I cannot recommend Apton Hall as a wedding venue enough. My husband and I got married here on Saturday 7th September and it felt like a fairy-tale dream.

The venue itself is located in the quaint countryside of Rochford and it was the perfect venue to host our family and friends. The interior decoration throughout is really thought-out and elegant. I feel that something that stands out about this venue is that you really can do exactly what you want with it and each wedding there looks completely unique. The layout makes a lot of sense for hosting, the barn-style wooden beams are beautiful and stylish, the courtyard allows for this central feel to the wedding, the accommodation is extremely well designed, contemporary and comfortable. It has a rustic yet modern feel to it. We had an outdoor wedding which we were so happy about.

The staff- honestly, the service was on another level. We worked with Hayley to plan the event and she was superb, super efficient, professional, easy to contact, offered great flexible advice and has so much experience. A really friendly and kind person. We had Emma and Lily managing our event on the day and it felt so lovely to have these great people around us. They were really calm, super kind and extremely professional. There was no question they couldn't answer and they ensured our day went smoothly. The staff serving us and the guests throughout the day were flawless. We had so many compliments from our guests as to how attentive they were, topping up drinks, going the extra mile to call people by their names and our close friends, who have extensive dietary requirements and allergies felt super relaxed because they said that the servers would acknowledge, that their meal was, for example, 'gluten free' as they were setting the meal down, so our friends said that they didn't feel that they needed to double check anything. My friends said they had never experienced that before!

They really think of everything- like sending up a plate of your wedding cake up to the honeymoon suite for the end of the night and supporting you to be in the right place at the right time in a lovely calm way throughout the day. Everything was incredibly organised and we felt like we could truly relax because we were in such good hands.

We will forever be grateful to the staff at Apton Hall for making our wedding day so memorable, stress-free and beautiful.

From the outset of our wedding journey with the Apton Hall team, we felt valued, listened to and above all cared about.

The quality of the venue, the food and the drinks were simply outstanding. Almost all of our guests commented that this was the best wedding breakfast food they had ever eaten.

However, the ultimate compliment was that all of our guests commented on the quality and professionalism of the staff on the day - they are all quite simply outstanding and a credit to your organisation and we feel privileged to have had our wedding at Apton Hall.

Highly recommend Apton Hall, they were amazing from start to finish. Beautiful venue, and even more magical with the Christmas decorations up! Cannot thank Hayley enough for all her support helping us plan our special day. Apton Hall staff are friendly, and very accommodating. The food is absolutely amazing, and everything about our day was perfect.

There's an on site dressing room you can access from 8.30am. It worked but was perhaps a little clunky when moving from the dressing room to the Dovecot at 11:30.
Guests report the day flowed well, venue was lovely and food fantastic.
We had a few concerns which we reported after the day, which were handled in a reassuring and professional manner by the wedding coordinators.
Would recommend. Worked well in the wet weather.

All the team at Apton Hall are very helpful and accommodating.
From booking initially to the day itself the whole process was easy considering the amount of details that need clarifying.

I got married on the 4th of October and we can honestly say it went perfect.
From 8am - 11:59pm it was great.
We would expect any venue to cover all the major details but this only makes you good. What makes Apton great is the small details. They are always covered.

The Staff 10/10 - from Lauren as the co-ordinator to Emma on the day and all the bar staff and waiters, nothing was ever to much.
Venue 10/10 spotless.

My advice for anyone booking Apton hall is dont be a bridezilla work with these guys and I promise your day would be great.

They know what they are doing and the are extremely good at it.

Got married at Apton Hall in August this year! We fell in love with the venue as soon as we saw it. Apton hall has everything, beautiful venue and stunning views to take great photos. The flow of the day worked through the whole venue.

All the staff were so helpful from start to finish. Lauren and Hayley were on hand leading up to the wedding and planning the day. Emma and Josh were incredible on the day. They both made the day run smoothly and was massive support. They made it so easy to plan the best day of our lives.

The food, the service, the venue, everything was perfect. They really made our vision come alive.

Everything went on with such professionalism and accuracy. I didn't wear a watch all day, but knew the time based on what was happening. The staff were so polite and friendly, from our 'main' coordinators Emma and Josh, to the back of house staff that took our items the day before and those who tied and look after us all. All of the guests spoke to highly of the venue too, the beauty and the attentiveness of staff, we didn't want for anything all day. Bring canapes to our room just for us was the perfect touch!

Apton Hall was on our list of venues in the area to scope out for our wedding. After the first visit we cancelled all our other viewings and booked in with them straight away!

First of all the venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, and so well maintained. The layout works really well and they had a great range of options for where to hold the ceremony. Having on site accommodation was also a massive plus, especially with family coming from overseas that we wanted to be able to stay close by. The new prep room for the bridal party was fantastic as was the 'granary' area for the gents to get ready. Comfortable and fitted out with everything we needed. We had a band and a DJ and both were able to fit in with no issues (and were well looked after by the venue!). We had outdoor games set up including a plastic cricket set on the big lawn, which was a real hit with the guests.

Then the staff - wow were they amazing! Hayley was our main point of contact throughout the whole process and she was so responsive and helpful - it really helped to de-stress the planning. On the rare occasion that Hayley wasn't available there was always someone else on hand who was able to help. The planning process leading up to the day was great and really helped to ensure that all our ideas could be brought to life. On the day all of the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and attentive. We had lots of compliments from our guests about how great they all were too. Big shout out to Emma and Josh, and everyone working there on the day, who helped make it so special.

The food was impeccable - we had a tasting evening ahead of the wedding date which was a lot of fun and well managed, and all of the food on the day was delicious. We had a colourful variety of allergies and dietary requirements that were handled flawlessly.

We had so much fun on our wedding day - it was actually the perfect day and using Apton Hall as a venue was a massive part of that. Thank you so much to all of the team for making it so wonderful ❤️

Where do we even start with this review… Hayley was a superstar supporting us through the planning process and was on hand 24/7 to respond to any questions we had. We had the most spectacular day and it was everything we had wished for and more. The whole day ran seamlessly and was so emotionally overwhelming. All of our decor was placed perfectly around the venue and really tied in to create the perfect aesthetic for our wedding. Josh and team were on hand throughout our day to ensure everything ran to plan and us and our guests had a memorable day. We’re big foodies, the chefs at Apton certainly didn’t disappoint. We had endless comments from our guests about how incredible the food was! We also had so many comments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was! We wish we could do it all again…
