We had the most incredible experience at The White Horse in Hertingfordbury. From start to finish, Kate, the coordinator, was absolutely amazing – she made us feel so comfortable and genuinely excited for our big day. She listened to everything we wanted and made it all possible with such care and attention to detail. The food and drinks were outstanding; so many of our guests commented that it was the best they had ever had at a wedding! The staff were beyond friendly and couldn’t do enough for us or our guests. They decorated our tables beautifully, creating such a special atmosphere, and we truly felt so well looked after throughout the entire day. We also used all seven bedrooms, and they were so comfortable – the perfect place for us and our guests to relax after the celebrations. The venue itself was stunning – the vibe was relaxed yet elegant, and with the sun shining through the gorgeous skylight in the restaurant, it couldn’t have been more perfect. We would recommend The White Horse 10000%! It was everything we dreamed of and more, and we are so grateful to Kate and the whole team for making it the most unforgettable day.

Fox and Hounds! From the moment we started planning, Bianca was incredibly helpful and attentive, making sure every detail was perfect. Nothing was too much to ask, and she truly went above and beyond. The venue itself was stunning. and the food was exceptional. The overall atmosphere was warm a perfect for our celebration. We can't thank Bianca and the team at the Fox and Hounds enough for making our wedding day so special. We wholeheartedly recommend it as a wedding venue!

We had our wedding at The Hoste Arms in Burnham Market in October, and we honestly couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. From the very beginning, the staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make everything just right. A special thank you to Jade, the wonderful Events Manager, and Martin, the incredible Reservations Manager – your support, patience, and professionalism made the whole experience seamless and completely stress-free. We truly couldn't have done it without you! The venue looked absolutely stunning, and every little detail was taken care of. The staff were so friendly and accommodating – nothing was ever too much trouble. On the day, everything ran smoothly and effortlessly, allowing us to simply enjoy every moment. We ended up having the ceremony outside, and we highly recommend it if the weather allows – it made the day feel extra special and unforgettable. The atmosphere was so heartfelt and joyful, it was everything we’d dreamed of and more. Thank you to the entire Hoste Arms team for making our wedding so magical. It will stay in our hearts forever.

We cannot thank The Freston Boot enough for making our wedding day so special and truly perfect. The accredited setting is absolutely stunning and provided the most beautiful and memorable backdrop for our celebration. The setting truly speaks for itself and added something magical to our day. From our very first enquiry, through booking, and on the wedding day itself, every single member of staff was incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. We are so grateful for the advice, patience, and reassurance given throughout the process, especially with our many questions and changes along the way. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and the team went above and beyond to ensure everything reflected our hopes and wishes. A huge compliment must go to the chefs for the delicious two-course dinner and the fantastic buffet food, which was enjoyed by all of our guests. Everything was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. We were also delighted to have the privacy of the tent, which was cozy, intimate, and the perfect setting for our small wedding party. It created exactly the warm and personal atmosphere we had hoped for. Our massive thanks go to every single member of staff for their hard work, kindness, and dedication. We give The Freston Boot our highest recommendation to any couple looking for a cozy, small, and truly special wedding venue. Thank you for making our day unforgettable.

From the minute we enquired Emily, Eleni and Rhiannon were all amazing. Our questions were dealt with quickly and thoroughly in the lead up to the wedding and we were always made to feel special. We were given a menu tasting before the wedding and the option to try wines/champagnes and lots of food to choose from, it was a perfect pre-event for the two of us to get excited about our big day. On the wedding day itself the team delivered again, they were all so friendly but professional, we had a BBQ in the beautiful Yard area and felt like we could have been abroad! We chose to have cocktail stations dotted around the venue which were all delicious and our guests were blown away that we'd managed to find such a gem of a venue in the centre of St Albans

We would just like to say a huge thank you to Jay and the team for making the day absolutely amazing. We cannot recommend masons highly enough, the food was lovely and the service was perfect, nothing was to much trouble from start to finish. Victoria, Clare and the staff at The Bell Hotel went the extra mile to deliver a good quality service for our Wedding Day. The attention to detail with all the whole venue was exemplary. This is a great Hotel to hold the ceremony and reception.

We celebrated our wedding at the Pig and Whistle in November and it was so much more than we could have wished for. Both Justin and Brendan made sure that our ceremony and wedding breakfast went totally according to plan, no hiccups. Justin made sure that the service at the table was exactly as you would expect at a wedding, he made sure that we were served first and made us feel like the most important people in room at all times. From the moment I arrived, Brendan and Justin made me feel like a princess. They greeted me and made sure that I didn't bump into my groom unexpectedly. Doors and curtains were held open and music was right on cue every time. The decor was magical. Exactly as we wanted. I felt like we were getting married in a castle with all the decor and magic that you would expect in a much bigger and grander place. We could have been anywhere, but wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else. It was perfect. All our guests were so complimentary. They were stunned by the quality of the food and the beautiful decor as well as the top notch service we were lucky enough to have. Our waiter was also a credit to them showing just enough humour and cheekiness to enhance the experience without ruining the professionalism of the service. All in all a real 10/10 experience. I would highly recommend the Pig and Whistle thanks to Justin and Brendan, as the venue for the most magical wedding. It is certainly a day we will never forget and one which we already look back on with such fond memories. Thankyou so much for making our dream wedding a reality.

We wanted an easy going wedding but a classy one. The Brisley Bell was the most beautiful setting, that staff were exceptional as was the food. Honestly it couldn’t have gone better. Nothing was too much trouble for Laura who was overseeing the wedding for us. Laura really is exceptionally good at her job. Thank you again to everyone who helped us make our day so special.
