Wedding review
Tapps was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. He was so helpful, approachable and supportive from the very beginning, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. He helped us with everything we needed and made the whole planning process so much easier and less stressful.
Even on the night itself, the staff were fantastic. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and attentive, and they really went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we could just enjoy our day.
We’re so glad we chose Ponsbourne Hotel for our wedding and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue. Thank you to Tapps and the whole team for making our day so special!

A special mention has to go to Tapps, who was attentive, responsive and genuinely went above and beyond to accommodate every single one of our needs. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and throughout the planning process he became much more than a venue contact — he genuinely felt like part of the family. He was always on hand to help, advise and find solutions, even for things we hadn’t realised we would need to think about when planning a wedding.
The grounds are simply breathtaking. We were incredibly lucky with the weather and, being such a beautiful summer day, were able to make the most of the stunning views and outdoor spaces. We even arranged for a mixologist and a jerk chicken van outside, which added such a fun and memorable touch to the day. The flexibility of the venue made it possible to create a wedding that felt completely personal to us.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the menu was varied and tailored specifically to our needs. Once again, nothing was too much trouble, and the team worked incredibly hard to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted.
Tapps also has an amazing network of contacts, which was invaluable. From suppliers to those little details you never anticipate when you first start planning a wedding, he was able to point us in the right direction and make the whole process so much easier.
We even stayed overnight at the venue, which was the perfect way to finish the day — no long journey home and no need to worry about anything other than enjoying ourselves.
The Ponsbourne gave my sister the most beautiful wedding day, and we are so grateful to the whole team. From the stunning setting and delicious food to the incredible service and attention to detail, we genuinely could not have asked for more.
