We cannot thank China fleet and especially Julie enough for hosting our special wedding day!
The team went above and beyond to ensure our day was exactly what we wanted. They kept every magical idea we had and made it even more special. They overcame the weather when it decided not to play ball and ensured we felt relaxed the whole day! We had many chilled planning sessions and lots of laughs which made the whole experience less stressful than anticipated.
The first time we met Julie was a week after my beloved mum passed and the wedding day was on her year anniversary. Julie and her team ensured my mum was remembered as well as making our day extra special.
We both highly recommend china fleet! The food was Delicious, the service top notch and the accommodation to die for. The spa the next day was a true treat! China fleet is truly a wedding venue to make your day specially and magically yours. Thank you china fleet, Julie and the team!

Absolutely amazing wedding
Fantastic wedding day at China fleet!
It was everything we wanted and more!
We booked to have the afternoon tea package and it was perfect, the ceremony room was beautiful and the reception where we had the afternoon tea looked so lovely and was exactly how we wanted it.
Both julie and Terrie were brilliant and the communication was good throughout.
We also loved that our friends and family were able to stay in the apartments on the wedding night and i really enjoyed a great night with friends the night before the wedding using the golf and spa facilities!.
Also staying in the honeymoon suite for 2 nights was a real treat!
It was real value for money for what we got and was just what we were looking for and i would highly recommend getting married at china fleet!!

5 Reasons Why China Fleet Are Amazing!
1) Support During Covid - We booked the China Fleet for our wedding in March 2020 just before the pandemic hit for 31st July 2021 which we ended up having to postpone. The China Fleet were super accomodating and changing dates was easy and straightforward. Exactly the flexability we needed as our guest of honour was high risk and we didn't want to go ahead if they could not attend.
2) Accessibility & Inclussion - The reason we chose the venue was because of the accessibility for our guest of honour (my partners blind Grandmother). It was easy to get to from their house, the ceremony room was on the ground floor as was the Farmhouse Suite where we were after the ceremony and for the evening turn around. There was a lift up to the Atlantic Suite where the Wedding Breakfast and Evening Reception were. The team on the day were so helpful and accomodating towards her and also towards any dieatry requirements (we had a fair few!).
3) Reliable Vendor Recomendations - We live in London and as mentioned booked a venue in Cornwall for the guest of honour. This meant that we were 5 hours away from any local wedding vendors. As you can imagine this made figuring out who was best to use a little stressful. Lauren was able to recommend us a florist and photographer who both did such an amazing job and have a great partnership with the venue. We also attended the wedding fair in October 2021 at the China Fleet and found an amazing singer for our Canapes in the Farmhouse Suite.
4) Organisation - Both Lauren and Julie were responsive to emails and had a lot of patience for my hundreds of questions. We had a meeting with Julie a few months prior to the wedding and she blew me away with how organised she was and her attention to detail. I left the meeting with a huge amount of confidence that they would ensure the day went as smoothly as possible.
5) Compassion & Support - Planning a Wedding is stressful and the week of I was feeling very anxious. Both Julie and Lauren were very compassionate and supportive whenever I would get stressed out.
Overall I think that they did an amazing job for our wedding. The China Fleet is a very special venue with staff that have done enough Weddings to have such a well organised process but still manage to make your day feel special.

Whilst we must give high praise to Julie and Kevin who went above and beyond to make our day special, the whole team were incredible and nothing was too much trouble.
The wedding breakfast itself was of a very high standard with the attention to detail being perfect.
The accommodation for our 30+ weekend guests was luxurious and spacious with all guests making positive comments, and with the venue providing many activities for our guests to relax and unwind over the weekend, they were a happy bunch.
