Chicheley Hall

We booked Chicheley hall as soon as we came to visit a month after our engagement in March/ April 2023. The sweeping staircase instantly sold the venue for us making it the perfect setting for our Valentine’s Day wedding three years later.
In the long lead up we came to various events at Chicheley hall enjoying the countdown with our very own dream venue. This included an afternoon tea where I did my bridesmaid proposal.
Sadly at our final details meeting our coordinator sprung on us the fact she had in left introducing us to Jenny. To be honest this threw us, having planned with one person for almost three years and suddenly having to get to know someone else in such a short time. Jenny was brilliant. She worked through our worries being calm, reassuring and kind to the whole situation, the perfect person for the job. She was open in communication and helped us work through any hurdles, nothing was too much to ask.
Fast forward to our day, it cannot be described as anything but pure magic. The whole team felt like our personal best friends, genuinely wanting the best for us and going above and beyond to help. Especially as we had so many little touches like our private vows/ first touch and surprise journey to Chicheley in a super car. Jenny and the staff checked in throughout the getting ready process, they coordinated the ceremony like true professionals. The turn around between ceremony and wedding breakfast was flawless and so well managed exactly how we had envisioned. Gonzarlo brought such character and fun to our wedding breakfast, making our 7 year old son feel like a little celebrity when he did his speech he had planned on his own. Chef Simon pulled it out the bag with our guests complex dietary requirements and high expectations for our vegetarian wedding, I have never had a meal quite like our wedding breakfast. Rachel managed the whole evening with ease checking in and giving us priceless advice. When our sparklers refused to light due to our own poor storage Rachel got it sorted quickly and we still managed to have our special moment. The whole lead up to our big day we said we wanted to feel like guests at our wedding, enjoying everything we had worked so hard to plan and taking it all in. Thanks to everyone at Chicheley Hall thats exactly how we felt. Sharing smiles and laughter with the team the whole day, you really were all apart of our special day. The sadness the next day felt like we were leaving our home. Please don’t second guess booking Chicheley hall, if you love the venue it is the place for you!

Jenni and the entire team hosted our wedding, and they were absolutely perfect from start to finish.

The venue itself genuinely felt like something out of a fairytale, but what made the experience truly special was the incredible level of service we received. Jenni and the team took care of absolutely everything, removed all of the stress from our shoulders, and allowed us to simply relax and enjoy one of the most important days of our lives.

Every detail was handled brilliantly, and we felt completely looked after throughout. Surprisingly, given the age and history of the hall, the rooms didn’t appear to be haunted at all, which was a definite bonus! 🤣

I honestly cannot recommend this venue and its team highly enough. Believe me when I say, you need to have your wedding here!

The service even continued the following morning. After a particularly delightful wedding-day hangover meant I missed breakfast, the CEO of the venue personally offered to have the chefs cook something for me. That small gesture really summed up the whole experience, nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

Thank you to Jenni and the entire team for giving us such an incredible wedding and memories we’ll treasure forever. We loved it so much that we’re already planning our next visit for afternoon tea!

We had our wedding at Chicheley Hall and had such a positive experience from the early planning stages to the wedding day itself. Everything felt smooth and well organised, and the staff were always friendly, accommodating and helpful.

A special mention has to go to Jennifer, our wedding planner, who was absolutely amazing. She coordinated everything brilliantly, made the whole process feel easy and was genuinely a pleasure to work with.
We would definitely recommend Chicheley Hall for a wedding or any celebration. It’s a beautiful countryside period manor, with gorgeous grounds, and having accommodation available on site was a huge plus for us and our guests.

The venue is perfect for a more intimate/medium sized wedding or celebration for up to 100 guests, and ideal if you’re looking for something elegant, historic and surrounded by beautiful countryside.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding at Chicheley Hall. From start to finish, the team were incredibly organised, relaxed and responsive, which made the whole experience so much easier and enjoyable.

Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and they were always on hand to answer our questions and help with anything we needed. Most importantly, we genuinely felt that they cared about our big day and wanted everything to be as special and perfect for us as it could be.

The venue itself was beautiful, and the whole day exceeded our expectations. We’re so grateful to the entire team at Chicheley Hall for helping make our wedding so memorable. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue

I cannot express my gratitude enough to the team at Chicheley Hall for giving us our dream wedding. The staff, the wonderful Jenni who showed us around and took our many, many enquiries, Kelly who made her personal mission to make sure each and every single detail was considered, together with Georgina who put out multiple “fires” on our wedding day, truly made the day a dream come true. Chicheley Hall is a magnificent wedding venue. It is incredibly picturesque and breathtaking. But you can see that for yourself. This shouldn’t be why you book this venue, though. You should book it because the staff are completely and utterly incredible. We had issues with third party vendors not affiliated with Chicheley Hall, and when I tell you that the staff, in particular, Kelly was there, front and centre, sorting things out without me even knowing. Oh - she also dressed according to our theme. Then the food. We were picky. Not only did we need an entirely halal menu, including a grazing board, we also wanted to tweak the mains. The chef was incredibly accommodating and took on the extra task without complaint. I was genuinely so moved by the staff’s determination to make the day go by as smoothly as possible; from the multiple planning meetings and preparations to the logistics on the day, these people will have a special place in my heart forever.

Everything about Chicheley Hall is perfection. I don’t even know where to start because everything about it was amazing, coming from a party with high standards who are usually hard to please(!):
1. Every part of the food was perfection - the food came out piping hot, the portion sizes were good, everything was flavoursome and very tasty. The chef was flexible with menu choices and tailored the day to make exactly what we wanted.
2. The service was impeccable, the food was brought out promptly and cleared away promptly, drinks were flowing, and someone is always around to help.
3. The planning team, Jenni & Georgina could not have done more for us! They provided endless support, both moral and practical. They handled all logistics, liaised with suppliers, co-ordinated timings, and run the show so smoothly they made it look easy. Security, Gonzalo, was so friendly and helpful throughout too.
4. The team dealt with turning over the spaces to ensure everything was ready for us for each stage of the day: our drinks reception, wedding breakfast, evening supper, disco, cake cutting, breakfast the next day - everything was covered, even taking steps to ensure the bridal bouquets were dried before use.
5. The venue itself is beautiful. It oozes character, personality and charm. It is romantic, quaint and classy. The elegance is unmatched. The space is the perfect size with a variety different rooms including the bar, the dance floor, a quiet comfy room, and use of the whole grounds, with walled gardens, a beautiful lake, and magnificent greenery.
The original flooring, crests, arches, tapestry, fire places, grand stair case, and the witch stairs are so unique and unmatched. Unlike many venues we had use of the entire house and grounds.
6. The beautiful 17th century church on site with a charming cobbled pathway to the venue is a huge selling point if you are looking for a traditional English wedding.
7. There are no rules! Unlike some venues, there was no sound limit, no strict curfew, the team never said ‘no’ to us. Anything goes so you can really make the day what you want it to be.
8. Unlike most venues we viewed, Chicheley Hall has 47 rooms on site which were soooo cosy allowing for most of our guests to stay over, meaning everybody could enjoy the party even more! These were comfortable, clean, and spacious.
9. The getting ready room is open for the bridal party as early as you need it. It was a gorgeous space and one of my favourite parts of the day, with chilled music and breakfast brought to us whilst we got ready. Plenty of natural light, mirrors, a dressing table, chairs, hangers. The team ran between the bridal party and the groomsmen to help with passing messages and items as needed.
10. Maximum capacity in the day was 80 for a sit down meal in the main house which is one of the highest I found (excluding marquees which we didn’t want). For the evening, there was no real max capacity, it was very flexible.
It just couldn’t have been better. Every single guest has been signing their praises. Best wedding ever; I cannot recommend this highly enough!!! It was just faultless.

We honestly cannot thank the new team at Chicheley Hall enough for making our wedding day so incredibly special. From the moment we met our wedding coordinator, Kelly, we knew we were in safe hands. She was absolutely fantastic from start to finish and deserves a huge amount of recognition for the care and dedication she gave us.

Nothing was ever too much trouble for Kelly. Communication throughout the planning process was fantastic, and whenever we had a question or query, we could contact the team easily and it was always dealt with promptly. We never felt like we were a bother, and that reassurance made such a difference in the build-up to our wedding.

On the day itself, Kelly was an absolute blessing. She coordinated everything seamlessly while also making sure I was okay, reminding me about little things and taking care of things behind the scenes so that I could simply enjoy my wedding day. I genuinely don't know what I would have done without her!

Our guests were absolutely stunned by Chicheley Hall, both the venue itself and the facilities. The setting was beautiful and provided the perfect backdrop for our special day.

The wedding breakfast was incredible. The food was hot, beautifully presented, the portion sizes were generous and there were fantastic options to choose from. Our guests are STILL talking about the food, including the evening buffet, which is a testament to how good it was!

Every member of staff working on our wedding day worked incredibly hard and went above and beyond to make sure every guest was looked after. You could genuinely see how much effort went into making the day run smoothly.

There is honestly not one thing we would change or complain about. If anything, our only complaint is that we wish we could do it all again!

A huge thank you to Kelly and every single member of the Chicheley Hall team who played a part in our special day. You helped create memories that we will treasure forever, and we couldn't recommend you highly enough.

It was a beautiful venue with stunning grounds, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There was good communication between us and the coordinators prior to our wedding day, and overall we found it to be good value for money. We loved the extra finishing touches they added to the venue; as we got married in December it was lovely to have some festive decorations to match the beauty of the venue.

We got married on Sunday 21st June 2026, and honestly, our day couldn’t have been more perfect, largely due to the incredible venue and wonderful setting, as well as Kelly and Rachel.

From the very first time me and my wife view Chicheley Hall, the setting completely took our breath away. The main hall and outdoor spaces especially are really special. They're relaxed, beautiful, and just the perfect backdrop for such an important day.

A huge thank you has to go to our wedding coordinator, Kelly and the young evening supervisor, Rachel. Both of were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Kelly was on hand nice and early to help set up the staircase and main hall decorations. She was also fantastically keeping both of us and our wedding parties updated with progress and what we would have to do next before the ceremony started. Rachel took over from Kelly just before the wedding breakfast. She too was absolutely brilliant, ensuring that our wedding breakfast ran smoothly with courses not being sent out too far apart from each other. She made sure that everything was set up for the speeches, and she was vital to making sure the DJ got sent and that the cake cutting happened without delay. It genuinely felt like they cared just as much about our day as we did.

The wedding breakfast courses were delicious, and the portion sizes for each course was very generous. We had some excellent feedback from our guest about the food, all of them were very happy. The evening buffet was also very nice, there were plenty of options available and everything tasted fresh and exquisite.

Everything ran so smoothly, which meant we could fully relax and enjoy every moment with our friends and family. The whole experience felt effortless, exactly what you hope for on your wedding day.

My advice to other couples would be to definitely go and visit Chicheley Hall both for afternoon tea and for one of their many wedding fairs that they run throughout the year. Have a chat with either Kelly or Jennifer who will more than happily answer any questions you may have. I would advise also checking out as many rooms upstairs as you can. As part of our wedding package, we got 13 rooms to allocate for guests (Max 2 people per room). Some rooms are bigger and more spacious as others so it can be tricky to decide how to share them out amongst the guest you wish to stay the night at the venue with you.

We’ll be recommending this venue to everyone for years to come. Thank you for giving us a day we’ll never forget!

We got married here last month and we were so impressed with the venue. The venue and grounds are just wonderful. We had our ceremony in the church within the grounds which made it perfect for us. All of our guests commented on how amazing the food and portion sizes were. We had a new wedding co-ordinator, Kelly, take over a month or so before our day but she was fantastic. We could not speak to Kelly high enough. The value of money also impressed us. The day exceeded our expectations and getting exclusive use of the house and grounds makes the day so feel exclusive.

We had a fantastic time. The staff were great especially Jenny, Kelly, Rachel and Gonzalo were amazing. They made sure everything went smoothly and was very supportive. The venue is beautiful and our day was perfect. We loved it, we would definitely recommend it.

From the moment we booked with Chicheley Hall the team were so helpful. I'm not the sort who has been planning my wedding for years so had no idea where to start!

I would suggest attending the wedding fayre open days/evenings, we found our hairdresser and florist on these days - Kerry Ann hair and Charlotte Ayre florist. Both were amazing!
Charlotte really goes above and beyond in helping us plan the decor.

The food was delicious, we met Chef Simon at our tasting and had to have the canapes as the sliders were unbelievable! I felt too excited to eat much on the day, my only regret is i didn't force myself to eat the slider or the food in the evening!

Kelly was brilliant on the day, nothing was too big an ask and she is so bubbly it really helped me relax and enjoy the day. She even arranged my train, you can see her in action on Chicheley's social media!

If we could relive our wedding day again, and again, and again, we would. We loved every moment of it from start to finish. The venue was perfect for our dream day, our guests continue to tell us how stunning the venue was and how amazing the food was. Definitely recommend Chicheley Hall for anyone looking to get married.

We had an absolutely wonderful wedding at Chicheley Hall. It was great value for money and the staff were amazing. The wedding was planned so well by Jenni and Kelly ahead of the day, and on the day, Kelly, Rachel and the rest of the team made sure the day ran smoothly and all of the guests had a wonderful time. Compliments as well to the chef who served delicious canapés, wedding breakfast and evening food - it was all served hot, professionally and generous portions. We’d love to do it all again!
