We got married here 31/12/24. The Moonraker couldn’t do enough for us. They were AMAZING. Most of our family and friends stayed for 3 nights, and they were just SO accommodating. Courtney helped with all the wedding plans and the hotel manager James filled in the blanks and then on the day Susie was just a legend. We didn’t need to ask or hint about anything she was just on it. I literally have NOTHING negative to say about the service we received or about our day. If anything went wrong I didn’t know on the day and I’m still unaware. The entire venue was just what we wanted. Everyone to have their own space, and it not be too large where we couldn’t fill it but not too small where everyone was on top of everyone. We had the best day! Mr & Mrs Lee ✨

We were so incredibly lucky to spend our wedding day at The Great Barn this last November, 2024. Emma, John and the rest of the team were so professional and their efforts to give us the most special time was unmatched. We stayed on site for the whole weekend and felt like we had the royal treatment. The chef on site produced the most delicious food and as a chef myself I was honestly thrilled with the quality, portions, plating and flavour - so delicious. The wine selection from their supplier was extensive and fantastic - we had a truly indulgent and fabulous time. If you want to have an unforgettable, special, effortless, amazing and luxurious wedding - then book yours at The Great Barn. You won’t want to leave!

We couldn’t have chosen a better venue than Polmanter for our wedding reception! Set in the stunning Cornish countryside with gorgeous views of St Ives, it provided the most beautiful and relaxed setting for celebrating with our family and friends. From the very start, the team at Polmanter were incredible—friendly, professional, and always happy to help. They made the planning process so easy, ensuring that every detail was just as we envisioned. The reception space was immaculate and beautifully set up, creating the perfect atmosphere for our celebrations. Our guests were blown away by the lovely hall area, the welcoming feel of the venue, and how smoothly everything ran. The combination of gorgeous outdoor spaces and a stylish, comfortable reception area made for an unforgettable experience. Having the softplay there was amazing for the kids, what a great way to keep them entertained while all the adults partied! We are so grateful to the Polmanter team for helping us create the most amazing wedding reception—we truly couldn’t have asked for more! We had the most amazing wedding at HARTA Retreat and would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. We went to the venue for the first time over two years ago and have been in love since - it's totally gorgeous and set in a beautiful area. The lake is particularly stunning, but the whole grounds are perfect and well-maintained. The small tent (the nimbus) was the perfect location for our handfasting ceremony, and the area surrounding could not have been better for a relaxed reception. In terms of wedding photos and guest needs, we couldn't have picked a better location! Aaron and Miranda are the loveliest and most helpful people ever. Right from the start they have been accommodating and understanding, have helped us every step of the way (from trying out table layouts with us to 'helping' us try different Proseccos!) but have also been very good at letting us plough ahead with some of our madder plans. On the day, they were unbelievably good at being around to assist and run the behind-the-scenes stuff smoothly while artfully dodging the spotlight. We know just how much they were managing at one time, and it was impressive! They were incredibly kind to us when we were stressed, both before and after. The tipis were super comfortable and luxurious - my Grandma who was quite nervous about staying in a tent ended up having a lovely time. We got a lot of use from the massive bath and the coffee maker. There was enough accommodation to host most of our families onsite, which was a huge bonus for us. The main event tipi was unbelievably gorgeous. Everyone who entered was shocked! It was perfect for hosting the meal, and then flexible enough to host a very clumsy ceilidh afterwards. It gave very strong fairytale/fantasy vibes, and our pictures have turned out so beautifully. We couldn't be more pleased with our whole experience.

We had our wedding at Mount Pleasant Eco Park and I couldn’t recommend it enough! The site is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for our wedding day. Very relaxed vibes but can be tailored to be as formal as is appropriate for you. All of the staff were amazing on the day and the Wedding Manager, Sarah was so helpful in the planning stages and really enabled the day to proceed without any issues. We had a lot of freedom to decorate which made the day very special to us and had the barn, atrium, courtyard and amphitheatre to ourselves which are all beautiful spaces. The food from the Canteen was amazing and all vegan which some of our guests were pleasantly surprised by! The day was completely amazing and we are very grateful to the team at Mount Pleasant for helping us achieve our dream wedding!

We had a lovely winter wedding here in Nov 24. Although it is not a wedding-specific venue, it is so well set up for events that having a wedding here was easy to plan and fantastic on the day. We had the civil ceremony and reception at the venue (90 day guests, 130 for the evening), and it was a smooth day from one part of the wedding to the next. Courtney was great helping with planning and then coordination on the day, the staff were professional and unobtrusive and the food was lovely (both the wedding breakfast and the evening hog roast). Of note the chefs/team were flexible both with dietary requirements and an amendment we wanted to the set menus. We were lucky on the day with weather, but if it was raining (a danger whatever the time of year!) it wouldn't impact the day. Couldn't recommend this place enough - great location, awesome venue, professional wedding planner/coordinator and great value considering just how beautiful it is.

We had a fabulous wedding at St George's last summer! The staff were fantastic and really communicative whenever we asked questions about the venue. They were really accommodating for random requests, and helped us with last minute changes. It was one of the cheaper options we found in Bristol, but was an absolutely perfect venue for our wedding of around 90 people, with plenty of space, both inside and out, and built in bar/loos/changing rooms. It was a beautiful day, and we can definitely recommend!

I recently had my wedding at Guyers House hotel and it was absolutely perfect. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make sure our special day was exactly how we envisioned it. The wedding coordinator and general manager were both incredibly helpful and accommodating, making us feel at ease throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself was stunning, with a beautiful country house and picturesque gardens that provided the perfect backdrop for our rustic themed wedding. Not only did the venue exceed our expectations visually, but they were also transparent with any potential costs and there were no surprise bills at the end - everything was as agreed upon. Despite some negative reviews I had seen beforehand, our experience at Guyers House was nothing but positive. We were extremely happy with the level of service and care that we received and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for a wedding venue. In fact, my wife and I plan on returning for a visit in the future to relive our special day. Thank you, Guyers House, for making our wedding day truly magical.

We had the most amazing wedding at No 4, genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better day. The staff were absolutely fantastic so attentive and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Even when a button fell off my dress Marie was there with a needle and thread to sew it back on, and when we forgot the card box at Racks Harry rushed it over for us. I would highly recommend No 4 as a place to get married and if I could do it again tomorrow I would.

The barn itself is amazing but the fact you get Joss and the team as well just make this place the best!! Being a little Ott when it comes to being organised I was a little worried when it came to planning but I’ve definitely met my match with Joss, there is nothing she doesn’t know or can’t help with from the second we viewed the barn nothing was too much trouble! The team on the day were all amazing. We always knew we wanted a relaxed day and that’s is 100% what we got. We couldn’t have wished for a better venue!! Thank you Joss and team 💕
