We had an amazing experience with this wedding venue – it truly had everything we wanted for our special day. One of the things we loved most was how flexible it was; we were able to tailor our day exactly how we wanted while still staying within our budget, which made the whole planning process so much less stressful. A special mention has to go to Holly, the wedding coordinator. She was absolutely fantastic from start to finish and supported us every step of the way. We honestly can’t speak highly enough of her. On the day itself, she was calm, organised, and incredibly reassuring – even stepping in to cut our cake when one of our groomsmen started making a bit of a mess of it! We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team and would highly recommend it to anyone planning their wedding.

The Reid rooms is the perfect venue as it truly has something for everyone but not only that but the Staff were so helpful with all my questions in the planning process and also in helping everything to run smoothly on the day

Thank you so much for the incredible experience you gave us. From the moment we made the booking until the very last moment of the day, I truly can’t fault a thing. Everything was absolutely beautiful and flawlessly executed. We knew as soon as we met Umesh and saw the venue that it had to be Heron Country Club — we didn’t even bother visiting anywhere else. That first impression proved absolutely right, because what you delivered exceeded all expectations. Your attention to detail was exceptional, and the way you accommodated the entire day so effortlessly was beyond impressive. A special thank you to the chef — the food was outstanding, and our guests couldn’t stop praising it, along with the warm and attentive staff. Only Umesh and the team could have handled such a traditional and culturally rich wedding with such care, respect, and perfection. Me and my wife lily had a fantastic time at the room in the rodings where we got married in September 2025. The venue was reasonably priced, the staff were great and very helpful, but the best thing was the freedom we had to bring in our own food and drinks, and decorate the venue to our needs.

X From our very first viewing of Apton Hall, we were besotted. We walked in, I wandered off in the stables, imagining walking down the aisle in that stunning room…. we had already fallen in love with one room before even exploring the rest! Every room was beautiful, obviously, but the Snug was the seller for us. That room is such an amazing addition to an already gorgeous venue! We could rant and rave about how perfect the venue was all day but the most incredible part of that wonderful place is the team. Hayley and Emma, who we only met a handful of times, but over email, but we spoke more times than I would be prepared to admit! Their constant reassurance has been an absolute saving grace. Abby, you were there from the very start of the day and you’re an angel in human form. Josh & Will…same goes to you. You all played an integral part in our day as it felt like friends were helping the day go smoothly! Every single team member was amazing, including the kitchen and floor team who made and served us all the most incredible food, and helped me with constant reassurance of my allergies. We’re unbelievably grateful to you all.

We would just like to say a huge thank you to Jay and the team for making the day absolutely amazing. We cannot recommend masons highly enough, the food was lovely and the service was perfect, nothing was to much trouble from start to finish. First and foremost, Smeetham Hall Barn is absolutely stunning. It is truly a magical space that took our breath away the moment we arrived. Every little detail has been so thoughtfully considered, and watching everything come together on the night felt like stepping into a dream. The atmosphere, the lighting, the setting - it was all perfect. But what really made the experience exceptional was Sophie. She is an absolute star. From the very beginning, she guided us through every step with so much kindness, patience, and professionalism. No question was ever too silly, no request ever too much trouble. On the day itself, she handled everything so seamlessly that we were able to just relax and soak in every moment, knowing we were in the best hands possible. Thanks to Sophie and the entire wonderful team at Smeetham, our night was nothing short of magical. We are genuinely so grateful for everything they did to make our wedding unforgettable.

Charles and the Channels team were fantastic for our wedding. Charles was great at answering all our questions, responding promptly and was such a calming presence on our big day. The team set up all our decor perfectly and the day ran so smoothly.

Perfect venue for our wedding. So helpful, friendly and just perfect! We dry hired and i had heard themat venues arent as helpful when you dry hire but holiday inn was super helpful. All the way from planning to after the wedding! The grounds are beautiful and the weather was glorious for our outdoor ceremony and we had the best wedding reception in the Elizabeth suite and we used the lakeside suite as a childrens room and hired an entertainer. Most of our guests spent the entire weekend there. The kitchen staff at breakfast were so lovely, she even held the kitchen open for an extra 5 minutes for us the morning after the ceremony so that we could all enjoy breakfast. I'm really pleased we chose this venue.
