Country Wedding Venues in Hampshire

We married at the Wellington Arms in Stratfield Turgis on May 11, 2024. We had our ceremony outside in the rose garden, which looked stunning on the day. Our day was perfect and all our guests had a great time. Jemma and her team did a fantastic job organising everything in the lead up and on the day. The food was delicious and the service was great. Everything was taken care of and was perfect. A big thank you to the team at the Wellington Arms for making our day so special!

From the moment we first met Bryonie and the Holywell Estate team, we knew we had found the perfect partnership. Our dream was to have an outdoors wedding and the Walled Garden was the perfect setting. It was a year in the making and our day unforgettable. The Holywell team went above and beyond expectation and we couldn't be more grateful.

Southdowns Manor was the perfect wedding choice for us. Accessible from London or the south, great value for money and was in a stunning location. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue and it’s surroundings were. Southdowns were great at going through all the options with us and our wedding planner was amazing. They were happy to answer our questions, advise on suppliers etc and were so great on the day. Would highly recommend!!

We recently had our wedding breakfast/reception at Ampfield Golf & Country Club/Restaurant 54 and all I can say it was absolutely outstanding. The day run smoothly and without any problems ( that we were aware of!) and this was down to Kris and his hard working staff. The food was amazing, best fishcake I have ever tasted and the food service was on time and swift. The décor in the venue was very modern, there is also a bridge for bride/groom photos, this was a lovely location. Nothing was too much trouble, and as I am a serial worrier this certainly eased my mind and it let me enjoy our wedding day. This venue is truly a hidden gem, and if planning a wedding or other function this is definitely worth a look, but even if you want somewhere to eat again I don't think you can go wrong. We will be going back to eat there again. Thanks.

We hired the barn for our wedding breakfast, 80 guests, and evening do for 120 guests. We had a country wedding which this venue suits perfectly, we also had lots of children as guests, having outside space and a bouncy castle proved to be invaluable! We had space outside to put up a gazebo, a hog roast and giant garden games without feeling at all cramped! The character of the barn meant we could decorate the inside with homemade bunting, candles (battery ones) fairy lights and flowers, creating a beautiful setting and a wonderful atmosphere, the views outside the doors are also incredible and the whole setting was a massive talking point for our guests! Having access to the gardens for our photos also meant that our photographer captured some stunning shots. Josh and the rest of the team were incredibly helpful....especially when a very special guest turned up to surprise us on the day! I would 100% recommended this venue.

I would just like to say a big thank you to the staff who made our wedding day so special . we will be using your facilities again in the near future for parties . the weather was gorgeous and you all made our day special the food was amazing all our guest commented on how much there was once again thank you for making 21st June 2014 very Special . The grounds are immaculate, the Manor House stunning what more can I say a perfect place

the drive up to the manor house was the lovely start to a fantasic day.the service was exeactly what were were looking for, friendly and helpful. oh and the views took my breath away. ths place has to be seen to understand how amazing our wedding was.
