We are still pinching ourselves at just how perfect our wedding at St Michael’s Resort was. From start to finish, the whole team went above and beyond, and we feel so grateful to every single person who made the day what it was. From the very beginning, Nikki, the sales manager, made us fall in love with the space. She embraced all our crazy ideas, put us at ease straight away, and really sold us on the laid-back, relaxed feel of the venue; exactly the vibe we were looking for. As our planning progressed, Lana joined the team as our coordinator and immediately hit the ground running. She kept us so well informed, supported us with both our vegan and gluten-free needs (a difficult duo to cater for), and helped bring our vision to life. It was such a comfort knowing she was on our side throughout the planning (and we’re convinced we’ll see her at a Zach Bryan gig sometime soon!). On the day itself, Ella stepped in last minute and was an absolute star, we couldn’t have been luckier! Her warm, bubbly energy was exactly what we needed; she managed everything to perfection while keeping us relaxed and fully present. She struck the perfect balance of keeping us updated without ever intruding on those special moments. Andrew, the F&B manager, was also incredible. He fielded my endless questions with patience, and made sure everything ran seamlessly. He was with us from 8am until midnight on the wedding day, literally through every moment, making sure things were running without a hitch! Alongside the amazing service, was of course, the bespoke menu the chefs created for us which was nothing short of phenomenal. Our guests are still raving about it! And finally, bar man Oli deserves his own special shout-out. From our pre-wedding event to the big day itself (and somehow still showing up at breakfast the morning after), he spent practically 24 hours with us and our guests; serving up fantastic drinks, even better dance moves, and endless energy. He felt like part of the party as much as part of the team, and we can’t thank him enough. The whole team at St Michael’s were amazing. They made sure every detail, no matter how small, was handled with care and warmth. From the monumental vegan breakfast spread of dreams for the bridal party, to the way they looked after each and every one of our guests, they exceeded every expectation we had. We are endlessly grateful to everyone at St Michael’s Resort. They didn’t just host our wedding; they created an experience we and our guests will treasure forever. The stunning sea views and beautiful setting were the icing on the cake, but it was the people who made it truly unforgettable. We already can’t wait to come back again! *all photos by Matt Ebbage

Tregenna castle provided us with our dream wedding venue, dream wedding team and all round dream wedding day! When we look back at each moment, it was amazing because of them, from the co-ordinators, waiters and hotel staff, their combined efforts and hard work made our day, well to put it… perfect! Harriet and Katie were an anchor of support through each step of the planning process, from timings of the day, menu choices and just around to offer advice. Harriet who support the bridal team on the big day was calm and collected and got all those finer details in check so the day went as smoothly as planned. Stephane kept the fun alive and all our guests very well taken of throughout the day. There will never be enough words to describe how grateful we are to the whole team for helping us create but most importantly be apart of our special day. If we got to our day all over again, we would choose you… always.

Febe and her entire team are nothing but incredible. Nothing was too much effort, they understood exactly what we wanted our wedding day to look like and went above and beyond to make sure that it was exactly what we wanted! We had so much communication before the wedding going through every little detail, Febe checked in with us regularly to see if there was anything we needed help with and on the day, herself and her team worked so hard to make sure everything went smoothly! Our wedding day would not have been the day it was without her and we will be forever thankful for all of her hard work!

We had our wedding at the St Ives Harbour Hotel and honestly, it was perfection from start to finish. The customer service alone deserves 120/100 — the team were incredible throughout the whole journey. From the planning stage, answering my endless questions, regular catch-ups, all the way to the execution on the big day, they were on top of everything and made us feel completely supported. The venue itself was a dream. Sea-facing, bright, sunny, and beautifully spacious with both indoor and outdoor areas — you really can’t ask for more. Our guests were blown away by the view, and so were we. And the food… absolutely delicious. Everyone kept telling us how much they enjoyed it. Most importantly, it was a totally stress-free experience for me as a bride. I genuinely got to enjoy the day without worrying about anything, because the team handled it all so smoothly. One of the sweetest touches was the little gift they gave us to celebrate our wedding — such a thoughtful gesture and something we’ll never forget. Truly unforgettable day at an unforgettable venue. Highly, highly recommend.

We wholeheartedly recommend the Carbis Bay Hotel, its incredible events team and overall staff! Nothing was too much trouble and every single guest on the day commented on how smoothly the day went and how everyone was so friendly. Sofia and the events team were absolutely fantastic during our initial stays, our engagement at the hotel and the wedding day itself. Nothing was too much trouble!!

From booking to leaving 2 days after our big day, nothing was too much for all the staff. So lovely and friendly! Everything was seamless, food was amazing, very accommodating for all guests and ourselves.

We recently held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Greenbank hotel. We were so happy with everything about our day. Alisha and Matt made sure everything ran perfectly. Everyone in attendance had nothing but positive things to say about the venue, food, and staff. Eddie, the chef, produced the most incredible wedding breakfast, which we can not complement enough. Natalie and all the other evening staff really looked after us throughout the evening reception too. Thank you to everyone involved in helping us have the best wedding we could imagine! We would recommend the Greenbank to anyone considering it for their own wedding.

My son got married on saturday and we had the reception at the Penventon. From the very start with Nigel, Emily & David at reception the day was perfect. Ian & his team provided top service, the meal was very tasty and piping hot and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed the night in a spotlessly clean room and very comfortable bed and the breakfast was very good, some stayed on for a swim and we left the hotel very chilled. I have attended several functions & receptions at the Penventon and not had a bad one yet !!! Many thanks to David & Paola Pascoe and all the staff for helping to make our family's day very special.

Polhawn Fort is quite simply the most fantastic place. It holds a very special place in our hearts, having been where we were married back in 1995, and returning 30 years later to celebrate our anniversary there was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely brilliant — always on hand, offering instant attention and support, and making everything feel effortless. Their warmth, professionalism and genuine care made the whole celebration run seamlessly and allowed us to truly relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. Polhawn Fort is more than just a venue; it’s a place filled with meaning, history and love, and that feeling was just as powerful 30 years on. To be able to return and celebrate such a milestone anniversary, surrounded by loved ones and so many memories, was a privilege we’ll always treasure. Polhawn Fort continues to be a living part of our story, and we cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable place to celebrate love.
