The Holt Hotel is an elegant 4-Star Hotel and wedding venue in Oxfordshire, ideally located between the Cotswolds, Oxford, and Bicester. Run by experienced hospitality professionals, the hotel offers personalised and professional wedding services for celebrations ranging from 50 to 150 guests.

Facilities and Capacity

Couples can host a civil ceremony, civil partnership, wedding breakfast, evening reception, or any combination of these. With years of wedding experience, the team confidently accommodates gatherings from 10 to 150 seated guests across a variety of stylish function rooms. Peaceful outdoor grounds and elegant interiors create a charming setting for an unforgettable day.

Choosing The Holt Hotel means enjoying dedicated support from an experienced wedding coordinator throughout the planning process. Incredible!!

Our day was truly amazing and a large part of that was due to having it at The Holt Hotel. Me (the bride) and bridal party stayed the night before and got ready in one of the family rooms which allowed us to get ready at the same time in one room (2 make up artists and 2 to 3 hairdressers). The hotel was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure the day ran smoothly. The holt is transparent with all costs and extremely budget friendly. The hotel is beautiful and surrounded by beautiful gardens which were perfect for our photos. We got married in the church down the road and had the rest of the wedding at the hotel. Everyone commented on how beautiful the food was, and how lovely the hotel and surrounding areas were. The Staff were so incredibly helpful and friendly! Honestly couldn't recommend the Holt enough! We are so happy we found the Holt Hotel for our Wedding!

Excellent Place!

The team at Holt Hotel is truly wonderful. We hosted a wedding here, and the team was nothing but excellent. We felt like VIPs all throughout. The food during our event was delectable and the wines were lush! Special mention to Mon who went above and beyond to help us make our event happen with such short notice. The rooms are excellent - we can't fault them. The breakfast was delicious, decor was stylish and the location is perfect. Thanks so much to the whole team!

Wedding guest party

Stayed at the Holt for a family wedding. The manager and staff were brilliant, couldn’t do enough for you. Asked 2 different receptionist about the history and both were very knowledgeable. Stayed in family room nice added touch double bed with divided door from 2 twin beds.

I cannot imagine anywhere putting on a wedding bet

My family and I attended our friend’s wedding on the 23rd Feb. I cannot imagine anywhere putting on a wedding better than this. Nice place for such an event and you also managed good weather for the occasion. The wedding breakfast was first class as was everything else. Well done!

We had an incredible wedding ceremony and lunch at The Holt Hotel! The day was managed to perfection by Petr and his team who made our day so very special. We had a beautiful lunch following the civil ceremony, food was delicious and what a wonderful spread of deserts for our guests to choose from. Thanks to all of the team for putting big smiles on our faces and making our day memorable. The sun even came out for us to have some photos in the hotels beautiful grounds.

We felt the wedding package offered good value, es

We had our wedding at The Holt recently and were very pleased we chose the venue. The sales manager, Emma, was friendly and organised from the day of first meeting to the wedding itself. In planning the wedding, email communications were great with all questions answered along the way. The main function room was renovated fairly recently, and it was lovely. The gardens also looked great, albeit too cold to use them much on our wedding day. The food was delicious and guests gave many positive comments. We felt the wedding package offered good value, especially compared to other venues locally. Emma was on hand throughout the day, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Other staff were friendly and helpful also.

I was so lucky to have my wedding day at the holt

The Holt Hotel is a beautiful place. The team are fantastic! Nothing is to much trouble for them during your stay. I was so lucky to have my wedding day at the holt hotel, i couldnt of asked for a better time. Emma our wedding planner was amazing, she helped us every step of the way. The hotel is clean and tidy and the breakfast is scrumptious. The value for money is excellent!! I would really recommend!

Cannot recommend this place enough. A beautiful ol

Had 20 rooms for the weekend for our daughters wedding. The staff were outstanding. Emma, Petr and Sean couldn't do enough for us. Made all of our guests so welcome. They were absolutely outstanding with their management of our function. The chefs And their serving team, prepared and served a 3 course meal for 90 guests and not one single complaint except the size of the portions, which were massive!!

The food was absolutely 5 star and hot and every table got exactly what they ordered.

From the moment we arrived until we left on the Sunday, the whole experience was phenomenal.

Cannot recommend this place enough. A beautiful old coaching house with so much character.

I have no hesitation in recommending The Holt for

Had my daughter's wedding breakfast (approx 100 seated people) and evening reception (approx 150 people) her. Top class food and hospitality, including the level of service provided. All staff were most helpful and friendly, Emma the wedding event manager could not be more helpful and accommodating with all the arrangements for a very enjoyable and successful event for my daughter and son in law.

My wife and I also stayed overnight at the hotel after the wedding reception. We found our room comfortable and having plenty of space to relax. Managed to get a good night's sleep as the bed was very comfortable. All room facilities were well presented.

The hotel as a whole has a good atmosphere, with plenty of communal areas to relax, also as well as a restaurant there is a bar available to sit and enjoy good menu of bar meals.

I have no hesitation in recommending The Holt for a wedding reception or overnight stays.

We would recommend this hotel very highly.

We had our wedding reception here which was an amazing day. From planning through to the day itself, Emma the Sales Manager, could not have done anything more to make the day special for us. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and professional, with the food being amazing and we have received so many comments regarding this.

The character of the building is why we originally chose this venue, and the Blenheim Suite where we stayed overnight is very special.

We would recommend this hotel very highly.

Thank you for making our wedding day so special.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Holt Hotel and we couldn’t of been happier!
Emma the sales manager and her team were fantastic. Excellent communication up until the big day and the day itself couldn’t of run any smoother and that is thanks to Emma and her team.
The food was exceptional and our guests were very impressed. Compliments to the chef!
The wedding package was amazing value for money. Thank you for making our wedding day so special. We will be back very soon to enjoy the Sunday carvery.

Absolutely brilliant

We had just the most perfect day for our daughter, the staff were great, nothing was any trouble. The food was hot, well timed and excellent. A lovely setting; the gardens great for photos etc.
