A Punjabi Cornish Wedding Beyond Our Wildest Dreams If you’re searching for a venue that will treat your wedding like it’s the only one that matters, look no further. Our Punjabi Cornish wedding here was nothing short of magical, and we are still floating on cloud nine. From the very first conversation, Aliki & Lawrence made us feel like family. As a husband-and-wife team, they bring a warmth and personal touch you simply can’t get from a big corporate venue — every detail was handled with genuine care, and nothing was ever too much trouble. With 200 guests to host, we needed a team who could handle scale without losing that intimate feeling, and they delivered effortlessly. The setting itself is unforgettable. Perched with what must be the best view in the whole county, our guests were stopping mid-conversation just to take in the scenery. Saying our vows with that backdrop, and later dancing under the stunning tipi marquee, gave our celebration a magic that photos almost don’t do justice to. Logistically, they thought of everything: easy, stress-free parking for all of our guests, and gorgeous “posh camping” so our loved ones could stay right on site and keep the celebration going. Blending Punjabi traditions with a Cornish setting could have been complicated, but the team made it feel completely seamless — genuinely anything was possible. If you want a wedding day that feels cared for at every single moment, and a venue that will go above and beyond to make your vision come to life, this is it. Tregenna castle provided us with our dream wedding venue, dream wedding team and all round dream wedding day! When we look back at each moment, it was amazing because of them, from the co-ordinators, waiters and hotel staff, their combined efforts and hard work made our day, well to put it… perfect! Harriet and Katie were an anchor of support through each step of the planning process, from timings of the day, menu choices and just around to offer advice. Harriet who support the bridal team on the big day was calm and collected and got all those finer details in check so the day went as smoothly as planned. Stephane kept the fun alive and all our guests very well taken of throughout the day. There will never be enough words to describe how grateful we are to the whole team for helping us create but most importantly be apart of our special day. If we got to our day all over again, we would choose you… always.

We got married at The Land's End hotel at the end of October, such amazing location to get married and you may think that the venue would believe that's enough but certainly not! From the very start of our process with wedding planner Febe, we felt at ease and had every confidence we had made the right choice. Febe covered every little detail, really hard to believe that she had not long started in the role of wedding planner. We had also asked that we have a bespoke menu to cater for our Scottish and Swedish heritage, absolutely no problem for them either with Josh creating some amazing dishes. From the moment our guests started to arrive for their stay it was evident that every member of staff were very friendly and fully committed to the guests. On the day Febe was joined by Tammy, an amazing team! Everything ran with clockwork precision, despite the groom and best men's relaxed attitude pre-ceremony, they managed to get everyone where they needed to be on time. Nothing was too much for them, we were lucky enough to have some lovely sunshine and they were happy for us to take advantage of it by driving us, along with our photographer down to Sennen Beach for a little shoot. Very grateful to them for that as the photo's are amazing. The wedding breakfast was amazing and it was no problem whatsoever with our guests diverse allergies and diets, served nice and hot despite having to work out of a mobile kitchen. The room was turned round very quickly for the evening celebrations with everyone enjoying themselves. One of parties children didn't feel too well and one of the staff drove the family back to where they were staying, again more than we'd have expected! The bar staff at the end of the night also allowed us to go a little over time so we could have the traditional end of Scottish wedding song 'The bonny banks o' Loch Lomond' making sure we finished on a high. We can't believe just how great and accommodating all the staff were, they really couldn't do enough for us and always with a smile on their faces, they were truly hard working and looked like they enjoyed their jobs. They definitely did not take it for granted that the location was enough. We had a much more wonderful day than we'd dreamed of and that is down to the professionalism, detail, hard work and friendliness of the staff. It was truly one of the most wonderful days of our lives, so thank you very, very much. We would highly recommend The Land’s End Hotel if you’re looking for a breathtaking venue with the most amazing staff and attention to details.

We recently held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Greenbank hotel. We were so happy with everything about our day. Alisha and Matt made sure everything ran perfectly. Everyone in attendance had nothing but positive things to say about the venue, food, and staff. Eddie, the chef, produced the most incredible wedding breakfast, which we can not complement enough. Natalie and all the other evening staff really looked after us throughout the evening reception too. Thank you to everyone involved in helping us have the best wedding we could imagine! We would recommend the Greenbank to anyone considering it for their own wedding.

The Falmouth hotel has recently been renovated and the views are beautiful, the events manager Samantha Carr was brilliant. Our guests still mention the food from our wedding saying it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The Falmouth were very accommodating as we wanted it to be very Cornish as we are both Cornish. We had roast/fish/veggie option for main, our favourite desserts including brownie, crumble & cheesecake & in the evening Cornish pasties & homemade scones. They were really helpful and understanding with needing to go outside of the menu for children & for guests with several allergies, we cannot recommend them high enough. They were even accommodating when we wanted to give the option of thunder & lightening on scones which several guests including myself loved! Due to our lack of budget (health reasons) I created a lot of stuff for our wedding, Samantha was very kind to set everything up for us the day of the wedding as we got married in Truro prior.

From the first day we viewed the Alverton, the staff were attentive, helpful and informative. No question was too silly and nothing seemed too much trouble. The regular check ins were fantastic, and it just made everything SO easy. On the day, the team were just phenomenal - from the morning check in, room service, through to the ceremony and dinner service, absolutely everything was covered and flawlessly handled. If anything went wrong, we had no clue! We can’t thank the Alverton enough, and we truly cannot speak highly enough of them.

I can not recommend the Atlantic enough! I spent several months searching for the best value for money! Our budget was under 10k but in Cornwall it’s really easy to go above. We decided on the Atlantic pretty much as soon as we met Nina our wedding planner and was shown the grounds. The views over the sea are breathtaking, we were lucky to have a clear day and a beautiful red sky sunset in the evening! The decking area was super popular throughout the day where our guests enjoyed their cold beverages and gorgeous sun. Every member of staff were professional and catered to all our needs. Food was 10/10 rated by all our guests, hot plates and plenty of choices to suit all. The ball room was perfect size for our dj and guests to dance, we had a photo booth and a chocolate fountain which fit perfectly! About 8 tables for our guest to also sit in there in the evening and our own private bar. Overall I’m so happy we booked our venue at the Atlantic and wouldn’t change a thing.

We had our wedding reception here in July 2023, and I can honestly say it was the best day. Becky, Terri and the rest of the staff made the day so much better as everything we wanted was done and nothing was too much trouble. I never felt stressed or worried when it came to anything involving the venue as everything was sorted and they always replied to any of my questions so quickly. We also hired all the hotel rooms too and were very reasonably priced. We also come to the eagle house quite regularly for food and drinks, and we always get the best service. If you are thinking about using this venue for your wedding I highly recommend

Polhawn Fort is quite simply the most fantastic place. It holds a very special place in our hearts, having been where we were married back in 1995, and returning 30 years later to celebrate our anniversary there was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely brilliant — always on hand, offering instant attention and support, and making everything feel effortless. Their warmth, professionalism and genuine care made the whole celebration run seamlessly and allowed us to truly relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. Polhawn Fort is more than just a venue; it’s a place filled with meaning, history and love, and that feeling was just as powerful 30 years on. To be able to return and celebrate such a milestone anniversary, surrounded by loved ones and so many memories, was a privilege we’ll always treasure. Polhawn Fort continues to be a living part of our story, and we cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable place to celebrate love.
