We held our wedding at Hestercombe, hosted by the amazing Stables team. All I can say is our day was 100% perfect start to finish - Courtney has been fabulous throughout and no request was ever an issue. We felt like we really got to make the day our own and all our guests had nothing but praise for the service, food, and flow of the day. The wedding breakfast was above and beyond your typical bland wedding food, we are so impressed at the quality being produced on such a large scale. Small touches and behind the scenes seamlessness are what made the day. We would 100% recommend.

We had our Wedding in August 2025 here at the Stunning Limpley Stoke Hotel. From the moment we booked the venue until the morning after the wedding was an absolute breeze so well organised, stress free and professional. Karen was amazing on any emails we sent and on our meetings was so knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and accommodating. The wedding team that made our day so perfect are just incredible all our guests couldn’t believe how relaxed and smooth our whole wedding was and that was thanks to the team at Limpley Stoke Hotel it was faultless. Breakfast, Welcome Drinks, Canapés, Wedding Breakfast and Evening Buffet totally delicious and who can forget the bar staff so happy and friendly. The hotel and views are just stunning. Old oak farm where do I begin! This venue is beyond stunning! I have been watching old oak for a long time and couldn’t wait to see the venue. When we arrived the venue was still in building mode but we could see the potential from then and knew that was the perfect place for us to get married. The whole process has been easy, great communication and lots of support. We had a few meetings and each time the owners were lovely, really friendly and helpful, we spoke about what sort of things we wanted and Rebecca really helped us with ideas and offered us her props and decorations, we went through all the food options and running of the day, there were some many things to choose from which was lovely as I left feeling more together and organised. The day of the wedding the venue was just perfect, the set up was everything we had wanted and more. When I arrived the owners and staff were all there ready and willing to help. After the ceremony the staff were there being attentive giving out drinks and our canapés. We went off for photos but when we came back we had sliders presented to us which was a nice touch as I know sometimes the bride and groom can get forgotten whilst they aren’t there and there’s nothing left when they get back. Though out the day the staff were amazing always there to help but at the same time they were very discreet which again is another great attitude. We had a buffet style meal which was absolutely beautiful, as our meal was served Rebecca came with a separate plate for me (I hadn’t noted down my food preferences when I had done the other guests but Rebecca had picked up on it during our pre wedding conversations, which was a really lovely touch with a attention to detail). This happened again in the evening, we had homemade pizzas which my husband couldn’t have, the staff checked in with him asking if he wanted his separate order, he wasn’t ready so they checked in shortly after making sure he wasn’t forgotten and no one else got his dish. The venue was kept clean and tidy all day but again without us even knowing, the day ran like clockwork and Rebecca and her staff checked in making sure we were happy or needed anything though out the day. We had so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was, how attentive the staff were, how clean the venue was especially the toilets which everyone loved. As for the food everyone was so impressed, the vegetarians said it was nice that they received their food first because they often feel like an afterthought or forgotten. Everyone said it was the nicest wedding food they had ever had with lots of choice and variety and that there plenty of it. It was the same for the evening meal the fresh cooked pizzas cooked outside went down a treat. The night of the wedding we stayed at the venue, again there was so much attention to detail in the room, lovely robes and mr and Mrs cups, bubbly, biscuits and strawberries then croissants for breakfast and the quaint Little lodge was tucked out of the way and just beautiful. The following morning the staff and cleaned up and packed all our stuff up making it really easy for us to pack up. We had such an amazing day, it was everything we wanted and more and that’s all thanks to old oak farm and their amazing staff, we can not thank you enough for being so attentive and amazing, we wouldn’t have wanted to have our wedding anyway else it was just perfect, you should be very proud of what you have created and the work you do. Old oak is absolutely stunning with its pure attention to detail it really is beautiful. The communication, support and flexibility has been spot on. On the day we were well looked after, the staff were brilliant, there but discreet, very friendly and approachable, great customer care. The venue was beautiful, so clean and tidy all day, the toilet received lots of compliments about how nice they were as well as always clean. The whole process has been a breeze, I really enjoyed planning our wedding with old oak farm, I really lovely, unforgettable experience.

My and my husband could not of asked for a better wedding day, everyone went above and beyond to make sure it was perefct, which it was ( just wish we could control the heat wave) Everyone was so helpful, welcoming always there at the end of the phone or email. We will be back to stay and rememeber our day over and over.

My Wife and I were married at Haselbury Mill on the 23rd December and it was simply the most beautiful venue and setting for our day. We were worried a winter wedding may be a little too dark and devoid of light, however the venue and subsequent grounds made for an idyllic wedding and the Tithe Barn was simply stunning against a winter backdrop. Upon arriving the day before our wedding to set up - We were greeted with staff that could not do enough for us and they made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived, to the time we checked out as Husband and Wife on Christmas Eve. Beth - Haslebury's wedding planner was simply brilliant. Her calmness, experience and determination to make our day a success went far beyond what I was expecting and her passion for our wedding was radiant. Beth was a constant source of assistance throughout our journey. From planning to implementing, to giving us advice about the day - Beth was always on-hand to help. Nothing was ever a problem for her, and we would have been lost without her. Tracey, who assisted throughout the day, was a calming friendly presence who spent a lot of time with my bride on the day to ensure she wanted for nothing. Tracy was amazing - and her commitment to Carly (My Wife) was fantastic to see. Her caring nature made her feel more like a close member of our wedding party as opposed to a member of staff. Tracey was simply brilliant. All in all, our 3 days were simply amazing - The grounds were stunning, the Barn breathtaking, the Hotel/Coach House/Mill rooms and suites were to a really high standard, and the food from the night before, the Wedding Breakfast, and the evening buffet itself were incredible, but it was the effort Beth and the team put into making the whole experience magical, is what made the day what it was. I really cannot thank them enough and would recommend Haselbury Mill to anyone. We absolutely loved it and cant wait to return. Thank you again Haselbury. Mr Watts

25/09/25 - found Priston mill on Hitched - it was the first place we viewed and booked straight away! We didn’t view anywhere else. The place is gorgeous, very reasonably priced and all the staff were amazing. We were assigned a coordinator who was with us during the planning meeting, the set up and the day (Johanna!) and she was so friendly and helpful and made everything super easy! Priston mill were quick to respond and have everything thought of and just get things done taking all stress away. We were so impressed with the space and they collaborate well with all vendors making everything come together nicely. The waiters were friendly and professional. The food was glorious and had many compliments (thank you chef!). Would fully fully recommend!!

Working backwards - on reflection, this was such a brilliant event. Made possible by all the excellent staff behind the scenes and Kate and Darcy who were always front and centre of it all. Such a help for us throughout the planning and execution. On the day, they acted with perception filters on - I knew they were always there, but never in your face. So helpful and kind. They were also helpful with the choice of singer and cake provide - both of which were excellent too. Tom Carpenter was fabulous before and during the event - such a showman. We were looked after from the point we arrived - we stayed the night before and had Sunday lunch - amazing! And the breakfasts were fabulous. Then there's the spa facilities which were also great. Such a great time, which will always hold fond memories in our hearts...

We viewed Taunton School as a possible venue, and the minute we saw the Old Library and the grounds, we were absolutely happy to book. What solidified it was the price. We paid just over £4k for use of the Old Library for our ceremony and reception, as well as an afternoon tea buffet, a bbq in the evening, and the DJ and disco for the evening. The communication back and forward was fantastic. They are still a school first so you can expect a day or two to pass inbetween emails, but the planning process was made so much easier by the incredible staff. Mel was brilliant throughout. Anything I could think of, she would do her best to make it happen. The day before we were given access to decorate our tables. The staff had already got the tables dressed with linen and crockery with the correct number of seats based on our table plan. Mel went through the music with us and tested their speaker with us the day before as well so we were all good to go. The day itself flew by, but was fantastic. The staff were all so amazing and lovely. They worked so hard to make sure we were all comfortable and loving the day. I actually had a bit of a sore throat on the day, the lovely staff kept bringing me camomile tea to help soothe it. The food was incredible. It was soooo tasty. We had leftover cake here for days afterwards, and it was still just as enjoyable as on the day. There was so much to choose from. The catering team they have there deserve awards! The BBQ in the evening again was delicious! The chefs and team were all so friendly and approachable. If you are looking for a wedding venue on a bit more of a budget, but still wanting that dream wedding experience, absolutely give Taunton School a chance. You will not regret it!

We loved our wedding at Walton Park. It was great value for money, is in the most wonderfully scenic location and we were able to tailor our own package. The staff were efficient and friendly and kept in constant contact and Kat was so wonderfully helpful. We were able to provide our own decor which the team laid out beautifully. Everything went completely without a hitch and all of our guests commented on what a fabulous day it was.
