Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Surrey Hills in Guildford, Surrey, Guilford Manor Hotel & Spa is an idyllic wedding venue. Set within almost 10 acres of countryside, this boutique hotel has a wealth of photo opportunities. It's able to host both indoor & outdoor ceremonies on its romantic grounds. The hotel is situated a 10-minute drive from Guildford town centre and 25 miles from Central London. It's located approximately 30 minutes from both Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
Facilities and Capacity
Outdoor ceremonies at Guildford Manor Hotel & Spa are hosted at The Pavilion, a breathtakingly natural and romantic setting for exchanging your vows. Indoor ceremonies are held in the Bloomsbury Suite, a bright and airy hall with high ceilings, views of the grounds and an elegant feel. Both areas can seat a maximum of 120 guests for your Ceremony.
Your Wedding Breakfast and Evening Reception will take place in the Lytton Strachey Suite. This versatile space features its own fully-stocked bar and direct access to a private furnished terrace. The room is finished with neutral colours and soft lighting, meaning it can easily adapt to most colour schemes. The Lytton Strachey Suite can seat 120 guests for your seated Wedding Breakfast and 200 guests for your Evening Reception, with a combination of seated and standing.

With 51 bedrooms, in-house catering, spa facilities, and parking for your guests, this venue lets you celebrate your whole wedding day in one place. Sparklers are permitted for a memorable celebration.
Dry Hire
We do have Dry hire available upon request. Please be aware that our maximum numbers for the day are 120 guests for the ceremony and dinner service and 200 guests for your Evening Reception.

Great wedding venue!
Guildford Manor Hotel was a stunning location for our wedding. The grounds are impeccably maintained, and the outdoor area with jacuzzi and amazing views provided perfect photo opportunities throughout the day.
The wedding room itself was bright and airy with huge windows letting in beautiful natural light, and the breakfast room was simple, elegant and lovely.
Sam, our wedding coordinator, and his team were superb - really efficient and organized, which made everything run smoothly. We felt well looked after from start to finish.
To be completely honest, a couple of guest rooms weren't perfect - one had a blocked shower tray and another had a toilet that wasn't working. However, given the fantastic location, the beautiful setting, and the excellent service we received on the day, we're really happy with the value for money.
We'd definitely recommend Guildford Manor Hotel as a wedding venue - the positives far outweigh the minor negatives.

There’s no where else I’d rather get married
We got married at Guildford Manor in July and we had such an amazing day. We could not have asked for a better day. The venue is absolutely stunning and the staff were so lovely, responding to all of our needs. There were lots of behind the scenes aspects that I was not even aware of on the day as the team at the venue were so well versed in what they were doing it made the day run seamlessly. I was also impressed with how well they catered for dietary needs, ensuring all of our guests had what they needed. I would definitely recommend this venue for a wedding.

Absolutely amazing wedding day!!
We were looked after by Sam from the wedding & events team and he was amazing. We had the best day and our guests all adored the venue and said it was one of the best weddings and venues they have ever attended!

An enchanting and wonderful wedding venue
We just got home for our wedding on 5th July 2025 and had the most phenomenal time at Guildford Manor!! Wedding co-ordinator Susmit was extremely thorough and answered emails for months ahead of all the small details and in person visits. Venue is stunning in all areas, with incredibly spacious and gorgeous gardens for our games and photos, right by Newlands corner viewpoint, food was amazing quality and we just cried with happiness at how amazing our wedding was! We are so grateful to Guildford Manor for having our dream wedding!!

Fairytale Venue
I had my dream of fairytale wedding in June 2024.
The venue is so surreal ans stunning. The grounds provide the perfect backdrop and setting for wedding photos. Thee ground are huge and even have a Peacock on Grounds to add more flair.
The wedding events team were very kind, friendly, responsive and great to work with during the planning over the day.
A great venue and would defo recommend !!

Can't wait for our wedding!
We booked this venue for September this year after visiting the hotel. We met with the owner and her events manager and we were bowled over by the beautiful venue and their professionalism, that we booked immediately! Our events manager responds to all emails in a very timely manner and nothing is too much to ask... We cannot wait to hold our wedding here!

Perfect day
We can’t thank Ishika and the team for making our wedding day perfect, down to every last demand and detail the team bent over backwards to make our day as perfect as we wanted it to be.

Autumn wedding
We have had nothing but excellent service from Ishika and her team, nothing has been too much trouble for her. From dietary requirements to ground floor accommodation to putting midnight snacks into our guests rooms. The whole set up has been so professional, quick response to my many emails. We were able to put out our chosen decorations the day before. On our day, breakfast was delivered promptly to my room, make up lady shown up, flower girls also. Ishika was always on hand, discretion at all times. Our ceremony went off smoothly, again under the watchful eye of Ishika, drinks and canapés served promptly. Our meal was 1st class so many comments on just how tasty it was. The room was transformed for the evening so smoothly, again under Ishika watchful eye. We had most of our families staying and without exception they all slept well in the comfy rooms, breakfast was a relaxing affair the following morning, no one felt rushed to check out. We will definitely be back and will 100% recommend this hotel and wedding venue.

Fantastic experience with warming service
First , We are so happy with the locations. The hotel located just 10 around mins drive from the guidford station, is convienient for all the guests who using the public transport .
Second , The garden of the hotel full with all kind of flowers , lavender , rose jasmine etc... is so beautiful .
Third , The service and management are the Best of the best . You can talk to them anything you want . what kind of wedding you want ?What food you want to serve to the guest ? They will try to do anything to fufil yr desire .

Above and beyond to make our day special
I would say from the very start it was perfect but felt communication and making our vision what we wanted wasn't quite so from the start with the wedding coordinator leaving and communications were a little slow during this time. However when Ishika arrived and took over she was fantastic from the get go, we felt heard and respected. She took on board everything we asked of her and nothing was too much to deal with. She was flexible in helping cater required meal choices for guests that couldn't or for some reason had an alternative course to others. Tweaked the kids menu for us as the original dessert choice seemed boring. Was on the ball in smooth transition in managing the set up of our wedding despite running one the day before. The set up she did was everything we wanted and more, she did a beautiful job even handling a mishap with our cake stand not playing ball. We can't thank her enough for managing our day. Huge thanks from Mr and Mrs Jones 🙂
Also top marks to the chef, the food received many compliments!
HR team/reservations could of been a little better, some of the front desk team were lovely, some could perhaps do with some additional training in handling customers.
