Perfect Wedding reception
We had our wedding reception at Lydiard House in March 2014 and the team did a great job, everything ran smoothly from start to finish and I have to highly praise the food, not only did they deviate from their set menu to accommodate our sausage and mash request, but the starter, main and dessert were all highly praised by all of our guests, as were the late night bacon rolls they provided. Overall a brilliant experience and I would highly recommend this venue.Sent on 16/06/2014

A stunning place to wed!!
Lydiard House is a beautiful and picturesque place to get married any time of the year. We gor married in December and the listed building is ideal for the photos both inside and out. The ceremony is intimate and the sweeping staircase is gorgeous to exit onto when the ceremony is over. Chartridge do everything in their power to make it a perfect day and the organising of the wedding was stress-free and thorough. The staff were lovely and would do everything to make sure the day went without a hitch and it pretty much did. The only downside was the bar tender who could have been a little bit more enthusiastic about serving the guests. On the whole it is a great venue, not too expensive but certainly not too shabby!!Sent on 06/06/2014
