Dear all at Bearwood Lakes Thank you for our beautiful wedding day on the 7th September 2018. From the moment we booked our date with Mandy she was just so helpful she always answered questions and emails and understood what we wanted from our day. The day itself was amazing it couldn't have been any better and the team off staff are a true credit to Bearwood Lakes. All our friends and family have commented on how well run the whole day was & how delicious all the food was. Taking photos down by the lakes was amazing and something very special to this venue. Dear Nigel I would like you to know that we were absolutely delighted with the superb wedding celebration that Charlie and his team put on for us on Saturday. I cannot begin to tell you just how thrilled we were and how flawlessly everything went. The preparation was perfect, the service was outstanding, the food was delicious – what more can I say? Several people said to me that the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding. I know that Ian and Sarah were delighted too and will want to thank Charlie themselves, but I wanted you to know what a great asset you have there – you should be very proud of him. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding reception! Mika and her team worked tirelessly to create the most beautiful setting with stunning table decorations, delicious food, a fabulous marquee and spacious dance-floor. She took all the stress and anxiety away from us and did everything we asked and more! And all this housing 146 guests!!

A beautiful setting on the river. An Old Water mill. Our wedding ceremony took place in the stable room which is an old dairy parlour decorated with beautiful tapestries. The Mill room is used for the reception which has an adjoining conservatory which opens out onto an amazing lawn with the river on both sides. Excellent food from buffet to 5 course and very good value, one of the cheapest we found for that quality. An ideal location for photos and extremely friendly and experienced staff. Good nearby accomodation at the Hinds Head including four poster beds and corner bath.
