We had our wedding at Chalkney Water Meadow, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The relaxed, festival-style vibe was exactly what we were looking for, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. Surrounded by nature, with a beautiful open space and a laid-back atmosphere, it felt like our own little world for the weekend. We stayed in the beautiful on-site lodges, which were a peaceful and comfortable retreat before and after the big day. Our guests absolutely loved the glamping experience—everyone raved about how fun and unique it was to spend the weekend in bell tents under the stars. It really added to the atmosphere and made the whole celebration feel more like a mini festival than just a one-day event. From start to finish, Holly was absolutely incredible. She was calm, kind, and completely on top of everything—guiding us through the planning process and making the entire weekend run smoothly. We didn’t have to worry about a thing, which meant we could truly enjoy the moment.Holly’s communication with us was absolutely incredible,her knowledge and advice was outstanding and she exceeded our expectations.Holly was instrumental in a perfect weekend. The staff at the venue were also amazing—friendly, helpful, and always one step ahead. Every detail was thought through, and it all came together so naturally. We’ve had so many compliments from our guests about the vibe, the setting, and how well the day flowed. If you’re after a unique, relaxed wedding in a beautiful location with an exceptional team behind it, we can’t recommend Chalkney Water Meadow and Holly highly enough.

We booked our wedding in December 2022 and got married in July 2024. Everything ran so smoothly—nothing was too much trouble, and we had complete freedom to shape the day exactly how we wanted it. Donatas was brilliant from start to finish. He was everything we could have hoped for in a wedding planner: attentive, supportive, and incredibly helpful both in the lead-up and on the day itself. We truly had the best day ever and would love to do it all over again! We found it to be excellent value for money, especially as it included accommodation for our guests. We wanted a private, intimate wedding by the coast, and Cley Windmill gave us that and more—it has real “WOW” factor. I loved seeing our guests' reactions to the venue/Windmill, and people are always surprised when I tell them we got married in a windmill as it not your typical wedding venue! It’s a day we will cherish forever, and we couldn’t recommend Donatas and Cley Windmill more highly as a wedding venue. Our wedding day at Woodhall Manor was truly magical from start to finish. The venue itself is absolutely stunning — full of charm, romance, and a wonderfully intimate atmosphere that made our day feel so special. We loved how the different rooms were used throughout the day — from our ceremony to the reception drinks, wedding breakfast, and finally the evening disco. It meant we got to experience and enjoy the very best of the manor, with each space offering its own unique character and charm. The staff were incredible throughout the whole process, especially our coordinator Georgia. Nothing was too much trouble and I truly believe her organisation, kindness and passion lead to this being a perfect day . All of the team made everything feel effortless, taking care of every detail so we could simply enjoy the moment. Their professionalism and warmth really stood out and made us feel completely at ease. The food and drinks were perfect — beautifully presented, delicious, and enjoyed by all our guests. Every part of the day ran so smoothly, and it genuinely felt like the team went above and beyond to give us our perfect day. We can’t thank Woodhall Manor enough for making our wedding everything we dreamed of and more. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a truly romantic and unforgettable venue!

OMG do not hesitate book today ! Right from the word go at our initial meeting with Lee and Esme we knew we would be in safe hands and Shortmead would be the venue for our special day. The team are so professional and accommodated our every request, we had a large Italian wedding and nothing was a problem. The grounds are spectacular and our guests felt like they had been transported abroad on one of the hottest days of the year. We are so glad we booked our reception here and everything went smoothly. There really is no comparison to anywhere in Bedfordshire (and beyond !) and was the perfect choice. Keep up the great work and thank you a million times over. xxx

We approached the KO in Oct 24 for an April 25 Wedding. we met with Paula , and from that point on they were nothing but amazing! The venue is just beautiful , and needs little vision (I was a Bride who didn't have much !!) The following 6 months everything just ran smoothly. They were constantly in contact , and they have lots of recommendations with regards DJ's , sax's etc. Food choices were all great , and everything was super easy to del with and pay . Paula and the team , Toni etc were all amazing !!!!

Stunning location great boat ride in! Love every second of our big day! Team were wonderful and the day was perfect!

We had our white wedding at Lakeview Marquee and it was absolutely perfect. The venue was stunning, and the team were professional, attentive, and so supportive throughout the whole process. Everything ran smoothly and stress-free, and they truly brought our vision to life. Highly recommend Lakeview Marquee and their amazing team!

Where do we begin to talk about our wedding at the Canary Shed, it was the most magical, unforgettable and completely unique weekend of our life. I’ll say a weekend and not a day, as the moment you arrive at the Canary Shed on the Friday evening the celebrations begin. From being able to have complete creative control of the decoration of the shed, which is already such a bright and special place, to having all of your nearest and dearest staying with you on sight for the weekend! It truly was the best weekend of our lives. Jade and Paige really were incredible, from the moment we booked the venue back in 2022, there were regular check ins and genuinely nothing was too much of an ask. Jade is the wedding planner you’ve always dreamed of and made the weekend run so flawlessly, from setting up the ceremony space on the morning to fixing our damaged cake with disco balls, she’s amazing!! We’re based in the midlands, but chose the canary shed because they were dog friendly and let’s face it, you’ve never seen a venue like it! We had so many comments on how incredible the venue and the day was. It’s so great that you can completely tailor the day to you, bringing in your own caterers, crockery, and having full creative control. We wanted a relaxed alternative vibe and the canary shed was the perfect fit. We honestly would do it all over again and I can’t thank the canary shed team enough for giving us the most special weekend wedding celebration of our life. It was perfect in every single way and I genuinely have struggled to put into words what an incredible time we had. We made memories to last a life time and we can’t wait to come back and stay at the shed to reminisce on them. 5 stars wouldn’t be enough!! Lots of love, Amy & Ollie xxx
