Our day was totally perfect from start to finish, every detail considered and efficiency throughout the day mastered by the totally professional, welcoming, fun and fantastic team at Syrencot. It honestly felt like their home was ours which made the day even more magical. I know I am bias because it was our wedding day but it actually was the best day of our lives and you know you've nailed it when you inspire your closest friends to take the plunge and get hitched themselves! The venue speaks for itself, the garden is breath taking all year round, the farm shed transforms seamlessly from fancy 5* restaurant to dancefloor heaven and the perfectly designed bedrooms are there ready and waiting to revitalise your energy levels after living your best life with utter comfort. The cherry on the cake though is the wonderfully experienced, kind, supportive, energetic and patient (yes I had a couple of moments) team who hold your hand throughout the entire journey and make it the most fantastic period of time ever. When I tell you that I'd do it all again in a heart beat, I mean it. Go to the open days and experience it all, it's such an easy place to fall in love with.

We honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue than Syrencot for our wedding day.

From the moment we arrived until we left the next morning, every member of staff went above and beyond to make our day as special as possible. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds, a gorgeous glasshouse for the ceremony, a modern and spacious farmshed for the reception and a honeymoon suite that was the perfect way to end such an unforgettable day.

A special thank you has to go to Chloe, Paige, Dorian and Vivien. They were incredible throughout the entire day, but especially when we faced an unexpected issue with our registrar not turning up. It was an incredibly stressful situation, and for a while we genuinely didn’t know if we’d even be able to get married. The Syrencot team remained calm, reassured us, worked tirelessly behind the scenes and went above and beyond to help find a solution. Thanks to their dedication and professionalism, we were able to have the wedding we’d dreamed of, and we will never forget everything they did for us.

The food was absolutely delicious, and we’ve had so many compliments from our guests. The waiting staff and bar staff were all fantastic! Friendly, attentive and always smiling, helping everything run seamlessly despite the earlier disruption.

If we had one small criticism, it would be that the air conditioning wasn’t switched on in the glasshouse while our guests were waiting, which made it uncomfortably warm. Aside from that, we genuinely couldn’t fault the day.

Despite the unexpected hiccup, our wedding was still the best day of our lives, and that’s largely thanks to the incredible team at Syrencot. We would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful setting with staff who truly care about making your day as perfect as possible. I wish we could do it all again and would love an excuse to come back one day (do you do wedding anniversary parties?! 😂)

Syrencot hosted our weekend last weekend and it was absolutely amazing! From start to finish they really went above and beyond to make our day extra special! Thank you so much to the Syrencot team for making our special day come to life and creating such an organised, relaxing and enjoyable day for us and the guests. It was noted multiple times throughout the day (and since) just how on top of everything you guys were which was so nice to hear and we also felt very well looked after all day long!

As a very type A bride, I was nervous handing over the control to someone else but wow you guys just made it so easy for me and everything went absolutely perfect. I didn’t feel like I was worried about anything on the day as I could see how well everything was going which after years in the planning was so nice to see!

Being able to have our special fur baby there with us as our ring bearer was also such an amazing touch and one that really made the day the absolute perfect day that it was. Thank you for allowing this to happen and making him feel so welcome and at home!

We had the best day ever having our wedding day at Syrencot. Everything was done with such attention to detail from the billiard room to get ready, the accomodation in Syrencot House, the absolutely fantastic food and drink and the beautiful farmshed and ceremony room. Paige was attentive and ensured that our entire day ran smoothly. We had soo many compliments from guests about this beautiful venue and would highly highly recommend.

We chose Syrencot for our wedding because it is a beautiful venue and we could not have been happier with how the day went. The staff were extremely accommodating and really lovely, especially Dorian the general manager who was an absolute godsend on the day! The wedding ran smoothly. The food and service was amazing - we had a lot of complements about the menu, including the surprise course, the drinks and the evening pizza. Having accommodation on-site was a real bonus. We had a fabulous wedding day and would recommend Syrencot to anyone looking to get married in Wiltshire.

From the beginning Syrencot were nothing but professional.
We went for a bespoke menu as we love the country western style and wanted American style bbq.
I was so worried because I was unable to taste the food before the day, apprehension didn’t even describe it!
However, a BIG however, I never ever should have worried. The food was a hit with not only me but with every guest! The venue itself was gorgeous, the rooms were complimented by both us and the guests that stayed, everyone wanted photos around the venue and it was stunning!
The ceremony itself was a washout, however, big shout out to Paige for honestly not letting it ever affect me. She honestly couldn’t do enough for us and she put up with every mad question I had! She carried my dress, she checked in on every guest and I felt like it couldn’t have gone smoother thanks to her and the bar staff! The day was just simply perfect and the day was magical thanks to the venue.

We fell in love with Syrencot as soon as drove up the driveway on our first viewing. We knew it was the perfect venue for us. We love that the venue speaks for itself and does not need much decoration.
The staff were always so helpful in person and via email.
Our day exceed expectations, we could relax knowing that Leah and the rest of the team knew what they were doing. The service during our wedding breakfast was amazing, very professional and the food was delicious.
All of our guests loved our day as much as we did and we can't thank the team at Syrencot enough.

We had our dream wedding at Syrencot, they were extremely helpful with our requests and have thought of most things already for you, including a great spreadsheet and document to help you keep track.

You have a dedicated wedding coordinator, which is extremely helpful, ours did change half way through but both Paige and Leah were lovely!

You are supplied with a brochure which they refer to for pricing etc. We are big foodies and it was great to discuss the menu with the chef, as you can pretty much have anything you want.

On the day, everything just happened in the background without us having to ask, a great extra touch is serving us separate drinks, along with our own canapés so we didn’t miss out when everything is hectic.

We had the most memorable day!

Got married on 12th sept 2025, it was our dream venue and loved how particular they were...however on the day this was not the case.
Below is my email I sent to Syrencot

-The wedding coordinator changed 3 times and I wasn't informed about the final change. It would have been nice to touch base prior to the day, this meant that lots of things discussed in the meetings were missed.
-The champagne glasses in the billiard rooms had lipstick on and my photographer had to get them changed.
Whilst i was getting my hair and make up done, I had to resend over the table guest layout and the music playlists even though these were sent over via email to Syrencot.
-The timings for clearing out the billiard room were really last minute and we had no warning which meant when I needed the girls to help me finish getting ready and back down the stairs, they were clambering around trying to clear the room.
-In the room where the groomsmen were getting ready, they had to chase the brunch boards and beer buckets which did not arrive until 11.50
-Whilst my husband was getting ready they were just about to do port toasts and he got dragged away with no warning for the registrar so ended up not doing the toast!
-A bottle of prosecco only had one glass out of it from the billiard room and was informed this would be popped on the top table for us to finish and it wasn't.
-There was no music played in the glass house whilst waiting for us to walk up the aisle, even though i had a pre ceremony playlist made and sent over and the quality of the speaker in the glass house was terrible and you couldn't hear the music over the air con. It was totally inaudible.
-After the ceremony, we were informed that we would be having photos whilst the canapes would be going round, so a spare board would be given to us so we didn't miss out. I had one canape before being whisked off for photos and never saw them again.
-The cutlery hadn't been polished and there were water marks all over it on the table layout.
-There was a request to have 3 high chairs placed at the table settings, via emails during all of the consultations, these were not placed.
-When the food came out, we all expected the top table to be served first but it came out in random orders and everyone commented on this.
-My steak was chewy and i end up leaving it (I do understand that this is something that is out of your hands and you cannot tell when you are cooking)
-There was lots of wine left (and some unopened) on the tables before being cleared for the evening, we have no idea where any of that went! Surely the fact we paid for it, should have either been left out or returned to us?
-After cutting the cake it was agreed that a 1/4 of each tier was to be kept for us to take home. I have taken a photo because when we received the cake the next morning I was upset by the absolute state of it. It was squashed and barely any left!
-The cake topper was missing on the morning when we were collecting everything but we didn't notice until we arrived home due to everything being pushed into boxes. This clearly said Mr and Mrs XXXXX and it was put into lost property rather than a simple message to say we have it.
-The fairy lights were already in place in the dining hall and we had been informed they would not be fitted so we spent £60 on our own that were not needed.
-Napkins were also provided and again, we had spent money on our own and had to switch them out on the day of.

They responded with what seems to be excuses and sent an apology hamper. Communication would have solved a lot of the issues, with myself and my husband and between the staff. Unfortunately that doesn't seem enough after the state of our cake being returned and everything else after the cost of the wedding.

Things I didn't bring to syrencots attention

-My veil was taken (as agreed) and to be popped in the master suite...it was not so I was panicking where it was to find it in a guest room.
-The tea and coffee in both the billiard room and breakfast was not adequately supplied for the amount of guests
-Lots of people commented regarding the price of the drinks
-Evening food -we had pizza and I didn't even get any! Because I was being dragged from one person to another I completely missed the pizzas coming out and no one even thought to offer the bride any!

All in, we had a great day and thankfully I didn't let these things ruin it, but we felt let down after Syrencot is know for it's service and detail.

Couldn’t recommend Syrencot enough! It was our perfect venue, with picturesque views, fantastic food, helpful staff and we received so many compliments from our guests. Leah was so helpful and no question was too big or small.

We had our day on Sunday 10th August 2025. We instantly fell in love with the venue when we booked it in November 2023 - the Billiard Room for the bridal party to get ready in is simply gorgeous - full of natural light and very spacious.
The glasshouse and farmshed both have air con, which for a summer wedding was a huge bonus.
The tasting menu event held for booked couples was a brilliant experience and gave us real confidence in the food and service. On the day itself, many of our guests commented on the quality of the food, which was amazing, and the attentive service of the staff during the wedding breakfast.
We had several guests with allergies/intolerances - including a bridesmaid with coeliac disease - and the venue came up with suitable and tasty alternative dishes with ease, including for the get-ready food and breakfast the next day.
Everyone we interacted with at Syrencot - from our first show-round with Simi, to venue visits with Mya, Charlotte, and Dorian - was professional, knowledgeable and clearly held a passion and pride for the venue. We really appreciated the flexibility with menu choices and help with wine pairings!
Our event manager for the day was Leah, who deserves a special mention for her organisation and calm presence. She ensured everything run smoothly - I'm sure much of which was behind the scenes.
Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better venue or team. Syrencot is stunning, but having a team on hand who know how to do weddings well is invaluable, and for that we're so grateful.

We had our wedding here in July, and it was truly everything we dreamed of and more. The gardens were absolutely stunning—lush, vibrant, and the perfect backdrop for our photos and ceremony.

The service was exceptional from start to finish. As a bride, I didn’t have to check the time once all day because everything ran so seamlessly. Our events manager was incredible—so organized, attentive, and calm. They handled every detail with such care and made the entire day flow effortlessly.

One thing that really stood out was their attention to detail, especially regarding allergies. We had a guest say it was the first time her children’s allergies had ever been accommodated so thoroughly at a venue. It meant so much to us and to our guests to know everyone was cared for.

The staff were also fantastic—so friendly, professional, and accommodating to any last-minute changes we needed. We felt so supported and taken care of the entire time.

We can’t thank the team enough for making our wedding day so perfect. Highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful location and a team that goes above and beyond.

We had the most perfect wedding day at this beautiful venue. We feel so incredibly lucky that we found it and that we got to spend the happiest day of our lives here. All the staff were superb from start to finish, Leah was incredible and couldn’t have been more helpful on the day. She really helped to calm my nerves as I was getting ready to walk down the aisle and I felt very reassured by her. I had organised for a butterfly release which the staff took care of perfectly.

All our guests kept saying how beautiful the venue was and we feel truly blessed to have got married here!
