Country Wedding Venues in Berkshire

We had the most amazing time getting married at The Old Mill. The venue itself is gorgeous along with the surrounding grounds. Our whole day went smoothly with Esther our coordinator and the rest of the team. We would highly recommend this venue to other couples for their wedding!

From the moment we first set foot in Donnington Grove for a wedding fair, we were made to feel welcome and valued. We can’t recommend it highly enough - the staff are incredibly friendly, our wedding organiser, Charlie Hill, couldn’t do enough to make the day perfect for us, the grounds make fantastic photo backdrops, the food was fantastic and the package is incredibly generous. My parents, bridesmaid and I (bride) are there in the restaurant the night before and that was delicious too, we will be going back! All in all, you don’t need to look any further than here if you want a fantastic and memorable wedding day. Our guests are still enthusing :-)

We have just held our celebration at Bearwood Lakes and it was absolutely perfect in every way! Yes, it’s a beautiful location, the function rooms are extremely attractive and comfortable and the food is excellent, but what really makes the difference at Bearwood is their wonderfully helpful and friendly staff. The service and attention we received on the day was simply superb! Our contact throughout, from initial enquiry, planning the event and then overseeing the day itself was with Events Manager, Mandy Hurst, who could not have done any more to make sure our day was a great success. Nothing was too much trouble and we (and particularly the birthday girl) were made to feel so welcome that Mandy genuinely felt more like a friend who was part of our day than a member of staff! Thank you Mandy, to you and all the team for making it such a memorable day for our mum. You were simply fantastic and I hope Bearwood Lakes fully appreciates what a priceless asset you are!

The day was PERFECT! Weather, setting, food and the very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. All our guests complimented us on our choice of venue and raved about the BBQ food which we had chosen for them. A big THANK YOU to the Events team, you made our wedding day a day to remember for us all.

We loved throw venue as soon as we saw it. The flexibility of using the 3 rooms gave us exactly what we were looking for. The food was lovely and were able to cater for everyone’s requirements. The staff were professional and smart and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this venue.
