The Feathered Nest Inn is a countryside wedding venue nestled in the Cotswolds hillside in Nether Westcote, Gloucestershire. Prepare to fall instantly in love with this historic 15th-century inn. From breathtaking scenery to the award-winning three-rosette cuisine, it's the perfect setting for a celebration of love.
Facilities and Capacity
The Feathered Nest casts its spell as soon as you arrive, offering a relaxed ambience and a whole lot of rustic charm that greet you and each of your guests. The venue is licensed for indoor and outdoor civil ceremonies for up to 60 guests. For larger wedding receptions of up to 120 guests, a marquee can be put up on the front lawn with outstanding views across the Evenlode valley. For the evening, The Feathered Nest Inn can accommodate up to 100 guests inside, or 120 in a marquee, and boasts four beautiful boutique rooms and a luxury cottage for you to retire to. Your stay is made complete with their award-winning breakfast the morning after. So, pull up a saddle seat at the bar and let their warm, experienced team work their magic.

Perfect venue, wonderful service, amazing food
Our Perfect Autumn Cotswolds Wedding
The whole team was exceptional. They were professional, warm, and incredibly supportive throughout the planning journey and on the big day itself. Rachel, our event planner, was fantastic. Her attention to detail and calm organisation meant we were able to fully relax and trust that everything was in safe hands.
Our guests are still raving about the food. Head Chef James and his talented kitchen team created dishes that were absolutely outstanding, and the service from the waiting staff was faultless. A special mention must go to Adam, the owner, who went above and beyond for us. From bringing breakfast to my bridesmaids and me on the wedding morning, to helping guests with anything they needed, to even carrying my dress as I walked down the aisle! His kindness and attentiveness were unforgettable.
We are so grateful to everyone at The Feathered Nest for making our wedding day EVERYTHING we hoped for and more. We’ll treasure these memories forever and can’t wait for our next visit.

I have 15 years experience within the wedding industry, and within that time have worked for some large exclusive venues as well as more intimate ones. I am a huge believer in taking away as much stress as possible for the couples I work with, so that the whole process is an enjoyable one and becomes part of the happy memories! I love guiding my couples through each stage, instilling absolute trust, and I get so much satisfaction from seeing each wedding day come together beautifully. I've been the proud owner of The Feathered Nest since 2019. It is a truly special place for any kind of visit, not least a wedding. It's always been important to me to offer a select number of dates each year to ensure each wedding can be completely bespoke and that our couples receive the best service possible. Natalie joined us at the beginning of 2026 to elevate our event offering, so we work closely together with our dedicated Front of House team to ensure every box is ticked.
