Jeremy, Rylene, and the whole team went above and beyond to make our wedding day more perfect than we could have ever imagined. They thought of everything from the big picture to the tiniest touches and it all came together so seamlessly. Their calmness, professionalism, and genuine warmth made us feel completely at ease, allowing us to relax and just soak up every moment. I would also like to personally thank Rachel, for being an amazing host and going above and beyond with not only myself and my new husband but also with every single one of our guests. Our guests were blown away not only by the stunning setting but also by how beautifully everything flowed throughout the day. We couldn’t stop hearing “this is the best wedding we’ve ever been to,” which is the greatest compliment and a testament to the team’s hard work. We’ll forever be grateful for the memories we made here. If you’re looking for a venue that combines natural beauty, meticulous attention to detail, and a team who truly cares, this is it.

We had the most perfect day celebrating our wedding last Thursday. Charlotte and the team made the whole day run incredibly smoothly. They were so friendly and helpful with all of our questions throughout the whole process and it nothing seemed too much trouble. The venue itself is beautiful, a really great size for the number of guests we had. The grounds were so lovely, and we loved all of the chickens and ducks. The on site accommodation was ideal, we were fortunate to be able to add the extra night onto our booking the night before the wedding which was so useful. Words truly cannot express how incredible our wedding at canford. Chloe, Caitlin and all the staff went out of their way to make our day absolutely amazing. First off, the building and grounds and stunning and made for the most amazing photos. We were married in the old library and absolutely loved this. Having the outside space for our canapés and evening food was a real bonus and one of the major selling points of the venue. We also loved the great hall- rarely have I seen such an impressive room that gave so much room for dancing and still to have tables out. Secondly- the food. WOW! Our guests have not stopped talking about the food months on and have said it’s the best that they’ve had at a wedding, with some saying it’s possibly the best food they’ve had out in a long time. The attention to detail was incredible! Now for a focus on Chloe and Caitlin. We cannot thank them enough for all of the effort that they put into the day. They truly coordinated every little aspect and we felt as if we were the only wedding couple they were looking after. The day went off without a glitch and it’s all thanks to them. I don’t think a review is enough to do the day justice. Our day at canford was so special and cannot recommend it enough to anyone looking to get married.

We recently had our wedding at this breathtaking venue, and it truly exceeded every expectation. We had our ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception in the same room but each room change was outstanding. The room looked stunningly different for each section with attention paid to all details discussed. The food was absolutely amazing—beautifully presented, full of flavour, and thoroughly enjoyed by all our guests. Every dish was a hit, and the service throughout the day was nothing short of fantastic. The staff were attentive, warm, and made everyone feel so well looked after. But the real star of the day was our wedding coordinator, Edward. From our very first meeting, Edward listened carefully to every detail we discussed and made sure each one was brought to life. His calm, composed presence was a huge comfort throughout the planning process and especially on the big day. He was incredibly organised, thoughtful, and ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Thanks to Edward, we were able to relax and truly enjoy every moment knowing everything was in expert hands. We can’t thank him enough for helping make our wedding day so perfect. If you’re considering this venue—do it! And if you have Edward coordinating your day, you’re in for something truly special.

We were recommended The Crown Hotel and decided to visit despite never having been inside. We met Laura, the wedding planner, who was amazing. She was calm, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and extremely professional. We had our entire day at The Crown and from the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The Sealy Suite is a private wing with it's own bar and it looked beautiful decorated with the fairy lights and drapes. The food was absolutely delicious and the wine had lots of positive comments. The team were brilliant and chatted away to guests as they served food, they were polite but also seemed to be keen we had a good time. Nothing was too much trouble for all the team. We also had an evening buffet which again, was delicious and plentiful. Quite a few friends and family stayed for the night and the rooms were extremely comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was also lovely. Could not have wished for a better venue or team.

Where do we even begin…we cannot thank Perla & Jo enough! Frieda and the Moon really is a special place! Such a unique wedding venue, intimate and set in the most beautiful surroundings. If you want a small, intimate wedding, with bit of added quirkiness, then this is the place, from the on site accommodation, which we would highly recommend, to The Studio, nothing was ever too much trouble for Perla & Jo. The Tabernacle and Observatory have everything you need for a few nights…so cosy and comfortable with the added bonus of the hot tubs! Our little Pug certainly enjoyed herself! The bell tent that was set up for extended family was perfect too, along with great facilities that the kids loved. The wedding day was perfect…The Studio is beautiful, food delicious and Perla & Jo just let you get on to enjoy your day, but are always on hand if you need anything. This just helps you and your guests feel more relaxed. The fire pit is a nice added addition to relax after the sun goes down, with some toasted marshmallows. We honestly have the best memories to last a lifetime, and the family are still talking about it now! It was really hard to leave, as the place is truly wonderful, I think the family who stayed on site with us would have stayed for longer if they could! We can’t wait to return! Absolutely beautiful venue. From start to finish Georgia and the team were so professional and easy going they truly made us feel so blessed to of had them coordinate our wedding. I am in the wedding industry as a bridal seamstress and have had so many of my brides get married here that I had to check it out myself and were we not disappointed. Every part of the venue is truly stunning, from the rustic walls to the amazing size of the wedding breakfast location. We had been quite particular in the type of location we want as we were going for a autumnal style wedding and everything looked stunning. We had amazing photographs in front of beautiful autumn trees, a lovely cosy fire pit in the evening with toasted marshmallows and all the beautiful lighting around the place gave it an amazing cosy warm feeling. Georgia arranged all our decorations perfectly, which I'm afraid were quite a few, but we we're blown away by how it all turned out. This place is definitely a magical venue to have your wedding at and we are so grateful for everyone's input into making it amazing. Thank you all so much, love Kelli & Terry.xxx

We held our wedding here in early September and can only give Secret Valley the highest praise! We probably went into the 'full DIY wedding' set up a little naively as there is a lot to consider and organise, but the result was a fully bespoke wedding weekend with everything exactly how we wanted it. The site is stunning and so large that the possibilities seem endless. The majority of our guests stayed on site Friday - Sunday and we made full use of all the facilities on offer, we hosted pizza and quiz night in the Games Barn, a 5K park run, lake swimming, and were lucky that the weather held to have our ceremony and reception drinks down by the lake and oak tree. Lucy, Will and the team were super easy to communicate with throughout the year and on the week of the wedding were so helpful, particularly in receiving various deliveries onsite before we arrived. All of our guests commented on how unique the venue was, it really felt like a personal festival. We are so excited that we will be able to return to this special place in the future to remember our wedding.

We had an exclusive wedding at lusty glaze (30.08.25) and I could not have been happier with how everything went! Our wedding planner nicole was amazing from the start and she is a real asset to the business both with her meticulous planning skills but also her infectious personality (just the type of person you want around when planning the happiest day of your life!) There was great communication throughout the year which made everything less stressful. You don't need a lot of decor at this venue as it's beautiful but the budget friendly decorations i did buy were arranged on the table beautifully. We were hoping to get married on the beach and I dreaded the idea of getting married inside as I'd convinced myself I didn't like the inside set-up. When the rain didn't allow us to get married outside, I came away thinking I'm glad I was forced to hold the ceremony inside, it was so beautiful and so much better than I pictured it (I say this so future brides know if it doesn't go to plan - it's ok!) We were lucky enough for the sun to come out around 5 o clock and the venue were brilliant at moving things outside. There was a lovely atmosphere between guests, suppliers and lusty staff. Ben, who was working, was also absolutely lovely. The co-ordinators really have a good grip on the flow of the day! The food and cocktails were delicious too! A few little tips I have for future brides - If you book an exclusive wedding and don't book the cottage and chalet, they can be booked by other people and them guests are allowed certain sections of the beach. This is in the contract but I didn't read it properly. It certainly didn't effect the day but just worth noting if it is something that bothers you or if you want the accommodation and don't book in time! The pods, you have to book the pods yourself and then hire them out to your guests. This was one of the more stressful parts of planning and we needed one pod but you have to hire them all. When I finally filled them all, the overall price of the pods had gone up by £500. I explained the situation and the venue did meet us in the middle with the price but I would say if you can it's worth paying the 50% deposit when you get the initial quote and filling them after. Guests with mobility issues - i wasn't going to get married at lusty due to the stairs but they had recommended a company that could get guests up and down. I booked the wedding without contacting them and when I did contact them, the price was extremely high and you had to give specific pick up and drop off times before the day which was difficult for us to do and my mobility-challenged guests agreed to tackle the stairs themselves in the end. The company has reasons they charge this much so I'm not bad-mouthing them. I would just advise contacting them before booking if you are relying on their services! :) None of the above are negative points, just considerations and tips for future couples! Overall it was an amazing day with many people telling me it was the best wedding they'd been to. I feel so lucky to have had our big day at this incredibly special venue!

The absolute most perfect wedding venue ever! Mapperton had everything that we wanted and we absolutely fell in love with it, no venue in the area compared!! It was a complete blank canvas in the coach house which we really liked and there were many ceremony options (inside and outside) but we opted with the croquet lawn which was simply stunning. The gardens are sensational and many of our guests have said it’s the most beautiful wedding venue they have ever been to. There’s two cottage’s on site too so we used one for the bridal party and then one for the grooms, this was such an amazing option to have and really added to the whole weekend experience! Holly our wedding co-ordinator was incredible, so kind and understanding. No question was too big and she helped us quickly on any wedding advice / help that we needed. We really appreciated her being there through anything that we needed, she was amazing on the day and it all ran smoothly which was completely all her hard work but also leading up to the wedding too. She helped so much & we truly appreciate her! She really understood our vision! If you are thinking of booking Mapperton for your wedding then DO IT, it was simply a dream come true that we will remember for the rest of our lives.
