My wife and I celebrated our wedding at Tortworth Court on 25/12/2025. Throughout the entire process, the wedding coordination team were absolutely incredible. We would highly recommend Tortworth Court as a wedding venue.
Communication:
From the booking process to the day itself. The wedding coordination team always made time to accommodate requests and stayed in constant communication. Reducing stress significantly.
Organisation:
We had the pleasure of being handled by Alex and later by Kate (due to Alex going on maternity leave, Congratulations by the way!). The handover process between coordinators was seamless and it was clear their systems were well updated and communication between the team was strong. We were given access to a shared google sheets document to store all of our wedding planning information. A genius way for the team to keep tabs on our planning and allow for transparent communication.
The Venue:
As our wedding ceremony took place in a church, we used Tortworth Court for the drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening do.
The drinks reception took place in the Brunel room, a beautiful space with a wooden bar. We were initially worried about this space as we first saw it with corporate conference furniture. We needn't have worried, on the day the space was decked out with elegant marble topped tables.
Our wedding breakfast and evening do took place in the Orangery, a breathtaking and intimate space. We had a top table, with 9 round tables fitting a total of 100 guests. As night fell, the orangery was lit up and looked incredible from all angles.
The surrounding grounds were picturesque and perfect for our wedding photographs.
The Food:
From the canapes to the wedding breakfast, the food was served to a very high standard, and we got lots of positive feedback from our guests. Our evening food was partly catered by Tortworth Court, as we had a Sri Lankan food truck (Srilicious) as our main dish. The day was organised in a way that the guests never went hungry.
On the day:
We had the absolute pleasure of having Danke as our operations manager on the day and we were incredibly impressed by her energy, quick thinking and troubleshooting ability. She saved the day (quite literally) on many occasions and was very personable. Thank you so much Danke for everything you did to make our day so special.
We also had Toastmaster Dave as our constant companion throughout the day. We was great at organising guests and making announcements. Thank you Dave!!
The rooms:
The majority of our guests stayed at the hotel, despite the busy Christmas/New Year period, we had no trouble getting everyone booked in. There was a little issue with the check in on the day before, but this was quickly handled, and Tortworth court kindly offered us use of the Brunel room for a dinner gathering on the night before, this turned out to be very special and added to the wedding experience.
Hopefully I haven't missed out anything important in this review, but it is clear to us that Tortworth Court is a highly professional wedding venue and all the individuals involved worked hard to make sure we had the best day ever! Would highly recommend! Thank you everyone!

Where do we even begin with Elvis?! From the moment we arrived, he was absolutely incredible. Full of energy, warmth and enthusiasm, Elvis genuinely didn’t stop all day. He was constantly checking in with the bride, groom and wedding party throughout the morning and into the day, while somehow also making sure everything behind the scenes was running perfectly.
He brought such a wonderful energy to the whole day. He was bubbly, reassuring and always had a smile on his face. No problem was ever too big or too small, and it was clear that every single detail mattered to him. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
So many of our guests commented on how fantastic Elvis was and what a huge role he played in making our wedding day so special. He went above and beyond in ways we’ll never forget, from bringing us mints and plasters, to fixing broken braces, checking that everyone was okay, and even being the first person to sign our guest book, complete with a little Polaroid snap of us!
It was the little things, the big things, and everything in between that made Elvis so special. He wasn’t just our wedding manager, he genuinely felt like part of the day, and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better to look after us.

We had our beautiful day on 10/07/26. We are lost for words. When I say it was the best day of our lives, that is an understatement.
We had our ceremony/wedding breakfast/ evening in the orangery and it is just the most beautiful setting. The food was absolutely incredible - all of our guests have commented on the quality and standard!! The wine during the wedding breakfast was beautiful - guests took photos so that they could purchase afterwards (even those that don’t usually drink wine!!)
Bradley, our wedding co-ordinator was amazing from start to finish. Becky, our on the day operations manager, was just absolutely incredible. We met her the day before our wedding and she was so attentive, kind and did her utmost to ensure we had the best day ever - and she truly delivered. If you’re lucky enough to have Becky, you will not be disappointed!!
Ian, our toast master, was fab. He rang us a few days before the ceremony to introduce himself and he ensured the day went smoothly.
There isn’t one fault to mention with this venue. If you are considering this as your wedding venue, just book it!! It is worth every penny.

Tortworth Court was amazing! Eve, Elvis and the whole Tortworth team were incredible! I cannot thank you all enough for how special you made me us feel. Nothing was ever too much for you guys!

I can honestly Tortworth all made our day so perfect. Every one of our guests said how on it they all were, how nice the food was, and how lovely the staff were! And how incredible Eve and Elvis were! It was so nice not to lift a finger in the morning, making our day just extra special! Everyone just went above and beyond!

Elvis was amazing on the day, he did everything, my hair fell out, he clipped it back in, my feet hurt he gave me flip flops for the evening, checked all the boys phones and wallets were put of there pockets! We did not have to think about anything as Elvis was already on it!

Elvis and Eve made everything go so smoothly, we arrived the day before, he took our cake to the kitchen, assembled it for us, took all our signage, all the reserved seat signs, showed us all where it was going, lifted our mirror sign to the correct place and said go relax, they will do everything! And they did, the whole Tortworth Court team did everything! I have never been so relaxed! All went perfectly!

Eve, was amazing organising it all for me, making wedding planning a joy! I cannot thank Eve enough for easing my mind throughout this whole process!

We stayed two night in the gorgeous bridal suite, they brought us breakfast in bed the morning of our wedding, it was such a lovely way to start our special day.

We’ll be back for our anniversary!

The venue is stunning, food was excellent. But what really made all of the difference to our wedding day was our wedding coordinator Bradley and our Ops manager Elvis. In the lead up to the wedding Bradley answered all of our questions and helped us to navigate our day. Nothing was too much trouble. We met Elvis the day before and from beginning to end he was absolutely fantastic. The day would not have been the same had he of not been with us. Everything run smoothly, I could not find a single fault and this was down to the hard work of Bradley and Elvis and all of the wonderful staff on the day. All of our guests commented on how wonderful everything was and how seamlessly things worked. I would recommend this venue to anyone thinking of booking their wedding.

I had the most amazing wedding day - I wouldn't have changed a thing. Beautiful venue, great food and really well organised. Elvis was brilliant and was there every step of the way - discreetly resolving any blips and keeping calm throughout. Dave was an excellent toastmaster - so kind and composed. I am so so happy that we chose to get married at Tortworth.

We got married in the orangery in Tortworth Court in April. All of the staff were amazing from the booking process to the day of the wedding. Becky was fantastic on the day and we could not have asked for more from her. She helped us unload the decorations the day before and stored them securely, she decorated the venue for us, kept checking on both myself and husband to ensure we were ok and had everything we needed, and made sure we always had a drink in hand. The venue is 10/10 stunning and I’d recommend the venue to anyone.

We got married in the Orangery in April 2025- Thank you to Eve and the whole team, there is not one thing we would change about the day it was the most magical day.
Eve made the whole planning process stress free and we could not thank her more for all your help and advice across the whole process.
Everyone said the day was amazing and beautiful and I could not thank Danka more for everything she done in the day to making sure we had more coffee and water, to decorating the orangery and taking everything into the Brunel Suit to decorate in there to even helping our photographer Martin with our wedding photos.
All of the staff when helping with our wedding breakfast was perfect and really made the day so much more special, even recognising that two people was taking it in turns to look after their one year old so bringing out their food separate.
The care we received from the moment we arrived on the Saturday to everything they done on the day was unbelievable and I cannot thank you all enough for everything you done for us.
I would recommend you all to everyone planning on getting married and would do it again in a heartbeat.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue. Everything was flawless, the grounds and the building itself are absolutely breathtaking, our guests were genuinely in awe of its beauty.
We spent the entire day here, and it was everything we had hoped for and more. Every detail was catered for, and the day ran so smoothly thanks to the incredible team on site. A very special shout out goes to Eve and Becky, our wonderful wedding coordinators, they were with us every step of the way, so calm, kind, and professional. Their support and organisation made the whole experience stress-free and truly enjoyable. They genuinely cared about making our day perfect, and we’re so grateful for them.

We are so proud of ourselves for deciding to have our wedding at De Vere Tortworth! It’s been 8 months since our big day, and we still have friends and family talking about how blown away they were by everything. The staff seamlessly transitioned the venue throughout the night and were nothing short of spectacular. The wedding coordinators Alexandra and Elvis, were PERFECT. Kept everything running smoothly while we could just enjoy our wedding. We are looking forward to spending our one year anniversary here and plan to visit many more times. 5 stars. Highly recommend!

Our wedding day at De Vere Tortworth Court was nothing short of magical. The dedicated wedding team was incredibly helpful and attentive, guiding us through every step of the planning process. A massive shout out to Polly for all the hand holding through the process, Danka for taking over on the day and making sure everything ran smoothly for us and Elvis for being everywhere and anywhere on the day to help us and the guests!

The Orangery, where we held our ceremony and wedding breakfast, was simply breathtaking. The architecture is stunning and it feels like a setting that was equally as beautiful during the day as it is lit up at night. The food was amazing, our guests loved their food and the venue.

We highly recommend De Vere Tortworth Court to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable wedding venue and day.

I have nothing but praise for the team at De Vere Tortworth Court. Eve was incredibly efficient as our wedding planner and hand holder, she kept us on track every step of the way. I felt the communication and meetings were so helpful. Elvis on the day was just a dream, he organised EVERYONE and brought my vision to life! Our guests absolutely LOVED him and suppliers too. They work so hard for you, ensuring your day is everything you dream of and MORE! I would strongly recommend this venue, oh and if you’re after a rustic vibe, use their Tipi for your wedding breakfast - it’s such a more relaxed setting and our guests LOVED the tapas buffet. I can wholeheartedly recommend! You wont regret it!

We had the best day at Tortworth Court. I had my heart set on an Orangery & my partner wanted an on site venue where guests could stay the weekend. Tortworth ticked all the boxes. The Orangery is absolutely stunning and allowed us to have outdoor vibes under shelter (which turned out to be necessary as we had a very wet day). We landed on a Tropical theme for the wedding which worked perfectly in the orangery too.

Eve was always on hand to answer my many questions in the build up and we had Zoom check in's along the way to run through everything. Danka also took charge on the day and made sure that everything ran smoothly for us. Everything went to plan (despite people assuring me that something would go wrong and I should accept it!). We had the most amazing day - thank you everyone at Tortworth Court for making it so special!

What a place to get married! We feel so privileged to have got married in the orangery. Such a beautiful setting for a special day, we did not need to add many touches as it is already breathtaking with what is already included.
Elvis was brilliant throughout, greeting us the day before and looking after us throughout the day, appearing to be everywhere needed. He was very professional and made sure everything was perfect, fitting the MOB’s bracelet, fixing all the groomsmen’s buttonholes, organising everyone and ensuring the day went seamlessly and looking after the guests who all commented that they loved him. Jane was fabulous as well, she was very witty and added some pizzazz to the day. We had the perfect wedding co-ordinator and the perfect toastmaster.
The food was delicious and was enjoyed by all. There were plenty of rooms to accommodate all our guests which were all finished to a high standard. The breakfast was a great way to end our stay and we will be coming back for any reason that we can think of. Would recommend 11/10!

My husband and I recently had our wedding at Tortworth Court. It is the most stunning venue, and the wedding co-ordinating staff are exceptional, especially Elvis! Any question, any suggestion or idea the team couldn't be more helpful to bring our vision to life. The facilities, staff, food, venue - everything was exceptional.
