Everyone at the Muthu Belstead Brook couldn’t have done anymore for making our day go without a hitch. You all worked so hard to make everything to detail look just perfect. But a very special thanks really does go to Amy, Vali and Elvis you really did go above and beyond to make sure our day was just perfect. I made all the decorations, from welcome board to seating plan, button holes, confetti, bouquets and a spare one to throw, pumps for myself and my sister to dance the night away, flowers in hurricane vases, to shot favours the lanterns and eucalyptus garlands with lights on. And you really did put everything together just how I imagined it would be and more.

Choosing The Marquis as our wedding venue was the best decision we made. We got married there in June 2025, and it truly was the best day of our lives. From the very beginning, the service was outstanding — professional, friendly, and completely seamless. The entire team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran perfectly. Special mentions must go to Joanna for organising all things accommodation related, Josh for impeccable service on our wedding day, and James, for designing the perfect menu. The food was absolutely exceptional and received so many compliments from our guests — beautifully presented and delicious from start to finish. A huge and heartfelt thank you goes to Lisa, who was simply incredible. Her organisation, reassurance, and attention to every detail made the whole process stress-free and enjoyable. Knowing she was overseeing everything meant we could fully relax and enjoy our day. The venue itself is breathtaking — such a beautiful setting and the perfect backdrop for a wedding. Everything came together flawlessly, and we couldn’t have asked for more. We would recommend The Marquis without hesitation to any couple looking for a stunning venue, amazing food, and truly exceptional service. Thank you for giving us memories we will cherish forever.

We couldn't have asked for a better day. We fell in love with the venue straight away and as soon as we saw the Poplar Barn we knew this is where we wanted to get married. Katie made us feel so welcome and at ease during the planning process. Everyone involved did such a great job to make our day run smoothly leaving us nothing to worry about of the day. Shout out to Lewis for looking after us on the day making us feel less nervous and always making sure we had a drink!! We received lots of compliments from our guests saying how delicious the food was.

The rooms at the venue were so beautiful on their own, that we only needed to add a little bit to make it our own and exactly what we’d envisioned. The staff were incredibly professional and friendly. Nothing we asked was dismissed and we weren’t made to feel a burden despite our many questions! They were incredibly helpful and made sure the day ran smoothly for us

To all the staff at the Jockey Club Rooms. I am not even sure where to start, but would like to say thank you so much for all of your hard work, attention to detail and persistence. Even before the wedding, Charlotte’s organisation helped the preparation work be as calm, structured and comprehensive as possible, making the lead up to the wedding an enjoyable experience. With her on board, we trusted the running of the wedding and were confidant with all the plans. This trust was well placed as the day went more perfectly than we could have even dreamed of. Without her hard work and correspondence, we never could have achieved this, and cannot imagine going through the process without her at our call. We cannot thank you enough. We were so happy to be able to provide all of our wedding decorations on the Friday night prior to the wedding, which were all placed for us in the most faultless manner. We know that for some of you, the day meant very long hours but none of you showed this to ourselves or our guests. Our guests have not stopped singing your praises, and commenting on the hospitality, especially with some of our elderly relatives in wheelchairs who have commented that that have never felt less of a burden than they did on that day. If possible, we would like to individually thank these people In particular, as they went beyond and above our expectations, and it really was lovely to see. It was noted by many of our guests that your staff would continually approach these guests, offer drinks and assist them in staying comfortable, and this showed just how courteous and accommodating all your staff are.

Absolutely perfect!! We had the most perfect day (so much so my husband wants to do it again!!) thank you so much to every single staff member - especially Zoe. Not sure if I was quite a bridezilla but I did have lots of questions and anxiety, wanting to ensure the day went as smoothly as possible and all guests were catered for; Zoe was a star. Put up will all of my query’s and resolved them so quickly. Thank you for making our day so perfect , and of course putting up with me 😂🩷 P.S that’s not even mentioning the delicious food or stunning location OR fabulous rooms!!! Love Steph and Ryan x

Our wedding day at Woodhall Manor was truly magical from start to finish. The venue itself is absolutely stunning — full of charm, romance, and a wonderfully intimate atmosphere that made our day feel so special. We loved how the different rooms were used throughout the day — from our ceremony to the reception drinks, wedding breakfast, and finally the evening disco. It meant we got to experience and enjoy the very best of the manor, with each space offering its own unique character and charm. The staff were incredible throughout the whole process, especially our coordinator Georgia. Nothing was too much trouble and I truly believe her organisation, kindness and passion lead to this being a perfect day . All of the team made everything feel effortless, taking care of every detail so we could simply enjoy the moment. Their professionalism and warmth really stood out and made us feel completely at ease. The food and drinks were perfect — beautifully presented, delicious, and enjoyed by all our guests. Every part of the day ran so smoothly, and it genuinely felt like the team went above and beyond to give us our perfect day. We can’t thank Woodhall Manor enough for making our wedding everything we dreamed of and more. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a truly romantic and unforgettable venue!

We visited many venues, each more Beautiful than the last but overall the quality of service received from the Holiday Inn was really second to none, Claire and the team were on hand throughout the planning process and made sure that nothing was forgotten. They made what could have been a very stressful experience into an easy one. The day itself couldn’t have gone smoother and everybody went out of their way to make sure we had the most memorable day as possible. Even when the meal and speeches ran over they still managed to turn everything around and have the room ready for the evening to start on time! With a three course meal, an evening buffet a DJ and accommodation for the couple included in the package it really did take all the worry out of the nitty gritty that so often gets overlooked or overwhelming. If you’re looking for a very reasonably priced venue with wonderful and attentive staff then this one is highly recommended. We were surprised at how easy everything was from the initial contact to the menu tasting right through to the day itself, and with discounted rooms for all wedding guests, the whole wedding party were able to stay making it all the more special at breakfast the following morning.
