Wedding Venues in East – England

We had our wedding at Dunston hall at the end of May this year. The venue and grounds are stunning. We used to different rooms for our day. We had our ceremony in the Eaton suite which has a church feeling with a big fireplace. When then had our wedding breakfast in the La Fontaine which is a modern reception room with access to the gardens. The staff were fantastic and both Emily and Erika worked really hard to make sure we had a perfect day. If you’re looking for a classic Manor House wedding I cannot recommend Dunston hall enough.

We recently had our wedding at Woodville, and it was truly a dream come true. The outdoor setting was absolutely breathtaking, with a ceremony area in the woods that felt like something out of a fairy tale. Some great views of the countryside which was a stunning backdrop for photos and a beautiful atmosphere for our guests to enjoy. From the start of the planning process to the final details, Mike and the team went above and beyond to make our day special. We highly recommend Woodville Weddings, It’s the perfect place to celebrate and create memories that will last a lifetime!

Charlotte and James couldn't do enough for us. From booking til leaving the day behind they were truly a delight to deal with. An amazing venue with great picturesque views.

Charlotte was a great planner and helped us a lot on the lead up and on the day. The venue is very pretty and makes you feel as thought you are miles away from anything and the marquee allows a lot of space of socialise and mingle. If I could get married again I would get married here. !!!

From our initial visit through to the actual reception date nothing was too much trouble. On the day Michelle was helping lacing me into my dress and stayed late to make sure the meal service was perfect. Stephanie kept us on track with her knowledge and past experience and informative emails. Our day was perfect and all our guests have said what a fantastic day!

If I could live our wedding day at Chalkney Water Meadows over again every week I would happily do it! It was incredible, magical, emotional, beautiful, joyful, hilarious... just everything! Gill is one of the warmest, funniest and most reassuring people I've ever met, and I can't thank her enough for bringing my festival-style wedding to life. No question was too big, too small, or too random and she just got us, our day was everything we hoped for and so much more. The whole team were amazing too, from Sarah's patience with our glamping guest bookings to the brilliant bar team who kept the drinks flowing all day and night. If you're not sure whether to book a Browning Bros wedding venue, I say DO IT! Trust me, you won't regret it - your day will be unforgettable, and the photos will be stunning! P.s. book the Kingfisher's Nest for the weekend (or longer) for your stay over - it's AMAZING!!

Hello, We just wanted to say a massive thank you for making our day so special yesterday. Everything was absolute perfection from the delicious canapés to the Michelin quality meal. All our guests commented how it was the best meal they had ever had at a wedding. The staff were so attentive and nothing was to much trouble! We would like to say a specific thank you to Jeramy, Bogdan and Clive they really made our day stress free and are a real credit to the hotel. Libby and Charlotte made the planing stages of our wedding stress free by always replying to emails promptly and guiding us through step by step. The Ivy hill team made our day every thing we could have imagined and more. Thank you!

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding reception venue! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The staff went above and beyond to set everything up exactly how we wanted it, paying attention to every detail and making sure our vision came to life. The entire day ran so smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. A special mention has to go to Kate, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. She was incredibly helpful, professional, and accommodating, ensuring that all of our needs were met and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to Kate and the whole team for helping make our wedding reception such a memorable and stress-free experience. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for exceptional service and a truly special day!

We genuinely can't recommend Swan Tipis enough. From the very first enquiry, the communication was seamless. Rob, Laura, and the team were attentive, organised, and incredibly helpful. They took the time to understand our preferences, offered brilliant vendor suggestions, and were easy to coordinate with when we brought in additional suppliers. The food was a real highlight. We had a BBQ for lunch, and pizzas in the evening. There was loads of it, and every guest commented on how delicious everything was! On the day, the Swan team were absolutely phenomenal. I’d expected to be managing the schedule and logistics, but they took care of everything. Whenever I thought of something, it was already done or being handled. Their calm, proactive approach meant we could fully relax and enjoy every moment. The venue itself is stunning. The pub is cosy and welcoming, and the outdoor space is perfect for games and mingling. Our guests loved our garden games—welly wanging, pick-up sticks, giant Jenga, and Connect 4 kept everyone entertained all day. We had so many compliments from guests about the food, the service, and the beautiful setting. Huge thanks to Rob, Laura, and the entire Swan team—you made our day unforgettable. We’d recommend Swan Tipis in a heartbeat. (I would upload more photos but took so few on the day as was having such a good time, and professional ones not back yet!!)

I dont even know where to start! We got married at Letchworth Hall Hotel on Easter weekend, with many of our guests and ourselves staying for the whole weekend. From the minute we checked in to the minute we left everything was perfect! All the guests who stayed said there rooms were spotless, so comfortable and would definitely be back! Not forgetting the rooms they gave us for our bridal suite - beautiful! The venue were so flexible with all my requests during planning and took care of the whole set up of the day at every part. We didnt have to worry about anything! The food was insane, we had pizza for canapés (cant tell you how many guests have said they need to go back for more pizza at the hotel), a lovely 3 course meal and burger bar for evening. The team at Letchworth Hall went above and beyond to help make our day absolutely perfect and we couldnt be more thankful. Everyone was so friendly and professional and made every part of the day seamless! We cannot fault a single part! The most beautiful venue with the most wonderful team who gave us the most magical day.
