We all so enjoyed our day, Tessa was great on the build up and also on the day, all the staff friendly whilst remaining professional, service was perfect. Food delicious, we received exactly what was sold to us. And everyone commented about the fantastic atmosphere… well done all of you.

We had our wedding here in early autumn and loved it - the venue, ceremony space and catering are great and the gardens and outdoor areas are a really nice bonus, made for some lovely photos as it was sunny. Also, try and find the peacock if you can - my wife loved him… would definitely recommend though I think you’d get the best value on a sunny day to be able to maximise the outdoor space for photos - so aim for spring and summer. Overall, this is an underrated location and definitely really good value in terms of price compared to London venues.

We can not recommend Guildford Manor enough, our wedding was a dream come true! Tessa Stewart and all the staff were brilliant and very helpful! The lead up to the wedding Tessa made sure everything was in place and we had nothing to worry about. The afternoon tea was perfect and all our guests were catered for. The venue itself is so beautiful and it was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you to all the staff for making our day run smoothly and we can not wait to visit again!

Cannot recommend this venue enough for our wedding! The staff were amazing and made sure we didn't need to worry about anything. Special shout out to Tessa in particular who was extremely helpful and supportive throughout the planning process, answering all of our questions in the lead up and was on hand during the day to make sure the day went off without a hitch. Absolutely beautiful venue and spa with the added extra of a peacock who made an appearance later in the day!

We held our wedding at Guildford Manor at the start of June 2023. It was a brilliant day & our guests all had a fantastic time celebrating with us. We looked at a lot of other venues in the area before viewing Guildford Manor but immediately knew Guildford Manor was perfect for us once we visited and saw the grounds & the Lytton Suite where we held our wedding breakfast and evening reception. The room is gorgeous and the package included lots of decorations already set up in the room, such as the lovely chairs, dining set, lovely glassware & blossom trees etc. The Bloomsbury Suite where we held our ceremony is also really pretty. The venue looks really fab in our wedding pictures. The back field area and gardens are wonderful and a perfect space for wedding guests to relax in & ideal for taking lots of pictures. Tessa our wedding manager was extremely professional, friendly & easy to communicate with, she was great at giving advice on scheduling for the day but was also flexible and listened well to what we wanted. Staff at the hotel were pleasant & were great at keeping every thing running smoothly & on time on the big day. Food was very good. The spa at the hotel is also really nice & relaxing if staying before or after the wedding. We had a gorgeous wedding day in a wonderful setting!

It was an amazing day. Can’t fault the staff and team on the day, it went really smoothly.
Unfortunately we were going to have the ceremony outside, but at the crucial point it rained, so it was hurriedly moved inside, but it all went off without a hitch.
The food was lovely, the grounds, the set up, just was all as I had hoped it would be.
I would love to do it all over again, so I can hold on to the memories better, as it all went past so fast.

We held our wedding reception here in April 2022. The day was absolutely perfect and the staff did everything they could to make it run smoothly. They were friendly, helpful and the food and facilities were excellent. Most of our guests stayed at the hotel and made use of the spa and said how much they'd enjoyed it. It is a great reception venue as there are several different spaces to use for drinks, wedding breakfast and dancing, and it all flows well. The patio area is lovely too. Overall, it was an amazing day and we are very grateful to Douglas, Becky and all the team!

Guildford Manor was our perfect venue, as soon as we walked into the ceremony room we knew it was where we had to get married. We had the most amazing wedding day and all of our guests loved the venue. The ceremony room is beautiful, and the reception room is just so perfect for the wedding breakfast and evening reception. The food was so lovely and all delivered with perfect timing and the buffet food in the evening was also incredible! Make sure someone gets you a plate as we didn't manage to get much of it as we were too busy enjoying ourselves. I would also highly recommend popping over to Newlands Corner with your photographer if you have 20 minutes to have a moment for just the two of you. Thank you to everyone at Guildford Manor who made our day so special, we can't wait to revisit for our 1st anniversary.

We got married on the 20th August 2021. From the day we visited the venue to the morning after our wedding everything was perfect. The communication from Douglas (Event manager) was unbelievable. He answered any questions we had and always put our mind at ease. He managed to personalise everything the way we wanted it to be!

On the day everything ran so smoothly. Douglas and all of the staff handled everything so well, if there was a problem they came up with a solution straight away it didn’t once affect our special day. I would recommend anyone to go and visit the hotel! They have had an amazing refurbishment and we were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside in the pavilion and the grounds were just beautiful!

I can’t thank everyone at the hotel enough for everything they done for me and my husband. It was truly unbelievable

Our wedding day was not as we had planned due to Covid but Douglas and his team at Guildford Manor did all they could to make our day special.
The ceremony room was set up perfectly and the room was swiftly changed around so that we could have a amazing afternoon tea. It was a happy, stress free day thanks to the hard work of the team at Guildford Manor.
The grounds are perfect for some amazing photos to be taken.
We are now looking forward to having the full reception later in the year.

We had our wedding during Covid-19, end of September 2020, at Guildford Manor Hotel. Due to the restrictions we decided to postpone our large wedding for 2 years and instead have a small ceremony on our original date. The hotel was very accommodating about this and we are looking forward to working with them again to organise our celebrations in 2022.
The hotel had undergone recent renovations when we had viewed and booked our wedding date back in November 2019. The ceremony room was nicely set up and decorated. Due to reduced numbers we had a family meal in the restaurant rather than use the function room. The staff at Guildford Manor Hotel made changes very quickly to help with the flow of the day, as most of our guests were staying at the hotel that evening, they changed the ceremony room into a function room for a meal and drinks in the evening to keep us private from other hotel guests. We had multiple meals at the hotel for breakfast, our wedding meal and dinner over the course of our 3 night stay and the food was always delicious.
The hotel rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable with some lovely views. It was a lovely touch to have chocolates and small bottle of prosecco in the wedding suite. Only negative was the jacuzzi bath (jets for jacuzzi) didn’t work but this was going to be investigated after our stay. The hotel was quiet and highlighted to people if they were not following Covid guidelines such as wearing a mask around the hotel. The pool and spa area (only the sauna and steam room closed due to social distancing) was clean and had restrictions on numbers in the area but did not feel anyone was missing out on using the area during their stay.
We would recommend Guildford Manor Hotel for anyone wanting to stay for vacation or wedding.

We got married here on 20th October and everything was perfect. It goes without saying that the grounds are stunning, no matter the weather. The spa, gym and pool were all glorious and spacious. Nothing was too much for the reception team, and Tessa who was our coordinator was quite simply a queen. She made us feel at ease from the moment we met her. The wedding went without a hitch, the food was simply put- devine. Even people that didnt like fish liked this fish. Phenomenal. We had the best time and couldnt have asked for more. Thank you Tessa and team. All the love!!!

Absolutely loved having our wedding at Guildford Manor. The space is lovely for the amount of guests we had (60ish), and really corresponded well with our styling. The outdoor space is brilliant too and very well kept. The venue is very responsibly priced for what you get, definitely value for money and a totally stress free experience.
