We cannot recommend this venue highly enough! We had two ceremonies in one day, combining both English and Indian traditions, and the entire day flowed seamlessly from start to finish. The team were absolutely incredible – nothing was ever too much trouble, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything ran perfectly. When I first viewed the venue, I wasn't completely sure, but I took a chance because I believed in Fran and her vision. Looking back, I'm so glad I did. The venue looked absolutely stunning on the day and exceeded all of our expectations. The value for money was exceptional too. The price was so reasonable considering everything that was included, and the level of service we received was outstanding. So many of our guests commented on how amazing the staff were and how attentive they were throughout the day. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made such a difference and helped create a truly unforgettable experience. 10/10 would recommend – this venue is an absolute gem and one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

We planned our wedding within 4 months and we were able to do achieve so much within this space within such short notice. It was really versatile for our requirements and our families really enjoyed the space and facilities.

We're local to Cambridge and had attended the union many times before so it felt like a great option for us. We really liked how flexible they were in terms of the number of guests and the type of wedding you want to have. We bugged them with so many questions and always got a helpful response. Leading up to the day and on the day itself they made sure everything ran smoothly and went above and beyond to make it a wonderful day. If you want to get involved in the planning and have that flexibility along with the Cambridge charm then this is a great choice! Set right in the heart of Cambridge there are so many fantastic photography opportunities.

A fantastic day made even more special by the staff at The Cresset. With the attention to detail being second to none, nothing was too much trouble. Alison was so helpful and assisted us with almost every aspect of the reception. The food, which was cooked the The Cresset''s own chefs, was high quality a superbly cooked. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough. If you want a great, flexible venue at a reasonable price with highly trained &amp customer orientated staff then this is the place to book.

If you want to keep costs down then the Town Hall if the venue for you. However, that is not it''s only attraction. The council chamber looks like an unusual place for a wedding but works really well. The Ballroom is the most beautiful room for the reception. But the greatest asset is the staff who assist you in every aspect of the day from setting up the room to guiding people to where they need to be, all with a calm professionalism and a warm friendly smile. Choose reliable suppliers and, with the help of your friends and family, you will have a fabulous day.

Thank you for making our wedding day an absolute blast! We had such an amazing day and a lot of it is thanks to you. You were professional, fun, easy to communicate with and put a lot of work into ensuring everything looked as gorgeous as it did. The whole team on the day were efficient, friendly, professional and polite and so attentive - you've been so helpful from day one. You were probably dreading serving up our wedding breakfast, we're very fussy on our food but it was absolutely delicious. So many people commented that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding and we have some difficult family and friends to please. It was absolutely delicious, we couldn't fault it. Thank you for looking after us, we will never forget it.

This is a wonderful under used art deco style interior building, I have never seen so many chandeliers, it should really be a listed building, it is overawing and inspiring, I love it.❤️
