After taking the decision to hold our wedding at the Talbooth we knew we were in for a treat. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiling faces and champagne. The venue was breathtaking with manicured lawns and despite the weather the flower beds shone with colour. The staff went above and beyond to make our day seamless and a keen eye made sure nobody had an empty glass. The BBQ we chose was simply stunning, and along with the canapes selection was a hit for all dietary preferences, with the dessert platters topping out the meal. The marquee was the perfect venue with the tables laid out thoughtfully and with great attention to detail, nothing was missed. The more senior guests were able to enjoy a coffee and a slice of cake on the soft seating while the younger crowd danced the night away. The day was simply perfection, and if you're looking for a perfect venue come rain or shine, the Talbooth is it. A sentiment shared by all our guests.

The staff at the Manor Elstree made us feel truly cared for. They were responsive and accommodated our every request. It is such a beautiful venue, I cannot stop looking at the pictures! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Where do I even start, the whole lead up and day was perfect. The venue and the ground themselves are breath taking, everything is well looked after and picturesque. We got married in October so the leaves had turned into beautiful autumn colours and it just made everything even more magical. The newly renovated copper room and bridal suite bathroom are gorgeous and really add to the venue. But what really makes Mulberry House is the incredible team. Everyone we met and communicated with were amazing and they couldn't do enough for you. We had the pleasure of working with Georgia, Chloe and Jo to name a few throughout the process and there was never a question that they couldn't answer and they all went above and beyond to look after us. Even down to the security and bar staff during our evening reception, they all supported us and did everything they could to ensure we had the best day. Would highly recommend Mulberry House to couples looking for a venue as you won't be disappointed, we can't wait to go back and celebrate our anniversaries there.

Beyond it's USP; uniqueness and wooded ceremony setting, the enchanted garden offers a blank canvas in the form of a 'village green' setting that allows couples to dream of what they want and put those dreams into effect! The owner, Rebecca could not have been ofr accomodating, responsive and adaptable to our many requests and wants! Supurb vanue and experience!

Choosing Hockwold Hall for our wedding was one of the easiest and best decisions we made. From the moment I first viewed the venue, I fell completely in love. Meeting Richard and Beth solidified that feeling—their genuine passion for the Hall and their commitment to reducing waste is truly infectious. I called my fiancé immediately and told him to pay the deposit; there was simply no other choice for us. For us, Hockwold Hall was more than just a beautiful backdrop; it was our home for two nights. The sense of exclusive hire makes you feel incredibly special and completely unrestricted, allowing the celebration to flow naturally. I also had a deep personal connection, as my Nannie used to live just up the road, and we spent Christmases at the old pub (now the Inn). Seeing the space transformed by the current team, while keeping that wonderful, warm atmosphere, was incredible. Our guests constantly complimented the venue, with many saying it was the best wedding venue they had ever been to. The outdoor ceremony space was beautiful, and the weather held out perfectly, but knowing there was a very capable and elegant Plan B was highly reassuring. The unique features, like the animals on site, added an extra layer of charm and magic that you simply won't find anywhere else. Later, the basement space provided the perfect setting to continue the party after the marquee. We were consistently impressed by how reasonably priced everything was, from the venue hire itself to the drinks served on the day. Considering the sheer grandeur and the all-encompassing experience, the value provided is outstanding. Richard, Beth, and the team ensure that you are treated like family, making the whole experience feel personal and relaxed. If I could change one thing, it would be to heed the venue’s advice on suppliers. We opted for an outside supplier, and the clear-up the following day became quite stressful due due to things being misplaced and the supplier not knowing where to go. While this had nothing to do with the venue itself, I now understand why using the recommended suppliers, who are already familiar with the space, is so crucial for a seamless experience. For future couples planning a highly detailed wedding like ours, I would also strongly recommend hiring a wedding planner. Although the venue coordinators are fantastic and arrived at 10 am, having a dedicated planner from the start would have reduced the need for our groomsmen to run around organizing things on the morning of the wedding. Hockwold Hall offers ample, amazing on-site accommodation and a truly unforgettable atmosphere. This review simply doesn't do the venue justice for how brilliant it is. If you are searching for your perfect wedding venue, I highly recommend you go and view it—you will fall in love with it straight away.

Me and wife Sarah got married at Home Farm last weekend (22.09.18) We truly had the best day ever and that was helped by how good the venue was! The views are amazing and the marquee is beautiful! Complied with a nice dance floor area, a very good bar (very good bar prices) and extremely clean posh toilet area. We also camped there in a hired honey moon belle tent and Sue was more than accommodating. We would like to thank Sue, Robert and her daughter for making our day so special. We would highly recommend Home Farm Events.

Whilst looking for a wedding venue we came across Downham Hall by pure chance. We attended a wedding open day and was shown around by Andrew who was so passionate about the place. We explained that we wanted our day to reflect us as a couple as well as our individuality. From the moment we booked our special day that's what we got. Communication was fantastic, our requests accommodated and they made the whole process so effortless which truly made the day even more special as we didn't have anything to stress over. One of our wedding guests was a professional chef and complimented our menu, the ingredients and love that went into preparing the food shone through. Our day was made even more magical by Downham Hall and the whole team and for that we will forever be grateful!

From start to finish Andrew at Dans Meadow ensured that we had the perfect day. We always wanted an outdoor wedding so when we saw Dans Meadow for the first time we fell in love. The day was amazing and Dans Meadow was very flexible and we were able to have everything just the way we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble for Andrew. We also had many people stay at Dans Meadow and it was great to wake up the next morning with all of our friends and family. The accommodation at Dans Meadow is beautiful. Thank you so much for our special day.

We had our blessing and wedding reception at Beaumont Hall in June this year and had the most amazing day. We chose Beaumont due to the stunning setting and the fact that they give you the freedom to have your day pretty much however you like. Victoria, who owns the venue, was so communicative throughout the whole planning process and was so helpful in recommending suppliers and ideas and accommodating all of our requests. Joanne was the event manager on the day and managed everything to perfection. We met with her a couple of days before the wedding to run through the day and she was so helpful in settling any nerves or concerns. The entire day was run so seamlessly from set up to clear down. We didn’t have to worry about a thing which meant we enjoyed every minute of the day. All of the staff was so friendly and attentive throughout. Beaumont Hall also offers accommodation for 16 people which are all self-catered apartments looking out over the beautiful landscape. This meant that all of our close family and friends could stay the night after in a very comfortable, quiet and clean setting. The bridal party stayed overnight before and got ready in Room 2 which provided plenty of room for preparations, lots of natural light, and a stress-free 1 minute walk to the ceremony! We are still receiving comments from our guests on how beautiful the venue was and what a fun day they had. We honestly couldn’t recommend Beaumont Hall enough

When we arrived at the venue and looked at the beautiful grounds we just knew this is where we wanted to get married and celebrate. Everyone involved in our day was so accommodating and the way you can make the venue your own is lovely. We really wanted a relaxed day and it was just that. All our guests loved the venue and commented on the excellent food from JLS catering. I honestly couldn’t recommend the venue more
