Wow where do we even begin?? As soon as we visited Fanhams for the first time we fell in love and it was hard to view anywhere else after! The gardens are so beautiful and maintained so nicely and we could really picture our day there from then on! The whole planning process was made so easy by Lauren who answered thousands of emails from me, a million questions and nothing was ever too much. She explained everything in such great detail, always got back to me if she was away from her emails and made me feel like everything was under control at all times. Our menu tasting in February was spectacular, we met the chef and got to tweak certain things on the menu for our day which was great. Fast track to our wedding weekend! We had a pre wedding event on the Saturday night which was held in the oak room, and as if it wasn’t enough that Fanhams had a wedding that day, they still provided a fantastic dinner and service to 55 of our guests in the oak room, we had so much fun and the food from the bar menu was spectacular. Now, our wedding day.. it was genuinely the best day of our lives. Every little detail was covered, the staff were INCREDIBLE the venue was beautiful, the food is insanely good, everyone couldn’t do enough for us and even with difficult guest requests or language barriers our family members were so looked after and for that we are incredible grateful. Rachel our wonderful manager went above and beyond on the wedding weekend and is an absolute asset to Fanhams. Nothing was ever too much, she was ALWAYS one step ahead of us ensuring we had a drink to hand, any stress was eliminated quickly, any issues were dealt with without me even knowing and she even went out of her way when her shift finished to drive to the church we got married at to find a missing ring (you have no idea how much this meant to us). Rachel is the definition of somebody who loves their job, cares deeply about people’s happiness and is a reflection of what Fanhams Hall is. Every single one of our guests adored Rachel and her team on the day, the food was complimented immensely, the drinks flowed constantly and the whole order of the day was so smooth from start to finish, again a reflection of Lauren’s planning, Rachel’s event management and Fanhams as a whole. I could go on forever at how incredible our experience was, we are SO grateful we found Fanhams and if anybody is considering it for a venue and needs an extra push, this is it! You won’t find a better venue, people, food, gardens, rooms, service or views. If I could re live the day over and over again I would!

Our wedding planner Lauren was incredibly accommodating and responded to any questions immediately. She provided a fantastic service from start to finish.

The staff on reception were all friendly and helpful and our wedding coordinator Claire on the day was incredibly professional and made sure the day flowed seamlessly.

Fanhams Hall was the number one choice for me and James, from the moment we spotted it. It’s got all of our favourite qualities, from historic beautiful buildings to stunning gardens and grounds.

The staff there are also amazing! They worked so hard behind the scenes that they made it look effortless and seamless. Lauren supported from day one and was amazing at answering all of our questions and concerns.

Rachel and her team managed our day. And she brought energy and fun (even providing suggestions, bringing out glow-sticks to the Vengaboys couldn’t have gone down better - amazing fun).

The day ran smoothly, there wasn’t a single thing for us to worry about. The food was incredible, and they catered for everyone’s dietary needs with alternative dishes which were just as good.

We got married here on 18th May and the day was just a dream. Symphonie was our co-ordinator in the run up to the wedding and she was a pleasure to deal with, easy to communicate with and always responsive on emails. Claire was our co-ordinator on the day and she ran everything with military precision, we can't thank her enough for the hard work she put in. We were lucky the weather played ball so we were able to make use of the extensive immaculately manicured gardens. We had so many compliments on the venue, the food and general smooth running of the day. If you want a stress free wedding I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fanhams, they know their stuff. Weddings and events are their bread and butter so book them, you won't regret it !

We fell in love with this amazing venue the first time we visited, with the gorgeous grounds and stunning gardens, the lovely wisteria tunnel and the elegant mansion that gives such a nobility air.
We had our wedding outside, and it was such a sunny day, so perfect, that all our guests kept talking about for days! We heard so many compliments, and our guests were so impressed with everything, they were so eager to explore the grounds, and to be completely honest, 5 stars are not enough for this review, we cannot recommend Fanhams Hall enough!
For us it really was our dream wedding, and there is not a single thing I would change about how the day went, and we couldn’t have had that without the team at Fanhams Hall! Everyone was so nice and helpful, and of course we will forever be grateful to Lauren and Claire for all their guidance and support from start to finish! Thank you Lauren for always answering our questions, always giving us the best advice, and always being so nice and making sure to check in and see how things are going. Our wedding was absolutely amazing. We had the best day ever thanks to Fanhams Hall. They accommodated everything for us, our designated wedding manager on the day Florin went above and beyond for us he truly made sure we we’re happy, comfortable and relaxed. We didn’t have to worry about anything the whole day ran smoothly. Food was amazing and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Our wedding at Fanhams was executed with perfection. It was every girls dream. The team were spot on with all the little details we wanted. They were patient and on hand with anything we wanted or needed. I can’t thank them or recommend them enough!

We got married during the snow last Christmas and we had the most incredible wedding. Fanhams hall we’re fantastic from start to finish. They catered to all our wants and needs. We will treasure our experience with fanhams hall forever.

The perfect venue for our special day, I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The Royston room was a great spot for me and my bridesmaids to get ready in the morning, just next door to the ceremony room. A changing curtain or similar would have been really useful, but I didn’t think to ask at the time, and I’m sure they would have sorted something out for me if I had.

The Long Gallery is just how it sounds - it’s huge! We had just under 60 guests and took up maybe a third of the room. I loved that as it felt nice, bright, and open; and there were no pillars in the way so every guest could see the front.

There was something for everyone and plenty of space for guests to spread out, but it still felt cosy. Everyone said how stunning the place was and had an excellent time exploring the grounds and taking photos. The children loved having plenty of space to run around, and the team even arranged for football posts to be set up for us to keep them entertained. It was a lovely autumnal day but I visited throughout the year and the venue looks gorgeous in sun, rain and frost too.

A special shout out to Symphonie and Claire who organised everything and handled every issue, big or small, on the lead up and the day itself. It meant so much as I could really relax knowing everything was in hand. I expected to be asked lots of questions throughout the day, but other than checking I was ok, Claire just got on with it - which was much appreciated!

We finished the day in the fabulous Chestnut honeymoon suite - it’s huge! We had a couple of little surprises left for us from the team too, which was lovely. It was a great space to chill out during the day and hang out with the girls when our dancing feet were worn out. If I did it again, I would probably ask about having the room the night before as well - it would be a great spot to get ready in the morning, and although I don’t live far away, being there and ready to go would have been a nice extra.

Already planning to be back for a birthday afternoon tea and I’m sure we’ll come back again and again to what is now a very special place to us.

What can I say were four days in and I'm still on cloud nine, it's been one of the best day of our lives...I can't thank Fanhams hall enough for all the care and attention to detail they have given though out and especially on the day Reahel our wedding coordinator for the day was amazing she made sure everything ran like clockwork getting everyone to where they needed to be an absolute dream come true...Fanhams hall thank you for making my day perfect..I will be forever grateful to you and your team for everything you've done for us once again thank you 🫶🩷

Rachel was amazing. The day would not have been possible if it wasn't for her. She was so helpful, kind, patient and understanding. She helped us out with everything we needed, supported the whole day and was just perfect. It was an absolute pleasure having her with us on out special day. She organised everything down the the wire and made the whole day flow without a hiccup in sight. Symphonie was such a help during the planning stages. Able to answer any questions we had and accommodating meetings when we needed them

At the end of our incredible wedding at Fanhams Hall, we expected to feel gutted that it was over. However, it was such a genuinely perfect day, that we felt so unbelievably happy.
Not only is Fanhams the most beautiful venue and grounds but they absolutely cannot do enough for you, in the planning process and on the day. We felt so in control of decisions and everything was amazing. The venue, the decor, the food (incredible!), everything was perfect. It was easy to adapt anything to suit our day.

Everything about our day was completely perfect and we felt amazingly well looked after from our very first viewing to the big day itself - big shoutout to Symphonie who supported us throughout and even carried the train of my dress for me down to the top of the aisle, what a delightful human being she is.

First of all, the venue is stunning and you can put 100% of your faith and trust in the staff. We had the opportunity to personalise the day and the staff were on board with making it all happen. We didn't opt for exclusive venue use but still felt like the day was ours completely. The gardens are extensive and beautifully kept and perfect for couples photos, there is no shortage of opportunities.

We have had non-stop compliments about the setting, food and service which were all exemplary. Special mention goes to Luke who ensured my mum, who is disabled, was comfortable at all times, he really went out of his way to assist.

The wedding planners as so thorough that aside from a bit of setting up by the groom and groomsmen in the morning, which was fully expected, we barely had to engage brain and Rachel, our on the day co-ordinator, ensure everything ran smoothly and looked after us beautifully.

Lauren made the whole wedding planning process so much more manageable and accessible, which is much appreciated when on a 6 month time scale! They never questioned why I needed to know certain pieces of information, they just absolutely delivered with speed every time!

On our wedding tour, Lauren was so lovely and friendly and the complementary drinks were a big hit too. I think this is probably the reason my Mum wanted to come with us every time! Lauren provided recommended, high quality suppliers too. We literally couldn’t have asked anything more from Coral and Blue who went above and beyond, even dressing parts of the room that were not provided by them too!

All the staff at Fanhams Hall were so friendly, it reallt felt like everyone cared so much about us! We weren’t just ‘another wedding’. It was OUR wedding!! Rachel, our incredible function manager, said there’s only 2 dates in August without a wedding, but we honestly wouldn’t have known because everyone really goes above and beyond at ALL times. When we returned from our church ceremony as husband and wife, we were greeted with our chosen welcome drinks and canapés - we honestly felt like we were living a Hollywood dream.

Even the reception staff were incredible! We’ve left a couple of things in the rooms too and it’s been a very efficient process to get them back.

My husband and I (eeek, husband!) said it was a shame we wouldn’t see Lauren on the wedding day as she’d been such a huge part of our wedding planning journey, but it was absolutely lovely for her to take time out of her day to come and say hi! Lauren has been a dream and we’ll definitely be booking an anniversary stay for next year!

We’ve had SO many complements about Fanhams Hall as a venue too. Everyone thought it was a dreamy wedding venue, the best they’ve ever been to! When the guests entered the library after the church, they stayed there being greeted by the slide show of photos, live music, love letters, drinks…they weren’t able to go outside as it was raining slightly and chill. This wasn’t what we’d planned, but this worked out PERFECTLY as guests were able to sign the guest book and look at the displays too! During the speeches the sun started shining through and during the room turnaround everyone was outside and my dress was glistening in the sunshine. IT WAS HONESTLY PERFECT! Some people just stayed outside until midnight!!! The beer pong was so much fun too. I could honestly write the longest comment about how perfect everything was!
