Yes, it’s absolutely like the fairytale photos. Lizzie, Kim & the team go above and beyond for you to ensure you have the best day. We were hit with some pretty wet and windy weather, meaning we had to change our whole ceremony set up about an hour before it was due to begin. They made it all happen so quickly and the guests didn’t know any different. Everyone that works there are so lovely and hard working. We are so happy we chose this venue and can see us returning for holidays in years to come. Your guests will love it!

We didn’t want our day to feel like ‘another wedding’, with the usual formulaic approach. Which is why we chose Fir Hill. A huge woodland estate. We spent the weekend with our friends and family, had the most magical woodland walk back from the historic village church after the service, and the rest of our day dancing, eating and celebrating with the entire estate as our stomping ground. Charlie is a terrific host, he planned the weekend alongside us and his enthusiasm for our ideas made us feel incredibly special. The day before our wedding our friends and family started to arrive, staying in yurts on the grounds. The indoor facilities make ‘glamping’ that much easier with proper toilet and shower facilities, an indoor kitchen area in a large barn style setting with comfortable seating. We decorated the venue in our own style and way, and all our guests who were staying on site pitched in. The girls collected wild flowers from the woodland for the picnic tables , whilst others hung bunting and positioned straw bales. It was a great way to start the weekend with time for a huge game of rounders before settling down before the night. As the bride I had access to the indoor upstairs area to get ready on the day and for some celebratory glasses with my bridal party. The group made their way to the church ready the service and I hitched a ride with Charlie and my dad. Colan church is small but beautiful, the bells rang and the organ began. After the service, we walked as a group for those who wanted to, back to the venue. We hung bunting along the track to the apple orchard where Charlie served the group cider as the entered. We had an accordion playing which added to the atmosphere. My husband and I had some photos taken in the grounds as the wedding party helped themselves to seafood chowder and buffet served by a third party supplier from the BBQ area. We hired a VW cocktail and beer bar and had a tequila table, sombrero included. We’d hired some garden games from a company but you could easily set something up yourself. We also had our own bell tent and filled it with kids toys for the children. The amphitheatre area we’d set up with straw bales and blankets and the speeches began after lunch. It worked perfectly and my favourite photo of the entire day is of our entire wedding party toasting with the Prosecco poured by Charlie. Our ushers helped to keep everyone topped up! This space can be whatever you want it to be, we had an acoustic duo, a band and a dj throughout the day. A pizza truck and coffee van also came to keep everyone fed and watered later into the evening. If it had rained we would have been in the barn and under the marquee, but thankfully we didn’t need them. But the space and breakout areas made everyone comfortable. If I could do it all over again I would. Fir Hill is a very special place and having the freedom to do whatever we want made it even better. Charlie will go out his way to make your day just as special if you choose this place for your day. I loved having our friends involved in the setup and it only made them also feel more connected to the day and the place. Roll on the 5 year anniversary party! Thank you Charlie

Thank you so so much to Georgie, Francis and JP!! We had the most wonderful wedding weekend at Wildwood bluebell, it was so much more than we could ever have asked for. The whole space is gorgeous, from the atmospheric woodland that was carpeted in ferns, to our Friday night BBQ in the idyllic courtyard. Georgie and JP were so flexible and open to ideas, and we had so much free reign to create our weekend as we wanted, especially compared to other places that we'd visited. Our guests could set up camp in the meadow from Friday, with a big BBQ party and bar in the courtyard for the evening. Then we used Bisley marquee's for wedding day in the main field, with plenty of space for games including crazy golf. The main barn was perfect for family accommodation, and for getting ready with the girls in the morning. It's a lovely central point that offers some 'comforts', whilst still feeling part of the site. Throughout the whole process, Georgie was very present and supportive, and gave us a lot of practical insight into how to cater for everyone over the weekend. JP was fantastic. So helpful, efficient, and a calming presence throughout the day. He really made sure that everything flowed well and that all the little details were sorted. Looking back, we feel so incredibly lucky that we came across this venue. It feels so down to earth, and really matched what we had hoped for - laidback, festival vibe, colourful, wild, and totally euphoric. So thank you Georgie, Francis and JP - we'd loved every minute!!

The Woods at Oakley is the most magical wedding venue! We had goosebumps as soon as we first visited the Hazel Bower, and had our wonderful wedding there in September 2025. The Nissen Hut is a perfect addition and such a luxurious place for the bridal party to get ready on the wedding morning. The team are absolutely incredible, and there whenever you need them. Rachel was our wedding co-ordinator and I cannot recommend her highly enough! She really went above and beyond to make our day run as smoothly as possible. Thank you so much to everyone.

What a fantastic venue! Stel really helped with everything we needed from recommendations on vendors through to sweeping out the rain water on the day after thunderstorms! We visited a few times before, to plan the site but also just to have a cuppa and relax by the fire! The weather was horrendous, torrential rain and thunderstorms in the week leading up to the day, but it didn't put a damper on anything at all! Stel helped in every way she could to keep the ground level and walkable, but I prepared my guests and said wellies would be helpful! If you're vision is for an outdoor wedding in the woods you can't find anything better! It was truly magical! Love you Stel!!!

Moonacre is a stunning venue with excellent staff. The venue itself is gorgeous we saved so much on decoration as the natural beauty of the venue did a lot of leg work, alongside all the beautiful details already there including the draping and lighting in the marquee and lights outside. Just exactly what we had dreamed of. The accomodation was perfect, meant we could have all our friends and family around us . Hayley and Dom were excellent, they were responsive in the lead up to the wedding and on the day they were great and worked hard to enable us to have what we dreamed of despite various storm related challenges. They and the bar staff worked loads in the background to keep everything moving smoothly and we're great all round. This venue was perfect for our nature/festival themed wedding, we couldn't have asked for anything better

5 stars does not even come close to how amazing our Rudge Farm wedding was! From beginning to end Danielle was attentive and supportive, holding my hand every step of the way! We arrived on the Friday along with 28 guests who were staying in the cottages, our bedroom was decorated beautifully and the welcome bottle of fizz was lovely! Danielle and her husband had no issues with us sitting up late listening to music in the courtyard area and encouraged us to have a good time! On the wedding day, nothing was too much trouble for Danielle and the Rudge Farm team, even when minor hiccups occurred danielle was instantly creating contingency plans and we felt immediately safe in her very experienced hands! The day ran so smoothly and I genuinely believe this is all down to the organisation and support. I had sooooo many people comment on how fantastic the venue was, it truly is Dorsets hidden gem! I would 100% recommend booking your wedding at Rudge Farm, you will not regret it!

Koa tree is an incredibly beautiful place. With everything onsite you could possibly need. The staff were not just outstanding but full of kindness and love, they truly cared about every detail and didn’t hesitate with any request no matter how big or small. I couldn’t rate this place highly enough. If you are planning your wedding do it here, this was more than we could have ever hoped for. Thank you team Koa! Xxxxx

Tortworth left us completely in awe. It was wonderful to have the freedom to create exactly what we wanted for our wedding, whilst being able to spend extended time with family and friends.
