Living locally to such an amazing venue is always a bonus however we didn’t expect it to turn out as perfect as it has!

From the first meeting we were filled with confidence that any questions or worries we had would be taken care of.

On the day we had staff waiting for us to help us get into the right places at the right time and it all went to plan. The staff are a credit to the venue and worked tirelessly to meet anything we needed.

The beautiful gardens and marquee helped set our magical day. If the weather hadn’t of held out for us the option of having the ceremony indoors as well is a massive bonus.

We really can’t thank Hockwold Hall enough for making our day go off with with our a hitch!

We are so glad we had our Wedding at Hockwold Hall and would book it again no hesitation. The venue is stunning and the accommodation is great but the thing that made it was the team. Everyone we dealt with was amazing and it genuinely felt like everyone just wants you to have the best day. Unlike other venues we had visited they are so relaxed and accommodating and nothing felt like too much trouble and it felt great value for money with no hidden extras. We had the most fun and relaxed day and this was down to the team. We had so many comments from guests praising the venue, staff and accommodation, the children loved visiting the animals too. This really is such a special venue.

We had the most fantastic wedding from start to finish! The venue is absolutely stunning! The Hockwold Team are incredible & go above and beyond to make your dream wedding come true! The day also felt very relaxed and not too strict with timings.

Everyone said how comfortable the beds were, how yummy the food was! We went for the carvery super tasty! And how cool it was having the animals to see! Awesome dance floor and games room and of course how beautiful the venue is!

We plan to book a viewing each year so we can reminisce on our special day! ❤️ Thank you so much again for everything!

We had the wedding day of our dreams. The venue is beautiful, the staff went above and beyond to help us in any way possible and all our guests commented on how amazing the whole day was. Absolutely would recommend having your dream wedding here!!

When we were looking at venues for our Wedding, we must have looked at what felt like 100 venues in a very short space of time. There were a few key things we were looking for, Accommodation for family members coming from afar, a venue where members of the public wouldn't randomly be captured in your day and somewhere that was accessible for the ceremony and evening because we had some guests who had special needs. Once we had set eyes on Hockwold, there wasn't really another option which came close. The accommodation for the day and the option to have accommodation for the night before was something that worked perfectly for what we needed. Meeting the team initially was easy and everything was laid out for us as to how the day normally works we were showed all parts of the venue, including the rooms in the house and the area for the evening do. We were absolutely blown away by each and every part of it, the absolute clincher, if we needed one, was for sure the peacocks roaming the grounds. The house, marquee and grounds are the perfect setting for a Wedding and as I say once we had been shown around there was little to no discussion afterwards because we knew we had found our venue. The team were great once we had secured the date with them, we had constant updates on when payments were needed, had a tasting with the SHEFS company that they use for the food (Which was unreal and has since ruined all other puddings and food, which doesn't stack up to their standard), there was an option for a wine tasting and other Open Days to meet other vendors that they often work with which really helped us in regards to entertainment and decoration. We also had a pre-Wedding meeting around a month before to run through all our choices and to really sure up how the day would look, which was great because after a year and a half of thinking and planning it was nice to finalise things and get your mind around how everything will look and feel on the day. When we arrived at the house the day before, we were wowed again by the house and surroundings, a feeling that never wore off no matter how many times we visited and another feeling that was expressed by each and everyone of our guests, both those who stayed in the house and those who came for just the day. When the day finally arrived the staff made sure that everyone of our needs were catered for, the day ran so smoothly considering the nervous headspace we were both in. They held food and drinks back for us, ferried guests into the correct areas in the house always leaving a spare room for us to have moments of quiet contemplation as a newly married couple. Similarly to the day, the evening was just as smooth and everyone was well catered for in every way shape and form. I cannot imagine having the day anywhere else and we are already planning, if we can, to return on an anniversary to relive the day because it went way too fast. It was a 5 star venue, with stunning visuals which look amazing in the photos we got from the day, the house is packed with facilities and activities that we really didn't make the most of with the time constraints but everything is just absolutely perfect for a big celebration. I can see why the reviews are so good for the venue, and why they have previously won awards. I would recommend Hockwold in a heartbeat for anyone wanting to cement the perfect setting for the best day of their lives.

The co-ordination and assistance on the day, especially the confetti throw was great. The Hockwold staff were all so friendly and we would like to say a special thank you to Allison for answering so many questions and guiding us along the way. The team managed to set up the chairs for an outdoor ceremony very quickly after the change in weather which was greatly appreciated!

The owner and his entire team were amazing! From the catering and grounds, the staff made our outdoor ceremony possible! The personal event co-ordinators who helped us throughout the day went the extra mile on our big day. We’d definitely recommend having your wedding at Hockwold Hall!

From the moment we came to view to our actual wedding day, the owner and his caring events team were so warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and they supported us throughout the day making everything perfect. It was obvious how much they cared about us and our guests, everything from the food to the evening party was seamless. Amazing venue and team!

I can honestly say that we had the most incredible wedding day at Hockwold Hall. Myself and my husband, wish we could do it all over again. The venue and grounds are just incredible, something out of a fairytale. All of our guests stated just how incredible the venue was.

Richard, Alison, Beth, and the rest of the team went out of their way to make sure our day went without fault and were so accommodating with some of our more out there ideas. Everything went perfectly!!! We cannot thank them all enough. They were just so fantastic!!!

We did not look at any other venue and did not feel the need to. As soon as we walked round the grounds during our viewing, we fell in love with the place.

Hockwold hall is a fantastic venue for a wedding. The hall and grounds are awesome. Staff can't do enough for you always happy and positive. Shefs food was lovely. All our guests loved the whole experience. Can't recommend them enough...five stars!

We will be spreading the word about this venue far and wide, because it currently feels like Norfolk’s best kept secret!! I can’t quite put into words how amazing this venue is. We stayed in Hockwold Inn the night before our Wedding and additionally hired the Inn for the wedding evening too for our guests. The dance floor is also ACE! Richard, Allison, Anna and all the team were truly incredible and we cannot thank them enough for helping us have such a perfect day. Thank you so much to Richard and the team for a truly unforgettable Wedding day! 💕
