and it truly exceeded every expectation on the day. A huge thank you to Lia, our wonderful wedding coordinator, for being incredible from day one. Her care, organisation, and attention to detail made everything run so smoothly, and we felt completely at ease knowing she had everything in hand. The venue is stunning, but what makes it truly exceptional is the amazing team. Every single member of staff — from the bar and catering staff to the housekeeping team — was so friendly, professional, and welcoming. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and everyone had a smile on their face. A special thank you also to Rob for getting our room ready at the end of the night — Pippa actually cried when she saw the beautiful final touches! It was the perfect end to the most magical day. We can’t recommend Southdowns Manor enough — it’s the dream wedding venue with the most incredible team behind it!

The staff at Ampfield were professional, accomodating and patient with all of our requests, our minor mishaps with seating and meal planning and they were very responsive to all of our questions. The service was excellent and I would really recommend this venue. They made our day the absolute best we could have asked for. Thank you Ampfield team!

From the moment we first met Bryonie and the Holywell Estate team, we knew we had found the perfect partnership. Our dream was to have an outdoors wedding and the Walled Garden was the perfect setting. It was a year in the making and our day unforgettable. The Holywell team went above and beyond expectation and we couldn't be more grateful.

Just to say we cannot thank Sam and Kathryn enough for their excellent service and making our Wedding Day special. Sam was helpful and friendly.Suggesting.which room to use, sending choices of menus, giving us time to get our numbers together and offering great advice. .Kathryn was involved with setting up the room, tables and settings , well ready for our finishing touches .The room looked beautiful. The promise of good food and service was exactly what we got.Delicious and plentiful. Much praise to the Chef and Staff.Nothing too much trouble .Plenty room for 80 guests. Dance floor good size and plenty of room for the Disco and Karaoke..Atmosphere amazing . There are beautiful grounds around the Golf club ideal for photographs. Also a little bridge over a small pond. Fortunately the weather was so good that the guests could mill around outside.. Staff helped us to clear away our things . Professional to the end . We had our reception at Heckfield Place on August 16th 2008. We would like to thank everyone there for such a perfect day. We had the most wonderful wedding day, it was so perfect, magical and was like a fairytale. It is such a beautiful location with stunning grounds. I would just like to say a big thank you to the staff who made our wedding day so special . we will be using your facilities again in the near future for parties . the weather was gorgeous and you all made our day special the food was amazing all our guest commented on how much there was once again thank you for making 21st June 2014 very Special . Danni amd Jemma were wonderful - they listened to everything that we wanted for our wedding, and ensured it was executed to perfection. We saw the Wellington Arms on our first visit to a wedding fayre and we loved it so much that we booked it on the spot. The food was delicious, the attention to detail was perfect and we have memories that will last a lifetime. Above all else, we wanted a fun wedding and we got exactly that.
