We cannot thank Georgie, Becky, Rebecca and the rest of the team enough for helping deliver the perfect day. They really went above and beyond from helping us capture amazing sparkler photos, fluffing the dress to walk down the isle and to even getting us to our room at the end of the night, with a midnight feast (which was very appreciated when you’ve spent all night dancing and forget to eat).
They really put our mind at ease and we were able to enjoy our wedding day without needing to worry about a thing.
Thank you all so much! We wish we could do it again.

Firstly THANK YOU for making our special day - SIMPLY THE BEST!

Working in hospitality, weddings and events it was always going to be hard to find a venue where I was confident to let go of the reins. We only got engaged in January 2023 and knew with family health concerns we needed to get on with things. We look at other venues and I struggled to see myself letting go of the control ...then we found you guys.

We had eaten at The Ffolkes many times, we even went on the night we got engaged so it was pretty special to us. It was my first though but I thought it would be way out of our budget and I was worried people wouldn't travel from Peterborough. I made the enquiry on my way home from another Norfolk venue viewing after seeing the winter offers on Instagram.

From the moment we visited the venue in April and met Becky, I knew it was the right venue for our wedding. I don't make on the spot decisions when it comes to big financial stuff but that day we booked it there and then. Even my husband and family were shocked!

The whole team Becky, Emma and Georgie were fantastic throughout the wedding planning process. I didn't have loads of time as we booked for November 2023. I was also in the middle of moving house whilst running my own hospitality business with wedding bookings. I wasn't your typical bride and our wedding wasn't exactly traditional but that wasn't a problem for the team. Every question was answered quickly, nothing was too much trouble. Even the cocktail making during the ceremony, there was other quirky requests too.

Fast forward to Wedding Weekend and it didn't disappoint. I was head strong on an outdoor ceremony but on the Friday it was clear it would be far too cold. That wasn't a problem for the team. they set up the ceremony space indoors for us and plan b was put into action. Even late night emails when they were picked up for the morning - family dramas.

When the big day arrived I was able to let go, people even commented on how chilled I was getting ready compared to most brides.

Nothing was too much trouble throughout the day, they were stars helping with my poorly name and difficult family members.

We've had some many comments from guests that it was best wedding they had been too and how amazing the food was.
I can't tell you how much it means to hear people being so complementary.

Thank you for everything you did throughout the whole process, I'm sad its over now. We will be back to The Ffolkes for special occasions as the whole place means so much to us.

Advice to other brides, Be bold and let your personalities shine. This team will make it happen!

We really cannot put into words how incredible our wedding reception was at The Stables and can't thank the team enough for all of their help and support in making our wedding day extra special. We first viewed the venue when it was going through a refurbishment so it was a building site, but even then, we were so brought into the vision shared by Emma. We never wanted a typical off-the-shelf wedding and Georgie, Emma and Becky truly took the time to understand our vision and executed it beyond our dreams. From our first interaction, the team were so helpful and welcomed my endless questions and always responded with reassurance and excitement. When we arrived at the venue following our ceremony, our decorations and wedding case was set out so perfectly, there's no way we could have done it better ourselves. The team were so fabulous when it was my turn to jump into the wedding car and set off, and it was the small touches like helping me down the stairs that meant the world to me and really helped put me at ease; it was like getting hyped for the aisle with 3 really good friends.
The Stables really made sure that all of our guests were well looked after; considering the tiniest of details which just made the evening absolutely perfect and stress-free for us, such as setting up our wedding cake beautifully, preparing us for our wedding entrance with a drink ready to hand, and keeping us on track with timings. The team went above and beyond and we cannot thank you enough. The feedback we have received from our guests has been glowing and they loved the quirkiness of the venue, laid-back atmosphere and THE FOOD. Omg the food. We knew it would be incredible but it was beyond our wildest expectations and everyone absolutely loved the variety and presentation and guests have described it as the best wedding food they have ever had. Thank you times a million!

We had our wedding at the Ffolkes April 2023 and wow we had the most amazing day. The venue is just stunning. We honestly couldn’t thank Emma and the team enough! From start to finish it was just perfect. Communication was always quick and professional. It was the little touches that helped. For example The groomsmen didn’t know how to put on their button holes and the team was there to help them. Emma was waiting at the bottom of the aisle with a beer and glass of pimms! Just what we needed. The team really had everything thought through!

The food was lovely and such a massive selection. Your guests will not go hungry!

The venue in itself is perfect. I had the most lovely evening with my bridesmaids staying in the hayloft. We had dinner in the pub the night before and then chilled out in the room. There was enough space the next day for hair, make up and photographer. The courtyard in the evening was perfect for guests. During the day a few of our younger guests went across the playground at the pub for some fun. It was nice they had this option!

Overall could not recommend this venue highly enough! I just wish I could do it all over again!
