Fantastic wedding at The Manor House
My husband and I got married on 13th April 2013 at this venue. We had an incredible day (despite the weather) and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The wedding planners met with us on two occassions to ensure everything ran smoothly prior to the day. The portion sizes of the dinner were HUGE and the venue accommodated our 90 guests well for the sit down dinner. We had an incident with our chair cover company who failed to deliver the correct amount of chair covers I had ordered and then refused to come back when called. The Manor House realised this and swiflty organised for another company to come along to the venue and make up enough chair covers for our guests and ensured I knew exactly what was happening. It was all sorted in time thanks to their organised staff! We had a couple of other hiccups but nothing major. Overall, we were very pleased with the venue. The only real negative was not being able to use the beautiful grounds due to the terrible rain (def beyond the venue control!). We had a fab day nonetheless.Sent on 23/05/2013

Our perfect wedding at a lovely venue
The support from the wedding coordinators and staff was absolutely superb - from the very first meeting and then through to the extreme hard work and attention to detail on the day.Sent on 22/04/2013
The ceremony room is simple yet elegant, here is a large bar/sofa area that is great for post-ceremony mingling or for quieter chats when the band is playing in the banqueting room, and the gardens are large and very pretty. There are lots of sweet little nooks for photos and it's all very green and charming. The banqueting hall was large and the staff set up our tables perfectly. The meal was a great success and on the day everyone was raving about the food (and portion sizes). The music stopped at midnight - but the hotel was still really accommodating for the few nightowls who wanted to stay up chatting (and having the odd glass of wine..) well into the small hours!
All in all....It was FANTASTIC. We had a wonderful day - and amazing photos to prove it.
