Thanks to the Harbour team our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. We chose the Harbour hotel because we’ve had so many happy memories in St Ives and it holds a special place in our hearts. The setting is beautiful overlooking Porthminster beach (Where we had some beautiful photos!). The Harbour suite blew us away with the sea view back drop.

The events team were amazing from start to finish and so attentive to all our needs. Bliss, Abi and Kelsie completely blew us away. I felt like nothing was too much and they made wedding planning a positive experience. They were completely transparent and there were no hidden fees. 

On the day they helped us to feel so relaxed. Everything ran smoothly and all staff were friendly and approachable. They dealt and managed the 120++ excitable guests extremely well. The food and service were outstanding, with the chocolate brownie and pasties being a real hit! 

The team put Guinness on draft especially for us as we mentioned we had lots of Irish Guinness drinking guests! ( we didn't even have to ask!)

We stayed in the Harbour Hotel from Thursday to Monday with the wedding on Saturday. The events team upgraded us to a beautiful suite on the Thursday night to help fit all our extra wedding bits. The Bridal suite was absolutely stunning and made the wedding morning so much fun, with a bridal breakfast delivered to us whilst getting ready. 

The Events team also brought us a beautiful gift of two personalised 'Mr & Mrs' mugs. This was so unexpected and thoughtful! 

All our guests are still telling us what an amazing day and location it was! We wish we could do it all again! If you are considering booking this venue, do not think twice!

Our day was hand on heart, perfect from start to finish. We literally had to worry about nothing on the day. Abi was absolutely brilliant leading up to the day and on the day. Honestly couldn’t thank her and the team more. All the logistical details were taken care of, and it was genuinely a hassle free process from handover the day before to leaving the day after. So many of our guests said it was the best wedding they’ve been to ever and that the venue was absolutely gorgeous. We chose this venue for the views and the packages were really good and didn’t change across the different months of the year. It did help we had glorious sunshine all day. Wish we could relive this magical day over and over. And we loved the little gift from the hotel we found when we returned to our room for the night. Forever cherished memories.

For the beautiful views and within walking distance to the beach, I was expecting to pay over the odds, but it was a bargain!
We had quotes from various other venues inland and without the gorgeous setting, and they were all more expensive!
The venue is stunning, light, spacious, and with those beautiful blue waters behind you, it’s the perfect place!

iIt was everything we could have dreamed of and more. From the very beginning, the whole team were incredible. Every single person made us feel supported, listened to, and completely at ease.
Erin and Abi looked after us with such care and professionalism, making the whole process effortless, even from 5 hours away!!

On the wedding day itself, Abi was simply perfect. We can still picture her beaming smile now! Every detail was nailed to perfection. We had a very last-minute change to the guest list, Abi took care of it straight away, so we didn’t have to worry for a moment.

The food was insanely good. Combined with the stunning setting and magical atmosphere, it truly made the whole experience unforgettable.

Abigail our wedding coordinator was outstanding! Her attention to detail, professionalism and calming presence throughout the entire process were truly appreciated.

From our very first meeting, the team were responsive, organised and truly invested in making our day perfect. Every question was answered quickly and thoroughly, no matter how small the detail.

On the big day, everything flowed effortlessly ,all we had to do was enjoy ourselves. It was clear that Abihail and the team were always one step ahead, anticipating needs before they even arose. Guests even commented on how smooth and organised everything felt.

If you are planning a wedding, we can’t recommend them highly enough. They truly went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable! Every member of staff we came into contact with treated us with such kindness and care.

We honestly can’t thank Bliss and the entire team at the St Ives Harbour Hotel enough for helping us deliver such a perfect wedding day. From start to finish, everything ran smoothly, professionally, and with a real sense of warmth.

Value for money was outstanding — the quality of the service, the venue itself, and the food were all top-tier. Speaking of the food, it was amazing and served exactly on time, which we really appreciated.

The staff were fantastic across the board — friendly, professional, and clearly working as a team. They kept us in the loop at all the right times without ever feeling overbearing. We were able to drop items off the day before, and they worked brilliantly with all of our suppliers. I genuinely don’t recall a single thing we asked for being a problem — just great service from a team who clearly know how to host weddings.

One thing worth mentioning is the venue's music decibel limit, which some people might worry about. But honestly, don’t let that put you off. The sound levels were more than loud enough — any louder and you wouldn’t have been able to hear yourself think! With the right DJ or band, there’s absolutely no compromise on atmosphere.

The views from the hotel are stunning. We held our ceremony upstairs in the large room and had our wedding breakfast and evening celebration in the Godrevy Suite downstairs. Both spaces were beautiful, well maintained, and created exactly the feel we were hoping for.

We’ve already recommended the venue to others on wedding forums — we love St Ives, and this hotel really is the ideal place to get married. All our guests commented on how gorgeous the venue was and how ‘posh’ it felt. But that’s the thing — this hotel isn’t trying to be posh. It’s simply high quality, beautifully run, and full of character, with none of the pretentiousness you sometimes get with high-end venues.

We recently had the absolute joy of celebrating our wedding day at the Harbour House Hotel, and we cannot express how grateful we are for the incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, the entire team went above and beyond to ensure everything was flawless — and it truly was.

Our heartfelt thanks go to the amazing Abi and Erin, the wedding event coordinators, whose calm, professional and friendly approach made the whole planning process feel effortless. They handled every detail with such care, making us feel completely at ease and supported throughout.

Mollie at reception was equally wonderful — welcoming, attentive and a calming presence for our guests as they arrived and settled in.

We held our wedding at the St Ives Harbour Hotel in March 2025. It was a fantastic day and the most amazing experience from start to finish. The wedding team at the hotel are so helpful and knowledgeable and did everything they could to ensure our day went smoothly. The rooms for the ceremony and the party both have breathtaking views over the beach, the hotel team were super helpful in ensuring the rooms looked perfect for each section of the wedding. The food was really tasty and there was lots of choice. We would 100% recommend the Harbour Hotel as the perfect location for a Cornish wedding. Not only is the hotel amazing but the team couldn't do more to help and support us in ensuring we had the dream wedding we wanted!

We had our wedding at the Harbour hotel last weekend, we cannot recommend it enough. Each employee of the hotel was helpful, polite and couldn’t do enough for us! The room was beautiful, clean, with stunning beach views. The hotel catered to our every need, our wedding was coordinated well and the day ran smoothly. We recently got married at St Ives Harbour Hotel, and several members of our friends and family also stayed alongside us at the venue. We cannot praise nor thank each and every staff member enough - nothing was too much for any of them. The rooms were beautifully clean and equipped, with comfy beds and plenty of space, and the food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The events team were incredible, and made us feel like real VIP's. They came across as incredibly professional, and showed care right from the get go. We were fortunate enough to have beautiful sunshine throughout the day so headed down to the beach for some photos, knowing our guests would be in good hands back at the hotel. We will be sure to return for our anniversary next year, and hopefully make it a tradition. We would 1000% recommend to anyone considering the Harbour Hotel as a wedding venue. Thank you so so much for making our wedding day perfect!!

We want to say a huge thank you to our amazing wedding venue, Harbour Hotel. It was the perfect place we were looking for our elopement-style wedding ceremony. The staff were so lovely, special thanks to Sydney and Frances for managing everything so smoothly. You guys are the dream team! We also want to extend our gratitude to the admin who worked on July 16, 2024, for helping us with a lot of details for drivers and our vendors. This is a really easy review to write, as everything that we experienced throughout the whole experience was just perfect!

We took a massive risk and booked the venue without seeing it in person. We had a video call with Kelsie who showed us around the venue virtually. Impressed with everything that we saw we confirmed the venue.

Kelsie was an absolute star throughout the entire booking journey. She provided us with all the information that we need and was always on hand to help us with any questions that we had.

The hotel itself is beautiful, tasteful decor in the all areas of hotel is tasteful and in keeping with St.Ives.

We booked the Godrevy Suite which offers beautiful views across the bay and is perfectly situated by Porthminster beach. We paid extra to have the outdoor ceremony area which was worth every single penny. We had beautiful weather on our wedding day, but the hotel team to have a plan B and C should the weather take a turn for the worse which is reassuring.

The food was spectacular and we had so many comments from our guests about this. The drinks were also of good standard too.

As part of our package was a complementary room for the night of our wedding. We paid extra to upgrade to the suite with a balcony and it was beautiful! It was lovely to be able to sit on the balcony after the wedding and reflect on such a brilliant day!

All the team at the hotel are incredibly friendly. I would imagine that they do hundreds of weddings each year, but they genuinely made us feel like we were the only wedding they have had - we felt like royalty for the day!
