I was determined to have the cathedral suite for our wedding and I’m so glad we booked it. It’s a stunning suite which was a joy to get ready in for my wedding. Staff were super helpful and attentive, the food was delicious. My only issue was on the fact that the seating was a little low for my hair and makeup artist to work with - so I’d suggest brides ask for an extra chair in advance!

We have just had the most magical wedding at The Suncliff - what a gorgeous hotel! They have been amazing at coordinating our wedding and helping us with planning and organizing every step of the way. The package includes the 3-course meal, drinks reception and drinks during meal, ceremony room hire, disco, buffet, and a complimentary night stay in their amazing sea view suite, plus more! All the staff are friendly and attentive in helping to make the day flow smoothly and we couldn't be more impressed. All our family and friends adored the hotel, the rooms, the facilities, and the area - they were super impressed. Would hugely recommend The Suncliff Hotel if you're looking for a hotel wedding near the beach or in Dorset - it is perfect in every way.

We had the most wonderful, special day! From the moment we decided to change venues due to our previous venue not communicating at all with us, Vicky and Chelsea saved our wedding! They were honestly the most amazing people throughout and probably the reason I was a very chilled out bride! They communicated throughout our planning and no question went un-answered! The day ran smoothly from start to finish with the lovely Rachel helping from the moment I stepped out the wedding car and needing my change of shoes!! To organising when everything was taking place through the day! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the day and the food was incredible! The bridal suite is gorgeous, even if we didn't spend much time there after getting to our room about 2am!! But it was the rest we needed after a really spectacular day! We contacted champernhayes to host our guests for our River Cottage based wedding. They were helpful and thoughtful from day 1 The site is really beautiful and 10 minutes from the venue Everyone loved having their own property to relax and get ready in We had a family BBQ on the lawns over looking the valley It was perfect The location is handy for beach walks and lots of shops etc We will book to stay for our anniversary

It’s almost impossible to write a review that does justice to just how incredibly perfect our wedding was at Talland Bay hotel. Right from our initial visit, we fell in love with this magical hotel. Everything from the stunning views, the most luxurious bedrooms, the amazing views, the incredible food, this really is a very special place. We found planning our wedding with Jack, Kyra and the whole team very easy and straightforward. It was very clear from the outset the entire team at Talland Bay are incredibly passionate, dedicated and professional. Nothing was ever too much, and even with Covid meaning our date had to change several times, the understanding and flexibility shown never faltered. The sun shone for our wedding day, which for late October was truly a blessing. This meant that for our ceremony we were able to have the doors open and say our vows with the incredible view and sea sparkling in the background. Perfection. We feel so lucky we found Talland Bay Hotel and were able to get married there. We had the most amazing wedding and it’s something we will never forget. We went back for our 1st wedding anniversary and it felt so comfortable to be back, almost like the feeling of being at home. As usual, the staff, rooms, food and views were just as we remembered. Outstanding. Thank-you Talland Bay Hotel, you will always a very special place in our hearts. We hope to be back and see you all soon.

We got married in April 2023 , Kate was fab from start to finish, from the moment we booked to the actual day! Our family and friends loved the venue. Would highly recommend this venue for your wedding!

We had an amazing experience with the whole team. Georgia was excellent and couldn’t do more than she did. Every member of staff offered help at every poi t across the weekend and the extra attention for our dog made him fill like he was at home. The service, food and organisation was brilliant, all the guests were so positive and many would love to return again.

We held our venue at The Hampton By Hilton Torquay and it spectacular. The staff were amazing and the aesthetic of the venue is exactly what I was looking for.

From beginning to end, Bekka and her team made the entire experience easy and painless, with their experience and advice. Emails were answered promptly, and nothing was too much trouble for them. On our wedding day itself, all of the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Many of our guests commented on how helpful and friendly all of the hotel staff they encountered were, and they went the extra mile without being asked (for example, asking a friends children if they wanted an alternative meal to the adult version). The following day, when collecting everything, all the staff we met couldn’t do enough to help, particularly when an elderly relative had a fall and a staff member waited with her for nearly 4 hours until the paramedics arrived. We also booked a Sunday lunch for 18 people for the following day, which rounded off the weekend nicely. Amazing venue, fantastic staff, excellent value for money and have no hesitation in recommending them.
